    One night stand & fries

I was so excited to finally try Slutty Vegan now that they've opened a location in Maryland. I even tried to go when I was in Atlanta, but I refused to stand in that mile long line. When I saw there was no line at the Maryland location, I jumped at the chance to check it out. As soon as you walk in, the whole team greets you with fun chants like "Let's get sluttified!" and "Welcome to Slutty Vegan," and when you leave they chant, "We've got some sluts leaving the house." The place is nice and clean, though there isn't much seating inside. However, they do have a bar next door. Bar Vegan with plenty of seating available. I ordered the One Night Stand plant-based burger, which comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, vegan cheese, vegan bacon, and slut sauce on a Hawaiian bun, along with a side of fries. The fries were good, and the burger was okay pretty much a typical vegan burger. I may come back to try other menu items

Finally made my way to the Baltimore location. I placed an order online for pickup. I decided on the Hollywood Hooker. My order was ready upon arrival. Taste and texture wise, the sandwich was good. My only problem, the fries were cold when I got in my car with plans to devour them. Also, I requested no dust on my fries but received them dusted- too salty for my palate.

I hope with the amount I paid for the burger that the employees are paid a livable wage, cause that's the only reason I can think of the pay nearly $30 for an extremely mid experience. If they grilled the bun and caramelized the onions properly the burger would have been fantastic, but all in all, this was a $15 burger with a hefty price tag. Baltimore is full of fantastic vegan options, I'd recommend those instead

Chick'n head & Hollywood Hooker & Banana Pudding

Food: chick'n head and fries were good, so was Hollywood hooker but it was super messy. Banana pudding was gritty and overwhelmingly sweet. The drinks we had were also too sweet for my taste. Strange that nowhere on the menu or even on the website can you easily find the ingredients for what these plant based patties are. Finally found them on Instagram. Vibe: restaurant is cute Service: friendly and a little slow, we were only 2 people in restaurant and our order took quite some time Overall, decent food, skip the drinks and dessert. The price is really what brings this down to a 3 for me. If you want to charge higher prices for quality plant ingredients, need the ingredients more prominently displayed somewhere.

Gasp.....I love me some Slutty Vegan....but this location, it always seems to be extremely slow. This is my third time trying them out. They now have removed the seating they once had, they only have the bar stools by the wall currently. The signature greeting they state when you come in is lack luster as well. Sometimes you may get it...other times nope. In New York I was a regular and they were always on point. Service as I stated they don't always greet you. The folks that are working take their sweet time coming to the register or addressing you in general. This last time there were 3 guys working and it seem like the two were confused on how to get the orders correct. Another guy appeared and tried to work through to get them back on track. Once that happened things starting flowing again...but it's a shame to see this happening. Now the food...it's delicious! I love me a Sloopy Toppy, Hollywood hooker, Fussy Hussy, one night stand, slutty fries and we can't forget one of my favorites...The Dancehall Queen!! I love me some plantains on my burger!! Side bar, you never have to order fries as all the food options come with fries as part of the price. Didn't know that years ago, and had some many fries. I am hoping they can get it together here because I love me some Slutty Vegan.

Pumped to finally experience Slutty Vegan. Left feeling just ok. Following the Slutty Vegan Instagram account I see all the work being put in to crafting an extensive vegan fast food menu. The first thing I noticed is this location only does burgers and the Philly Cheesesteak. Sad, I was in a chicken mood. I ordered the Fussy Hussy, a banana pudding and two orders of Slutty Fries. The burger was a fine vegan burger. The Slutty Fries were a bit over dusted, my son passed his last few on to me as they were too much for him. The Banana Pudding was the star of the show. Absolutely enthralled with the texture and taste. The service here was good. They greet you when you enter with a call out. The lady who took my order was attentive and answered my question. The food came out rather quickly. Love that the Slutty Vegan franchise seems to focus on local as they offer Cajou Creamery ice cream. I would've dipped into that had the banana pudding not caught my eye. Overall, I think I will be back to try out the bar next door and to experience another one of their burgers. Oh, and to eat that banana pudding again. I'm just not in any rush to do so.

Amazing service today. Zamicka recommended the Hollywood Hooker their version of a steak and cheese with awesome fries. It was delicious. Everything was piping hot and fresh. I loved the chili sauce too! I came from Washington, DC but will definitely be traveling back to get my holy hookup! The place s bright and airy. Love! Love! Love

I was excited to try this place but was left disappointed. Vibe is fun for sure, branding is bold with lots of personality. Ordered the one night stand & Hollywood hooker. First off, the food took almost half an hour. When we got our food, the cheesesteak (Hollywood hooker) was already falling apart and messy (...maybe that's where it got its name from lol). We had to go back in for napkins and utensils. Sandwich was soggy and lukewarm, despite eating it right away upon receiving. And the price, I understand plant based ingredients can be pricey, but I left feeling like the value didn't quite match the cost.

Of Course this black owned business and Baltimore native's restaurant was on my Yelp List to check out. I was able to hang with my oldest daughter while checking out this restaurant. This was my 1st time really trying a vegan burger and I was amazed by how good the burgers and fries were. We ordered the Fussy Hussy & the One Night Stand with seasoned fries. Our food was ready within 10 mins of ordering. I love a good messy burger & it was nicely seasoned and of course SLUTTY to my liking!!! Burgers were priced at $20 each so be prepared. The area is new up and coming with Bar Vegan sharing a space on the other side of the restaurant. There is very limited booth seating and a few stools up against the wall to sit at with a Merch counter to pick up any Slutty Vegan gear. Street parking is available. Definitely a must try and will definitely return.

We made it to Slutty Vegan Baltimore Md, We had the Hollywood Hooker VEGAN BEEF, GRILLED ONIONS, PEPPERS,, KETCHUP, MAYO & CHILLI SAUCE. When you are in Bmore stop by. Great food. Thanks Zanicka for outstanding service

The food and service were excellent. We went there around 1:00 PM on a Friday. Ms. Renee took VERY GOOD care of us. She's kind and helped us make decisions on what to order. She makes a dope Dirty Diana Oreo Milkshake. I'd definitely go back there to get a shake made by her. I took non-vegan friends here and they all raved about their meals. They kept saying that they were surprised how good everything tasted. They loved the banana pudding. I went back another time and the food and service were consistently good. The staff were friendly and the food is delicious again. The bathrooms, counters, and booths are clean. The special greeting will make you smile. #nospoilersfromme

I am so glad that they finally brought SV to Baltimore! I've been wanting to try it for years, and it did not disappoint! It's in a cool up and coming area, lots of street parking. I went on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. There are only two tables inside the restaurant, plus a bar-type seating area near the register, but there's tables outside as well. Luckily we got to sit inside. I actually loved the simplicity of the menu. I decided to try the Slutty Hussy burger, which came with fries. I also got a strawberry dragonfruit drink. They also serve ice cream from Cajou Creamery, a vegan and black owned company. I'll have to try a scoop next time. The burger- wow!! I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was! I'm not vegan but I have tried other vegan burgers, but this one tasted really close to the real thing. Seasoned well and the toppings were perfect. The fries were delicious and hot. The drink was very good too! I definitely want to come back and try a different burger next time.

Wrap it up apparently made however they want to.

I was finally able to go back and try Slutty Vegan after seeing it next door while I was at the grand opening of Bar Vegan. I had been wanting to check it out for a while, but this was my first visit back. After standing in line and tearing them announce loudly when another team member walked in, "We got another SLUT in the building!" or calling out the order is being placed and a side eyed manner, I couldn't determine if it was fun or slightly over the top. They definitely teeter-totter on the line of that and it was a little . . . . . I'm not exactly sure how to describe it but I was thinking of not answering the building again. I browsed the menu, and decided to try the "Wrap It Up" because it there were oyster mushrooms and old bay--something I was really excited about trying! I love mushrooms & old bay but I've never tried the combination before on a burger. I also ordered fries, and my date did the same. We took the food over to Sagmore and grabbed some drinks to wrap up the evening. However, when I opened my order I noticed a "Sloppy Toppy" sticker on it. I hesitated to open it, especially since it looked more like a burrito than and burger. When I unwrapped it, I realized it was a wrap, not the burger I thought I had ordered. My date took it back across the street to the restaurant, and when he returned, he said they confirmed it was the right sandwich, just with the wrong sticker. I'm so glad I took pictures because I couldn't remember the name of the dish I had ordered. Upon looking back, I saw that the dish was actually called "Wrap It Up," but the description didn't clarify that it was a wrap--especially considering it was on the burger menu. I'll admit that I assumed it was a burger, but a clearer description would have helped. As for the oyster mushrooms, they weren't crispy as I had hoped, which was a bit disappointing. When the gentleman took my order and gave me the option of deep fried or sautéed, I couldn't believe my hears! But of course I want them deep fried, Sir lol I can't completely write them off just yet because I still have not tried their vegan burger! SMH I was a little let down by the miscommunication and the texture of the mushrooms. Hoppefully the menu descriptions get improved to stop confusion.

Cross Street is one of my favorite markets in the city (probably behind Lexington), and I randomly stopped at Southside not really knowing what food I had a taste for. I ordered a double cheeseburger (customized my way), and fries, and my total was about $15. I think that's fairly average these days, on top... it was actually good. Like there was a ACTUAL cheese pull when you bit into the burger. It was HOT and fresh when I took the wrapper off my burger; just overall, gave an actual grill taste. As other reviews stated, the business provides plastic, paper, and overall disposable utensils and plates and when I'm back at Cross Street, I know exactly where I'm going to get a burger, a beer - and probably some onion rings now, now that I know they're a fan favorite!

And for 3 summers in a row, they had customers lined up. There are 9 Shake Shacks in Maryland. Shake Shack Inner Harbor is located on the corner of Commerce St. and E Pratt St. I've walked past this a few times before. I stopped by on a weeknight while in the area to get some food to take home, around 940pm on a Friday night. It was super busy, and a lot of people were in the restaurant dining in. There are a few kiosk touch screens on the counter where you can order your food. You pick a number to attach to your order and that's what they call out when your food is ready. There are a lot of tables inside the restaurant to sit and dine at or to wait for take-out orders. It's been a while since I've been to a Shake Shack. The last time had to have been 1am in Las Vegas by the NYNY hotel (side note, that location is open until the early morning hours if you ever need food late). As I was glancing at the menu the limited time only," The Big Shack" burger definitely caught my eye. It looked as perfect as a burger should be! Described as "Two 1/4lb Angus Beef patties, secret sauce, green leaf lettuce, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on a three-layer toasted potato bun Potato Bun." Yep, definitely had to get that. And this burger tasted as good as it looks! Bacon Cheese Fries, "crispy, crinkle cut fries topped with melted cheddar and American cheese and applewood-smoked bacon". Yums, yes please! The fries were very crispy. I also saw that they have a limited time only, Popping Boba for an upcharge, I definitely wanted to try that. I got the "Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade: Pomegranate, basil, and lemongrass mixed with our Shack-made lemonade" with the "Mini Raspberry Popping Boba". I got the Frozen Custard with double scoop, 1 in Vanilla and 1 in Chocolate. The frozen custard is made in house every day with milk and eggs. It's very rich and sweet. I preferred the chocolate flavor over the vanilla as the egg flavor was hidden within better and not as standout. It didn't take too long until my food was ready. I did a quick check over all the items to make sure they didn't miss anything (highly recommended to check your orders anywhere, any time, and for any item LOL). After drinking some of my drink, I realized the Mini Raspberry Popping Boba I had paid extra for were not in sight. I went back to the counter and asked about this. A supervising worker asked another employee to make me a new drink with the Popping Boba. And told me to throw my current drink out. I appreciated how fast the problem was fixed. It wasn't a big deal at all and because of how busy the restaurant was, I can see mistakes happening. One con is that all the items at Shake Shack are ordered ala carte, since they don't have combo meals. Sooo, it can get very expensive, even for just 1 person.
