I would rate my visit an 8/10. Burger was super juicy and the fried egg on top was cooked perfectly. Bun was nice and crispy. Max and cheese was gooey and flavorful. My wife had some downfalls: her avocado burger was a "mayo burger". The proportion of guac to mayo was a little off. Other than that. Went in with high expectations, and I was still blown away by the greatness of their burgers. I got the bacon ranch burger and it was some of the best flavor in a burger. I would definitely go to Chubby's again. All of our food we got was really good and it's in a really good location. This would be a great place to go for date night. They are right next to the mega plex movie theater, the puppy barn, and a couple ice cream places. We got: Jalapeño deluxe burger- highly recommend! Strawberry chicken salad- really good Scones (comes with honey butter dip) Also a good place for families- the kids meal looked like there were lots of good options for children. This restaurant chain has an unassuming exterior that belies the quality of food inside. The first time we ate there, it was simply because we were hungry and it was nearby. That being said- we were so pleasantly surprised by the menu items and the execution of the food that it immediately became our default for anytime we want to eat out, but don't want to have to think too hard about where to go. The menu is casual American fare, but with an emphasis on Southern food like BBQ, fish & chips, po' boys, hush puppies and scones. Having grown up around Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana, I'm pretty familiar with this food and was prepared to be disappointed by what I figured would be a poor man's recreation of the real deal. Y'all should have seen the lone tear of joy that trickled out of my eye when I bit into my first hush puppy! The Carolina BBQ sandwich with pickles and coleslaw tastes just like what I grew up eating, too! It's important that we talk about the peach cobbler. It's simple and to the point; nothing fancy- but it is my favorite thing on the whole menu. I get it every time (served a la mode). I eat it before anything else because I am too excited to wait. It's the perfect ratio of cake to filling. The peaches are just the right texture. It has a gorgeous vanilla aroma. The ice cream melting into it makes my heart skip a beat even just thinking about it now. Another thing to love about it: the recipe is the owner's mom's and his sister is the one who makes it fresh every day. I love that! I really enjoyed the pastrami burger I ordered here. The patty was incredibly juicy and the layers of pastrami added a lot of flavor and size to the burger. We went on a Saturday night, so it was very busy! Service took about the time I'd expect for how busy it was. About 12-15 minutes to get our to go order, but they brought out the shake early, which was nice! This would be a five star review were it not for the fact that they forgot to put bacon on my Cobb salad :-(. I should have gotten the crispy chicken, but I thought the bacon would give enough crunch. Without the bacon, it wasn't a truly satisfying Cobb salad. read more

My wife and I eat here for lunch pretty often because of its proximity to both our jobs. The food is always pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. The service, though, is really unlike any comparable restaurant I've been to. Everyone here is so nice, and makes the experience extraordinary. I've had Chubby's several times at the Saratoga Springs location and had stellar food and service, but the Vineyard location is extremely lacking. I did an online order of a chicken bacon ranch sandwich and beer battered fries. I did not open my order while picking up in store and regret it. My sandwich was missing bacon (quite literally apart of the name of the sandwich), the ranch was the smallest dollop amount with less than a bites worth, and the lettuce was borderline spoiled/soggy and very dark brown in color. The beer battered fries were extremely soggy and lukewarm, and the extra side sauce I had ordered was missing as well. I love Chubby's and understand occasional goofs, but when an order is this messed up it shows a lack of care by kitchen staff. I hope better care can be given in the future to at least delivering basic menu items, if not the usual level of awesome that Chubby's is known for! read more

Their sauces are amazing! And if I'm feeling adventurous, I go for the jalapeño ranch burger. This is A LOT of food. Our favorites: Crispy Southern BBQ sandwich (coleslaw) Chubby's Cheesesteak (zippy horseradish mayo!) Shrimp Po' Boy (snappy shrimp in a soft bun) Any burgers that meet your fancy He likes the battered fries, I like the regular Chicken Strawberry Salad (seasonal strawberries) Shakes (banana cream pie, oh my!) Chicken tenders with ranch or tartar dipping sauce This location is louder than PG and parking isn't as plentiful because they're sharing it with the movie theater, but it's nice to know we have a good place for dinner before or after a movie. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, but they later came to our table to let us know they didn't have any and switched our order. Shouldn't the kitchen have told the cashiers when they were getting close to running out so they would either check or let the customer know there's a limited supply? My chicken tenders were tough (we get them all the time in PG; these seemed maybe over cooked) and the shrimp breading was crispier than PG. read more
