I found this bakery here on yelp. After looking at pictures of previous work on Facebook and Instagram I decided to try her out. I sent the baker, Michelle a picture of a cake my daughter saw online. Michelle set up a cake tasting for us (all of the cakes were amazing) and from there we made the decision. We had a vanilla cake with raspberry and chocolate filling. The cake came out perfect and all of the party guests were blown away!! I'm definitely using this bakery for all of my cakes from now on!

She was a pleasure to work with, reasonably priced, and answered every question I had. The cake was delicious and not dry at all! I will be using her again!

Michelle was the absolute best!!! I called extremely last minute for a cake and 30 cupcakes for a baby shower!!! She knocked it out of the park!!! The flavor was perfect and everyone loved it!!! Found my new bakery!!!!

Michelle was very knowledgeable, down to earth and skilled! She sat up a very intimate wedding tasting for me and my family! And the cake was delicious! BTW: her prices are VERY reasonable! Will be returning for my daughter and fathers bday cakes!

I am so happy with my son's birthday cake. I provided Michelle with a picture of the cake i wanted with some modifications and she made exactly what i wanted. Highly recommend and will be a returning customer.

    a decorated sugar skull

Wow, just wow. I had needed a sugar skull cake for my wife's birthday party. Fiona's knocked it out of the park. And to boot they created a smaller cake that I got to share with my children.

My husband doesn't like coconut, but it was so subtle he couldn't taste it. It was heavenly. It was a generous size for only $2 compared to other bakeries. I would definitely choose the Aloha cookie over any cookie at Crumbl and it's way cheaper too. I also purchased a maple bacon and German chocolate cupcake, which my husband and I split. Both were delicious, however, we thought the bacon was a bit too smoky. I wanted to try the salted caramel, but it wasn't available. Aside from cupcakes and cookies, they also sell brownies, pies, and prepackaged popcorn. They had sample popcorn available, which I took advantage of. I am definitely a huge fan and will be returning.

I happened to come across this bakery, which I AM SO GRATEFUL the universe did so. I placed an order through their online form on Wednesday (at 11:30pm - i said i forgot lol!) for a FRIDAY pick up time. I received a reply from the owner Thursday morning at 9am. We had all the details settled by 12pm that day. I went to pick up my cake and was super impressed! Exactly what I wanted. As for taste of the cake - everyone who had a slice raved on how good it was! So, I think I may have found my go to bakery for birthday cakes / other special occasions. An added bonus - the price point wasn't bad. I paid $80 for a cake that feeds 12-15 people. I've heard other places charge $120. I also loved that my money went to a locally owned business.

The new location is bright, clean, and has plenty of room to browse their cakes and baking supplies. The cake and cupcakes were fresh, moist, and exactly what I expected. Their designs are always top-tier, and more importantly, they taste just as good. The staff was friendly, and my order was ready on time. It's nice to see a longtime local business continue to THRIVE. In my opinion, they are still the "IT GIRL!!!"

Oof, I know what it's like to be on a short staffed team and I thank y'all for maintaining a decent respectable atmosphere in spite of the circumstances. Despite that, what you got cooking back there, oh it's something good!!! I look forward to visiting again.

La Espiga De Oro translates in English to Spike Of Gold…read more Whilst this immediately makes me think of the Golden Spike that connected the transcontinental railroad in the middle of the nation, and was immediately stolen by thieves (probably seconds after the ceremonial driving in); I'm assuming in Spanish that this might be a phrase similar to "Struck Gold", but to be honest, I'm not really sure. If it is similar to "Striking Gold", I would definitely say that this Bakery is very aptly named. It's your typical Latin bakery with fist-sized and larger pastries in large glass shelving units with glass doors on the front that are self-serve. You take a large plastic Mens size shoe box and a set of tongs and just go to town. And you really go to town cause everything is like 55-85 cents. It's stupid cheap. They also have hot foods. My goal right now is to make back to try the hot food bar, but we did decide to try one of the tamales while we were there. First of all, it's the largest tamale I've ever had. It's about the size of a small burrito. It also happens to be one of the most delicious tamales I've ever eaten. 2 large chunks of fork tender pork are hiding beneath the mass of impeccably seasoned masa along with some veg and sauce. I get this and a plastic box of assorted pastries. The pan de queso is delicious. It is the most soft and supple pan de queso I've had, it almost completely falls apart as soon as you take a bite. The cheese flavor is very apparent, and it is balanced. I also try a pineapple layered pastry that is quite delicious, and a soft buttery bread with cheese on the bottom as well. It is REALLY good. I've truly never had Latin pastries that were this good. I haven't had MANY Latin pastries, but these were surely the best out of the few I've had. Can't wait to come back and try more.

I said you have them on your menu, and I pointed them out on the electronic menu board above the register where there's a sign that says "Order here". The cashier couldn't care less. I got the chicken Nachos. The nachos had a white crumbly chees on top, which I assumed to be Cotija cheese, which I am very familiar with. Nope. It was the definitely the dry almost sawdust Kraft pregrated Parmesan "cheese". I thought the chicken would be grilled Pollo. It wasn't. The chicken had the texture of reconstituted freeze dried scrambled eggs. I own a food freeze dryer and I am very familiar with that texture. The yellow cheese sauce was definitely from a can. Skip this place. It's terrible

I enjoyed how fresh and cohesive the flavors were! There's also a variety of pastries offered. These are baked in their Columbia location and brought to Arundel Mills. With all the solid options present, I landed in a pistachio donut! Now, I will say I had a bit higher expectations for the donut. The donut itself was delicious, but I would have appreciated more pistachio throughout the cream in the center or maybe even skipping out on the cream altogether. Overall I think it was certainly worth a try. The matcha, for sure, stole the show! I will be back to try another flavor of matcha and a savory pastry!

This cupcake was 1.00 extra as it was their premium option. The key lime pie was disappointing as the only lime flavor was the drizzle on top, nothing incorporated into the cupcake itself. While I appreciate the beautiful presentation of these cupcakes and those from other similar bakeries, I just find that none of them stand out in flavor beyond what you can purchase at the store and bake at home.
