It's so exciting to have a vegetarian vegan restaurant as I am visiting and don't have that in my hometown. So glad I discovered this and even upon entering one of the workers welcome to me right away. Everybody was friendly and cordial and professional so I felt very at home. I stopped into Liquid Earth on Sunday to grab my usual Reuben before heading back to DC, already feeling like the day could not get any better. Then I ordered the vegan crab cakes on special. I had the best sandwich in my entire lifeeee I came into Liquid Earth expecting a basic, regular meal and was left blown away. I didn't think vegetarian food could get this good. The submarine sandwich was stacked and full of flavor. It was so big I had to take most of it to go :) We were helped by a super friendly guy that made the experience even better. He recommended the wings, which I didn't see on the menu, but I'm so glad we tried them. They were crispy and delicious and something I'd definitely come back for. Also had one of their fresh juices and it was bomb. Super refreshing and clearly made with care :) You don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to enjoy Liquid Earth. As a non vegan I like to try new places and liquid was really good. The food is out of this world for what I thought vegan was so flavorful it was amazing. The people who tended on us were very friendly and knowledgeable about their products, they were able to modify our drinks perfectly. I was in Baltimore for a conference and was so thrilled to discover Liquid Earth! It can be difficult to find good vegan food when traveling, but I had a fantastic meal here. The BBQ pulled tofu sandwich was amazing and tasted just like the real thing (or at least what I remember it tasting like!). They also had fresh guacamole that was amaaaaaazing. It's a small, unpretentious but clean and cozy space. The server was very attentive and we loved the Liquid Earth t-shirt about chopping the plants so you didn't have to hear them scream. Hilarious!! I also tried some sort of beet and ginger juice that I would normally not have tried, but it was amazing! Very fresh and delicious. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. read more

The customer service at Liquid Earth is abominable and truly non-existent. The male owner does not like to wear gloves and when asked is nasty. Poor business practice and frankly he is stupid and a complete buffoon to push business away instead of bringing business in. The food is not great. You would do better going to Slutty Vegan which is an Outstanding vegan restaurant. He is not clean. He washed his hands and dried them on his pants. I don't patronize rude business owners with a sub par product/restaurant, mediocre tasting food and highly questionable sanitary practices. Nor do I pay for overly priced, menu items. It's always a pleasure to enjoy a meal here - the inside is very relaxed and chill. The ingredients used to make each menu item are always fresh and the dishes are prepared with care. Nutritious and wholesome, in addition to delicious, the food at Liquid Earth always satisfying. My favorite item on the menu is the Philly Cheese Fake. The salads are good, too. From the abstract wall art, trapezoid seating for 2 (which I highly disliked), and random music selection (Reggae/hip hop/50's music/rock) sets itself apart from the normal scene which is cool. It is very small and intimate seating with low music but the vibes is mostly for a casual low key date or friendly meet up. I'm far from vegan but decided to give the vegan diet a try. The menu is very short pickings. Either soup, sandwiches or apps is mostly available. And for drinks you have specialty smoothies or freshly juiced beverages. I tried the Earth burger which I did opt for the non-vegan cheese (cheddar) and iced Green tea with apples, ginger and something else. However, I did get to sample some of the raved about Phili Cheesephake. The food and drinks were out of this world! I was jedi mind tricked as I couldn't believe this was all vegetables but tasted like an actual burger! The portions were big enough not to need a side that's why I guess they don't have any. I legit needed a knife to cut the burger into a graspable size lol. The representation resembled a burger and cheesesteak exactly. The smells were heavenly. The cheese steak tasted like a chicken cheesesteak and had all the fixins. The tofu was seasoned very well in both dishes. Just be prepared for a mess these aren't a I wanna be cute meals. If so get a salad or some soup lol. The tea was good a little heavy on the ginger but besides that was real soothing and you tasted every fruit juice in the drink with no pulp residue. The server was nice, attentive and not overbearing. It could be a little pricey depending on what you order. But can you really put a pricetag on nutritionally good food? The portion and taste makes up for it big time. I would definitely come back. This area is Fells point so expect to circle a few blocks looking for parking depending on the day and time. read more

How many veg restaurants have sandwiches, smoothies, salads and juices? Many. How many veg restaurants separate out the raw from the cooked? A few. How many separate the raw smoothies from the other smoothies? I don't know of any others except this place - cool! However, there is no marking system on the menu for what is vegan or gluten-free. Fret not! Ask your waiter, and you will find out easily. Besides, everything here can be made vegan - it's really just the cheese that makes items (sammies) non-vegan. The gluten issue can easily be resolved by.... umm... choosing salads, appetizers and beverages, as well as the raw items? When dining here, do yourself a favor and order juice first, then food, and if lucky, have room for a smoothie dessert! There are so many choices though, so be ready to dedicate some focused time to figure out what you want. Nachos? Sandwich? Raw entree? I am drooling thinking about the food here. The salads are so beautiful, smoothies so tasty... And I like that there are nachos! Staff here are on point with the menu items and ingredients. It is a cozy cafe that has all hands on deck working to make your juice and orders. So you know it's freshly prepared.
