This is the original bun with cream cheese icing.
Toccara F.

I've been trying to get to this establishment for the longest. I'm so sad it didn't meet my expectations as the bun was hard and very oily. I ordered two and I had to discard the one in the picture and I still have the other untouched in my vehicle. What's crazy is I was gonna suggest the young lady to mix the cream before putting on the bun because I seen the separation of oil and cream in the container but hey that's not my job. I'm paying for a service that wasn't good at all.

Rolls were nice and hot. The location was clean. Great customer service. It was pouring rain and closing time was approaching, they allowed us to wait until the rain settled.

hazelnut and almond cinnamon roll
Swapna Y.

I preserved a classic and a creat your own. For the create your own, I asked for hazelnut spread with almond toppings. I was able to receive my tolls very quickly and the staff was friendly. There was plenty of parking available. The tolls were soft but just ok to me. I personally enjoyed cinnabon texture a little more. I expected the hazelnut to have more of a chocolate nutty flavor to it and it just tasted like a lot of sugar and butter. I didn't get the hazelnut flavor at all. I would try them again but kick of in their recommended flavor combinations.

Every time I come here the service is stellar! I got a create your own bun with lemon flavored icing. Service was polite and fast. The store was very clean.

I didn't think plant-based and cinnamon rolls went together so well! They were so good, I didn't bother to stop for a picture before I basically inhaled them. I ordered the Old Skool with cream cheese frosting and a caramel apple pie roll. Mannn, run to it! Do not walk. Do not pass go and collect $200.

Cookie butter Roll - special

Cinnaholic never does me wrong This was my first time at the gambrills location as I normally go to canton and this was pretty good. It was a bit busy as we came on Mother's Day but the service was still good and friendly. The area was clean and the workers were attentive I ordered the special cookie butter roll and I added caramel and pecans. It was really good I liked the flavors as It blended well since the biscoff cookies have a cinnamon taste to It and burnt caramel flavor. They should make cookie butter frosting a regular in my opinion

I call this place the subway of cinnamon rolls. Very friendly greeting when you walk in and you get their full attention. Went on a not so busy night so service was rather quick. I ordered the campfire smores. Taste just like a inside out smores sandwich. Every bite was amazing.

Chocolate Overload
Rae M.

We visited Cinnaholic after leaving the movies and soon as we walked through the doors, the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls hit us in the face! Mmmmmm....cinnamon rolls! Located between the Red Robin's and the Nando's in Waugh Chapel Towne Center, Cinnaholic is the new kid on the block that's a welcomed dessert to choose from. They specialize in customizable cinnamon rolls, cookies and brownies. We were greeted very warmly by the owner behind the register where we ordered the caramel apple pie cinnamon roll, the cookie monster cinnamon roll, and the chocolate overload cinnamon roll. We were asked if we were loyalty point members and I said we were newbies, so no. She didn't follow-up or explain how to become loyalty members, so I'm assuming it wasn't important enough to let us know. That was kind of a bummer, especially since I said I was a newbie, but whatever. We were told it was going to be an 8 minute wait for the rolls to be made. I would offer a suggestion of either getting a microphone or moving to the front to say the names of the customers when the cinnamon rolls are completed, because it's rather difficult to hear with customers talking and the awesome playlist of music playing on the speakers. Kudos to the awesome playlist! After snagging our rolls, we took them home and tried them out. Their are a few tables inside to eat, for those who can't wait to give them a try. I absolutely loved the caramel apple cinnamon roll. I kind of wished the apples were cooked and not just sliced and topped. The chocolate overload gave me all of the chocolate I was lacking in life. I also feel all of the rolls could've stayed in the oven longer. The centers weren't cooked long enough and they were all a bit too light for our liking. All and all, we're glad we gave them a try because they were really tasty. The service was great and the rolls were awesome, just a few things we noticed that could've been better. I love a good cinnamon roll, but probably won't be here too often. My treadmill and weight goals won't allow it.

I had been hearing a lot about thus place so I decided to try it for myself. Okay so when we walked in there were no other customers. it was really nice and clean the smell of the cinnamon rolls was amazing. We were greeted by a really nice young man he could tell that we were over whelmed so he asked was it our first time and we said yes and told us to take our time. We decided on the Banana pudding roll and the Apple pie. The Banana pudding roll was really good it was so soft and warm it had a banana flavored icing and bits of short bread cookies and fresh banana. I ate the whole thing in two settings. The Caramel Apple pie roll was equally as good. It was also warm it was topped with fresh apples pecans pie crumble caramel sauce and caramel frosting. I wish the roll was a little bigger for the price. The reason for the 4 stars was due to the fact that I had to find out through the comments that they have a reward program as well as a App I feel like the cashier should have let us know that especially because it was our first time. Other than that I think it was a great experience I would make a return visit. If you are on the fence try it out for yourself even if it's only once.

Biscoff Cinnamon Bun

Located at the Waugh Chapel shopping center, you could smell the sugary goodness of these vegan cinnamon rolls. Customer service was superb as I ordered the Biscoff Cinnamon Roll. The world famous airplane cookie "its what I call it" was sinfully good with the frosting on the sweet roll. When I see the cookies, I think of the roll. Treat yourself!

I have been wanting to try this place for a very long time. Friday was date night and where did we end up? Here! It was late (almost 9pm). I made it inside before the doors were locked. The staff was friendly and greeted folks as they entered. Since this was my first time here, I ordered the "original" and it didn't disappoint. It was really good. The glaze wasn't overwhelming and had just the right amount of sweetness. I think I'm I was happy to find a complimentary cinnamon roll inside my bag smiling at me! That shall go great with my breakfast thank you!

First time eating at Cinnaholic if you love/like cinnamon rolls this is the place for us. They offer a variety of toppings and the place smells so good. It's clean bright and great customer service. The young ladies were very patient explaining the different toppings, and sizing.

Cookie Monster on a cookie

First time visiting this location which is relatively new. I got my favorite, Cookie Monster on a cookie! Highly recommend as it is very addictive! Tip: if you want to avoid long lines/waiting then it's best to preorder and pick up.

I ordered the following items on Uber Eats: - Curry Puffs - Vegan Nuggets - Salt & Pepper Tofu - Black Pepper Ban Mein w/ Thick Noodles The portion sizes for the main dishes (Salt & Pepper Tofu and Ban Mein) were generous, about 2-3 servings and shareable. Which is pretty amazing considering the Ban Mein was $10 (on Uber Eats). I made sure to try a mix of dishes that both featured and didn't include meat substitutes...I was WOW'd by all of the food! As a meat eater, the vegan beef in the Ban Mein was very well seasoned and the flavor indiscernible from real meat. I was especially shocked by how much I enjoyed the vegan nuggets. They had a slightly nutty flavor (likely due to the oil) and a great texture. The salt & pepper tofu and curry puffs were standard, but good. Overall, the food at this restaurant runs a little spicier than usual American Chinese spots. Flavors like curry and five spice came through more, and two of the dishes I ordered used fresh peppers (instead of just pepper flakes). I loved it and will be ordering again!

Better if potatoes were diced then it's similar to a samosa. Have ordered Thai green curry in the past and I love that. Green beans are good as well. Every thing is served in take out boxes and they have seating if you want to eat there. While I'm not a fan of that they use paper containers and most likely compostable and I probably should find out. Happy we have this restaurant in the DMV.

Over the course of two lunches and dinner offered by Simply Vegan, I can say that Nikevia really topped the charts in terms of wonderful vegan chefs. The multi-course menus were hearty, fresh, FLAVORFUL and delicious without feeling heavy at all. She had a wonderful touch with flavored waters (yes, she even flavors them better than anyone I've known!) and personal service. Both times, the service was impeccable at the bar, and while being formally seated. As I'm not a vegan, I do frequent vegan places in hopes of finally transitioning, so I understand flavor profiles and what to expect/not expect. The salad dressing was a bit skimpy and the croutons were extremely hard. I asked for some honey to add to the sauciness of the dressing, which in hindsight, I should have just asked for more dressing. I've had vegan ceasar salad dressing before that somehow mimicked that anchovie-taste, which is what I expected here. For the soup, I had my mouth ready for a sweet savory taste, but instead it was salty savory which altogether changed my viewpoint on how this soup can be made. I asked for chili oil to give it a little pop. Onto the breakfast burrito - a sight to see! I'm not a breakfast burrito girl, but a friend let me taste her leftovers and I thought I HAD to have my own. At first bite, I can say it was a whole YES. My only ask was more seasoning, and to have cooked the tofu down just a bit more so it didn't give the consistency of a runny egg. I asked for sriracha, chili oil and ketchup to seal the deal. I highly suggest offering at least one of these sauces/oil as a free accoutrement, instead of charging per oz. Ambiance is always warm and inviting. The dark wood gives a homelike vibe and the music is on point. I will definitely be back for the breakfast burrito in hopes of more fun sauces on the side!
