You definitely have to come with an appetite to get your money's worth. The way it works. Is you order on a little iPad type device and you can order up to 10 items every six minutes. You have an hour and a half to eat, which is no problem for me. They have different tiers of meat choices: silver, gold and diamond. My boyfriend chose the silver and after finding that the only non red meat option was actually chicken cartilage, I was able to go with the sushi and sashimi option. We ordered the egg side dish and the truffle fries. The fries tasted like regular fries but they were good. My boyfriend really liked the brisket and prime ribeye. I loved the sushi. It was fresh and they offered hand rolls. The salmon and unagi were my favorites! The sashimi was very flavorful as well. I loved their rice machine and how it would put out portion size of your choice. They also had a really nice lychee slushy that was delicious. The dessert selections were slim, they had some fruit and some ice cream. I think it would've been really cool if they had mochi. The other thing that would've been nice if they had regular chicken instead of cartilage. But I'm really glad I got the sushi because that was really delicious. If you are interested in coming back multiple times, it's probably worth it to get the membership which saves every time you time you come back. It's $28 for a year for two people which seems like a pretty good deal. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, and I loved the whole experience here. Anytime I can get unlimited sushi is a win-win for me, but especially the fact that the quality was so good, and I've never been to an AYCE where they had hand rolls included. Thanks to the amazing server Amanda, we had a wonderful experience today. The environment is full of japan styled culture, very immersive! We tried the silver one ($58 per person), which you can place 10 orders each time, and wait 6 minutes until next run (Total time is 90 mins). The silver one does not have the most premium meat, but still has great selections of wagyu meat! We love the wagyu steak and brisket, the unlimited bubble tea, yogurt with fruit, and garlic enoki mushrooms! My friend and I decided to try this place for the first time and the setup on how your order was quite unique. It's a tier based system, so you got the lowest which is silver than goes up to Gold and so forth. Each tier essentially allowed a greater selection of "premium" cuts of Wagyu. We decided to go with the silver tier and ordered a ton of their Wagyu brisket. Not too overly fatty, but just like any Wagyu, if you're looking lean meat, this place isn't it. They have condiments like salt and sauces to use as dipping and as you order through the tablet system, there is a cool down on frequency of order and how much you can to prevent waste. Their menu is extensive but portions are tiny. They also have a mini bar area to grab side dishes, soups, and rice along with desserts. Staff and our waitress was phenomenal! Date of Visit: 06/14/2025 As a reminder if you do not follow my reviews, I classify Korean BBQ AYCE into 3 categories, Premium (top tier meats), regular (solid value and meats) and "Dirty Korean" (cheap, lower/average quality meat, hit the spot but you better have a bathroom nearby) This place is in the premium category mostly due to their high-end offering of A5 Wagyu meats. It only opened a month ago, but it is already getting pretty busy especially on the weekend. And of course, if a new Korean BBQ joint opens in ATL I have to try it It's ATMOSPHERE/DECO From the giant Samurai statue out front to the Japanese-style roof and Daruma dolls in the lobby, this place is a whole vibe for sure. They have several smaller rooms and most of the tables are booths, but they also do have a few with chairs (which are better for toddlers as the booth benches are too far from the tables for the kids). Each table has a tablet for easy ordering. SERVICE Service was top notch. Our server Meng was a superstar -- she explained the menu, cooked all our meats to perfection, and made sure we never lifted a finger. I literally did not have to cook a single piece of meat myself, which was a nice change. PRICE So this is where it gets a little tricky. They have 3 offerings, Silver, gold and Diamond. As the tiers go up, the price goes up but you also get higher quality meats and more choices, including special meats and special dishes. Those are limited but you get 2 special meats per person and 2 special dishes per person with the diamond tier. The rest of the menu is unlimited, including sushi. Pro Tip: Buy the membership that costs $28 a year and can be used by two people. The membership gives you a discount on each tier and also some points that you can later redeem for food . Honestly the membership pretty much pays for itself on your first visit so if you plan on coming back you should get it. It is also valid at Chubby Cattle Shabu down the road (but not at Wagyu house in midtown) Pricing for the tiers is as follow : Silver $58 (49.99 member price), Gold $ 78 (65 member price) and Diamond $88 (75 member price) FOOD The food was excellent. The special dish and special meats are definitely the best, but those are limited. We really enjoyed the A5 Miyazaki short ribs and the A5 Wagyu Otoro thick cut. As far as the Special dish, the Wagyu Uni Caviar Nigiri was the hit of the party, so tender and tasty. Of the unlimited options, the wagyu tartare, yellowtail carpaccio, Wagyu finger meat, wagyu brisket were our favorite. The only "meh" item was the Iberico pork belly. Not bad, just couldn't compete with the wagyu. No banchan delivered to the table, but there's a self-serve veggie/banchan bar with kimchi, seaweed salad, and more. MISCELLEANOUS They do not have any alcohol yet as they are still waiting for their liquor license, so for now you can get water and soft drinks , however they do have a juice machine and milk tea machine in the middle of the restaurant as well. They do have a self serve rice machine (for real!!), with curry beef and Wagyu sauce sauces. Some of the options such as enoki mushroom or cheese corn are also self serve near the sauce bar. The sauce bar itself is pretty small compared to some other places, but it is sufficient. They do have parking right in front of the restaurant, but I can see it being full on a busy day. The Men's restrooms were clean and well maintained, with a unique all-black design. Overall, this was a great experience, the food was excellent, service was 5 stars, I will definitely be back. Lowest is $58/$49.99 and highest is $88/$75 (the second number is membership price). How/what to order - order the highest grade/your top choice meat first. Then you can start ordering other things like hot dish or sushi. There is a wide variety of vegetables, banchan-type dishes, sauces, drinks, etc, in the middle of the venue. We decided to do an easy night and go with silver, and it actually was a lot more than we expected. the meat choices were not only tasty but definitely clear of other kbbq places in the vicinity. The interior is designed with spacious seating, sleek grilling tables, and high-end finishes that elevate the dining experience plus the sound of sizzling grills. The highlight is the wagyu. There are three tiers: The silver ($58), the gold ($78), and the diamond ($88), and members pay less than non-members. We chose the gold tier, including the special meats one per person (we picked the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Short Rib and the A5 Top Blade) and the special dishes one per person (we picked the Wagyu Uni Caviar Nigiri Raw and A5 Wagyu Handroll). The wagyu and short ribs are beautifully marbled and tender, melt in your mouth. There are unlimited sushi (definitely try Salmon Carpaccio and A5 Wagyu Tartare served with chips-no raw egg), meats (recommended the Wagyu Finger Meat and Wagyu Chunk Eye), and other signature dishes (Wagyu Xiao Long Bao soup). I do not recommend the Wagyu soup-soaked rice. There's an island in the middle of side dishes, milk tea and other beverages (use your cup), Wagyu rice, Wagyu curry, and miso soup. Next to it are cheesy corns, fruits and salads, desserts (do try matcha pudding), and the sauce bar. There are two of these across the road from each other. You kinda need to know because one is broth based cooking and the other is BBQ grill cooking style. So make sure you're at the one you like. Also, do not take any one that doesn't eat beef. It's not worth there money or time. I have two people that eat everything besides beef, so they tried the other offerings but you gotta be honest with your self here. It's not cheap a the other options are like going to a steakhouse not eating beef. It's hard for them to really accommodate you. They usually have chicken or fish, but it's more of an afterthought an nothing wrong with it. I just strongly suggest never to have to do it. Things you should know.. you have a time limit, everything is covered in which ever price selection you choose it's unlimited. But if you order more then you finish you will pay for that as well. It's not complicated they don't give you a whole lot so it's easy to just keep asking for what cut you prefer after you have tried them. But even if you don't eat they charge you to sit there.. which is why I say to make sure the group you're going with understands that and all eat beef. read more

The wait was worth it. I brought my parents to their first Asian style bbq and they were both really impressed. Our waiter Angie was awesome lol she was showing my dad how to use the chop sticks. She was very informative about the menu, really explained the different tiers they had to offer. I went with the gold package and it was above my expectations. The restaurant had a very cozy vibe. This is our first time visiting Chubby Cattle BBQ. I am impressed with the food options, price and our server. The surrounding are is well placed with small rooms separated by beautiful walls. It is interesting that he did not mention the membership until my wife asked. My suggestion is that if you love steak, spend the small amount for the membership it is well worth it. When you visit Chubby Cattle BBQ and asked for June. When you taste Golden Tiers, Miyazaki Wagyu Short Ribs, you'll realize on your first bite of the soft, tender, almost fat free taste of steak is just amazing. All the steak in the menu that comes with your price level are different parts of the Wagyu cow. However, there are so much additional menu option that you pick from. All the items are outstanding.
