I had the OLD Skool Roll. All I can say is YUM! If you're watching calories, you may want to just eat half and save the other for the next day. I also had the Lemon Blueberry coffee cake, which was ok. (This is why I gave 4 Stars) A bit too busy for me. I'd prefer either Lemon or Blueberry. Great service! I came in to get desserts for a birthday party. The owner, Laurin, the cashier, Jessica, and the employees went above and beyond to make it a success. I also saw the owner give free food to the Uber eats driver. She also gave me some free Just baked yesterday rolls! On a whim I decided to download an app called Too Good To Go. If you're not familiar, local restaurants use this app to sell goods they have left at the end of the day at a discount price. You generally aren't told what you're going to get- it's a surprise. As soon as I opened the app I saw that Cinnaholic was offering a bag for $5.99. My kiddo and I decided to give it a try. We popped over to the store, and when you open the door and walk in, it smells like heaven. A woman was walking out as we were walking in, and she looked practically delirious (in a good way!) as she told us how amazing the treats were from here. We approached the counter where a lovely, and friendly woman (and I have to say- she was legit one of the most beautiful looking women I have ever seen in my life, I was like mesmerized by her!) asked how she could help us. I explained we were picking up a Too Good To Go order and she immediately had it ready for us. She was kind enough to explain to me how to mark my order as "picked up" in the app since I was new to using it, and she explained the types of goods she typically puts in the TGTG bags. She was so warm and seemed in no rush at all to end our interaction- which I found so endearing! As we returned to our car, my kiddo began to inspect the goods. We had 3 cinnamon rolls with different toppings. They were still warm too!!! We tried a few bites from each one when we got home- and they were insanely good! They held up great in the fridge overnight, and I microwaved one for 35 second the next morning to enjoy with my coffee and it was perfectly warmed up. On a whim I Googled the company, and I was STUNNED to read that these cinnamon buns are VEGAN. I honestly never would have known if I hadn't looked it up! The delays are well-documented by other Yelpers, so I won't belabor the point (hopefully the business figures out how to make rolls more quickly). I write to confirm that the rolls are delicious and to urge the owner to invest in an espresso machine (probably a fully automatic one for ease of employee operation). But due to another quoted 1hr+ wait (with less ppl in store), i couldn't do it again. But the staff is kind and patient, the franchise owner is present and working very hard. For the shocker - the chocolate chip cookies were delicious, the sugar cookie was decent. The brownies were thick and looked rich but they weren't. I'm still trying to figure out how something so decedent looking could be so deprived of chocolate flavor but I was disappointed. Unfortunately no one in my family of 6 enjoyed the cinnamon buns and we tried four flavors, plus the original. The buns were on the dry side, lacked flavor (cinnamon, vanilla ... something) and the ones with toppings were too sweet to consume. It's possible this was an off day for them and I'd certainly try again, definitely for the cookies and maybe a regular cinnamon bun. read more

As much as it pains me to say this, I am going to be a regular customer! These cinnamon rolls were delicious! As was the chocolate chip cookie and lemon berry cake. We had the old skool, banana pudding, and lemon ice box rolls. We went a little after 7 pm, and there were 3 people in line in front of us and maybe 4 people waiting. Within minutes the line started getting longer and longer. I like the fact that the rolls are not sitting pre made, so it does take some time for them to "design" each roll to order. I came here recently for the first time and my oh my, these Cinnabons are delicious! The fact that it's vegan too. I chose the the signature very berry and my husband made his own with almond frosting, bananas, strawberries, and coconut on top. Both were super delicious! I have a sweet tooth, my husband not so much but he still loves these Cinnabons. It's about the same price with the brand Cinnabon and I think it's worth it. This is my new go to every other Saturday. They are short staffed which makes me sad and they don't accept cash only Plastic. I had the very berry one that was so fresh yet guilty each bite had fresh strawberry preserves, cream cheese icing and strawberries and blue berries. It wasn't piping hot but was still fluffy and good. We will return. I also heard the owner is a Hampton female graduate so I will for sure return will try a new one each time. My sister is a vegan and loves sweet stuff so for her birthday I decided to stop by the new Cinnaholic location in Crofton/Gambrills to get a sweet treat for her birthday. Knowing that this place is new and having been to their location in Georgia a couple of months ago, I understand that it takes time for them to make their cinnamon rolls, cookies, etc. especially when adding the 5 to 10 toppings most people want on them. Therefore, I went on their app and did their online order. By the time I got there it was ready and I did not have to stand in the long line (BTW, I went on a Friday afternoon around 3pm). Anyone with any sort of food service experience knows, you don't wait until you're out of your MAIN PRODUCT to make more. The cinnamon bun tasted fine. It was a bit too sweet, but it was alright. I imagine if I was a sugar fueled eight year old, it would've been awesome. Unfortunately, I didn't think they were better than Cinnabon. For $6, you want gourmet. However, I think I could do better with a can of Pillsbury and some Betty Crocker icing. All in all - mid at best. The cinnamon rolls are "fine." The issue is that they have one oven and they can only run one type of menu item through the oven at a time. Consequently, while there is a line to the door, everyone else is waiting 15 minutes for the cinnamon rolls to be cooked. Once cooked, the staff doesn't move quickly enough to really keep things moving--there appeared to be no effort to really push the line or clear out folks who were waiting for their orders to be completed. On top of that, staff didn't seem to entertain basic requests for accommodations from customers, like frosting on the side rather than on the roll. By the time mine got home, most of it was in the base of the container rather than on the roll itself. Taste was fine. It was a cinnamon roll. I ordered the chai but there wasn't really anything to suggest any flavor beyond slightly spiced buttercream. Not sure it's worth the cost, when I feel like I could probably get similar results from a pillsbury cinnamon roll in a tube at home in a fraction of the time. The upside is that they're plant-based, but I feel like I could probably produce similar results at home with a little work on the internet. You have to wait in line to place your order then wait somewhere else to pick it up. There are people everywhere! Seems disorganized and poor control of the lines; the order here sign is in the front and the pick up order sign is in the back, but in actuality just stand anywhere you can and await for them to call your name.. I love the Cinnamon rolls here, they are soooo good. I've been there twice now. My first visit was during the first week of opening and I wasn't expecting the long wait but I waited because I really wanted to try the cinnamon rolls. I'm glad I waited because the apple pie roll was soooo good. I went again recently on 1/29. I was told there would be a 20 minute wait so I went and walked around other stores until then. When I got back to the store, my order still wasn't ready and they made a mistake and made one of rolls wrong, so I had to wait some more. I can be understanding so I didn't give them a hard time about that since I know they are working out the kinks. What I was upset about was the inconsistency in the size of the rolls. I ordered 3 rolls. One OG and two custom. The OG and one of my customs were half the size of the other roll. I wish I would have taken pictures but I didn't. They were all good but I think they need to work on the consistency in the size of the rolls. I was quite disappointed to see that when I got home. I will probably visit again but I will make sure I look at the rolls before they give them to me next time. read more

They were just okay. The regular roll w/cream cheese icing is a chef's kiss and the only thing I order now. S'mores was okay. Cookie Monster was okay. One of the staff made a comment that she didn't want to make the gluten-free version and usually tells customers they don't serve it. Then the staff argued about who was going to make my food.
