The ube cruffin was definitely worth trying. The outside was flaky and crisp, while the inside was soft and layered. I liked that the ube flavor wasn't overpowering, and the topping added just enough sweetness without making the whole thing feel too heavy. It's a pretty rich pastry, so I'd definitely pair it with coffee. Overall, really good and something I'd order again!

Loved my coconut matcha. This looks like a popular place. Its a small stand-alone place in a strip mall. Formerly a Baskin Robbins and a walnut dessert place years ago. Hope it continues to do well.

I was craving a warm coffee after a lab appointment and fasting and came across Chrome coffee. The coffee shop is located in a small plaza on Sepulveda. I came around 7:45am on a Monday morning so it was pretty busy but the line moves fast. They were fully staffed so that also helped with getting drinks out faster. I was interested in the banana cream latte but was informed that it's only available iced so the friendly cashier suggested the Chrome latte or the seasonal pumpkin spice. The Chrome latte has brown sugar and cacao so it sounded very warm and cozy so I opted for that with oat milk. The drink was just as I had hope-sweet, cozy, and the flavors were balanced nicely. They had a nice spread of pastries and I was so tempted to get one but I controlled myself. The coffee shop has a long community table in the middle with some seating by the wall and around the windows. I'm not sure how many outlets they have if you want to work or study there but it's a nice place to have coffee with a friend.

Matcha is good Wait is not there Quick Easy Good vibes Good spot Easy parking I go again for sure Great location

My favorite coffee / matcha in the South Bay! Chrome Coffee exceeds all the hype. Quality drinks, modern ambiance, and friendly service. The baked goods are also delicious and fresh. My go to has been the coconut matcha. It has just the right amount of sweetness and has been refreshing in this LA heat. The best in the South Bay and my favorite in all of LA, highly recommend!

Banana Cream Matcha (matcha + milk + agave + banana cream + cinnamon - $7.25)

Chrome Coffee Studio is a new Asian-inspired coffee shop in the South Bay that specializes in matcha and creative espresso drinks (coffee beans are sourced from Stereoscope Coffee). The coffee shop recently had a collaboration with online influencer POV Husband for the POV Matcha pop-up in August 2026 and there was a long waiting line wrapped around the block. I came here on a casual Saturday afternoon and there was a minimal wait. [Parking]: Easy and free strip mall parking. [Atmosphere]: There are one long table, one bar table, and bench seating with about 20+ seats inside the shop. There are two small outdoor tables just outside of the shop. [Menu]: According to one of the posted metal plaques, some of the signature drinks are Chrome Latte or Matcha, Cream Top, Cold Brew Latte, Banana Cream Latte (Espresso or Matcha), Coconut Matcha, and Hojicha Cream Top. *** Banana Cream Matcha (matcha + milk + agave + banana cream + cinnamon - $7.25): Excellent banana cream as it had a really strong flavor. While the matcha portion was watery, the matcha flavor remained strong. Once the entire drink was stirred, the drink tasted a bit more balanced. *** A solid matcha shop in the South Bay, but their cream is quite sweet and I would get it at 75% sweetness instead.

Came here on a Saturday morning and wasn't pleasantly surprised the wait wasn't too long. There wasn't much seating inside though. I tried the chrome and banana lattes and I felt the banana wasn't overly sweet, I really liked the cold foam on the chrome one too! The coffee was pretty solid, the baristas were all friendly as well. My only issue with this cafe is that the line wrapped around the store, but the only menu faced the door away from the line or right up at the counter. When waiting that long, I feel it helps to actually see the menu before I order and wish it was more accessible. The one menu on the wall was not the full menu just the featured drinks which was somewhat helpful.

Kayla Y.

Small parking lot in a plaza, smaller cafe. The downside is if it gets busy, it can get quite crowded. However, service is usually pretty quick. There's seating areas along the front windows and along the wall, some seating outside, and some seating in the middle. And ofc the furniture reflecting the name, chrome. I find that it difficult to find a banana cream top that tastes like banana. But I was impressed by how good it was! I was telling my partner that it's a pretty popular spot and he didn't understand until he tried the banana cream top matcha loooool. I'd def come back just for the banana cream top matcha! Lol

Maruko X.

Ambiance: the trendy coffee shop is located at a strip mall with limited shared parking, it's often quite packed and loud inside, expect a long waiting line during peak hours Service: place the order at the counter and wait for it's prepared near the other side Drink: they have classic and store special coffee and matcha drinks Chrome Latte - **** Espresso, Milk, Brown Sugar, House Cream, Cacao, creamy and refreshing taste, recommend Price: decent quality and reasonable price, expect around $7 per drink

Allison W.

One of the best coffee shops in the South Bay! It's a little coffee shop in a plaza, with a sort of cool girl aesthetic and great branding. The space is a little small for the demand of this shop & the parking can be less than ideal. Matcha is known to be light and sweet and their banana cream matcha is nice and light and quite strong banana in a good way. Their ube cold foam also balances the perfect amount of nutty sweetness and cream. I went for their most recent POV husband event and this custom drink for the event was by far their best (simple agave vanilla cold foam matcha) and I hope they bring it back for the permanent menu

I came in on a Wednesday around noon. Very short line and drinks were made super fast! I got a matcha latte (easy ice) and a banana matcha latte (easy ice). I also got a cookie and a pastry. Total came out to $25 which is average imo. Pros: The drinks came out really fast and the line moved quickly. Their large chocolate chip cookie was really good and at $4 I felt like it was well worth it. They had Kouign Amann which can be hard to find around here because it's more of a niche pastry. Cons: The matcha itself was very light on flavor, not the type of bold matcha you'd expect in a latte. The banana matcha is REALLY sweet. I like my drinks sweet and always get 100% sugar in boba, but this was too sweet. They also put way too much cinnamon on top and it overpowered the entire drink. The matcha latte was given to me at only 70% full and still consisted of half ice. There was very little actual matcha latte in there which was super disappointing. I understand I ordered light ice, but they gave the normal amount of ice and shorted the drink quite a bit. For these reasons, I probably won't be returning to Chrome Coffee for their drinks, but will return for the pastries. There are so many options nearby with better matcha drinks.

I was quite surprised by how good the matcha was. Dear I say the best matcha latte I've had in the South Bay in a while. I'm personally an enjoyer of sweet matcha so the chrome matcha was really yummy. The store is cute and the service is good as well. They whipped out my drink as soon as I was done paying which was great. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a sweet little matcha drink

Number 6 in line to get my free matcha drink and POV merchandise

Rangie T.

So I came here because of a social media post that I saw and I have never been here so I figured why not get two birds with one stone. I arrived around 10:30 am and I was top 10, so it was good I got here earlier than originally planned. Since I had a few hours before the special pop-up event with the special guests, I needed some coffee. After talking to some people in line on what is good here, I decided on the banana cream latte and it was a good choice. I asked for it to be less sweet and it was perfect. I did not need to do anything to it. After the three snd a half hour wait, it was time for the event. It was well worth the wait as I got the complimentary Matcha drink, choice of POV_Husband Merch, and pictures with the husband and wife Social Media Influencers. As for Chrome Coffee Studio, if you like matcha drinks or real good robust flavor coffee drinks hot or iced, this place is worth the try. Do not get discouraged if you see a long line because they are fast, friendly and efficient.

Chrome Coffee used to live up to all the hype you'd hear from influencers when they first opened. Their specialty drinks, especially the Chrome Latte were genuinely good and worth the visit. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I'm not sure if it's because of their popularity or the constant long lines, but the quality of their lattes has definitely gone downhill. The one I had recently tasted like watered-down espresso topped with equally watered-down cloud foam. For the price they charge, that's just not something I'd be willing to pay for again. read more

There seems to be a new coffee place opening up every second haha. Seen this place and decided to pull up. My sister bought me this drink, I think it's the banana cream one since it's taste like banana but it is fire. Inside looks cute and neat. This place is right new to first flight too. Like god damn there be so many coffee places now. But that is a good thing. Coffee is so fire. Imma pull up here again, or first flight, or somewhere else (・・)ノ. This place is a W read more

Finally, a coffee spot in Torrance that's actually worth going out of your way for! You can immediately tell the coffee beans and matcha are top quality -- every drink is chef's kiss. You know it's good when you find yourself coming back three times in one week... and noticing the line getting longer each visit. My top 3 drinks: Banana Cream Matcha Chrome Latte Strawberry Yuzu Matcha The owner, Jake, is super welcoming and clearly put a lot of thought into both the drinks and the interior. The space has such a clean, modern vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Chrome Studio Coffee is definitely my new go-to spot. read more

Came here a couple of weeks ago and got the Banana Cream Latte and it was delicious. The cream she mixed with the coffee has the greatest taste and the banana cream tastes like banana bread. The service was quick and my friend ordered the chrome latte, which he wanted hot and they were able to make it no problem. He said his latte was good as well and gave him energy. Not impressed sadly. Was super excited to try as my husband and I have our day time dates triweekly at our local coffee shops. Waited in a super long line, coffee was okay but better at other shops. The attitude of the staff at the counter was a turn off, very rude when I misread the menu asking for a coconut latte. (They only have coconut matcha) my daughter ordered the strawberry milk and the strawberry milk was just mashed strawberries with ice and milk added- this means that it just tastes like milk probably would change that recipe tbh read more

The guy taking orders was very customer friendly. However the barista was very confrontational and not accommodating. At all. That being said the pastries were good and the coffee was acceptable. I registered an account on yelp PURELY to write about how much I love this place. It's my second home. Chrome Coffee Studio is doing something amazing. There's no better place in the South Bay to get a HOME RUN Coffee or Matcha experience, complete with a super chill atmosphere and pastries that are out of this world. The owner is the coolest guy on the planet, and he's there all the time, making every single one of his customers feel like family. The thing that keeps me and my wife coming back (besides the unbeatable drink taste and quality) is the warm authentic service. This is key. Every other coffee spot is staffed with people who do not care, put zero effort into the experience, and look like they hate their jobs. But at Chrome? Everybody is stoked to help you have a great experience, whether you're chilling there doing work on your laptop, or stopping by to grab a drink to go. It's love all around, which speaks volumes about the business. Recommended drinks for first timers: Chrome Matcha or the Banana Cream Latte. Unbeatable taste, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won't find any other place like it. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but if you like real coffee or matcha, this place is not for you. If you like what taste like a milkshake with a hint of coffee or matcha, then you'll love this. I got the banana matcha latte and my husband got the chrome latte. We both didn't realize these drinks are by default iced considering a latte anywhere else is by default hot. Whatever, our fault for not asking. However, I asked for less sweet and it was still an extremely sweet drink. All the cream and milk masked any matcha flavor. My husband's chrome latte literally tasted like a milkshake with the smallest hint of coffee. I would not return. A gave 2 stars for the friendly service. read more

What? They try to be cool by having a flashy stereo system and having some of the newer trendy drinks but don't live up to their own standard. I walked in and was greeted gruffly. No need to say it if it isn't sincere. The person then barked it again as if demanding an answer simply because I was looking at the menu and didn't respond immediately. I ordered the banana cream latte. It came out even before I was done paying, meaning it was sitting in the fridge. You want fast service, but anyone who knows coffee knows that an espresso-based drink has to be freshly pulled to maintain its quality. The total was more than the same drink I got in Beverly Hills. read more

I came later in the afternoon and found empty tables by the entrance. That is where I discovered the "no laptop zone" signs and that some of the tables are reserved. I'm unsure how that works. I ended up ordering an iced chai latte, and I thought it tasted pretty good. I would say it honestly that it is in my top 3. It has the kick of spice from the chai and it is honestly not that sweet. They offer bakery items, cold pastries along with the drinks they serve. Customer service was straight-forward. Nothing amazing. The environment is pretty quiet for the most part. I couldn't even hear them when they called out my number. Ironically, I was able to hear everyone's except for mine. The plaza is pretty horrific for parking. There are a LOT of businesses in the plaza so it gets full quickly. Also, the spots are pretty tight so be careful about door dings. They have restrooms with no code, 2 stalls for women.

You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food and drinks. As for the ambiance, it's perfect for those who want to hang out and catch up with friends/family or to study. When I visited, there were easily 5 other groups and individuals studying here. I have a big soft spot for banana flavored items. A BIG SOFT SPOT. Banana Cream Pie Latte - this one carries the biggest punch for banana lovers. Banana cream the entire way from start to finish. Not too sweet. Awesome foam top too. I highly recommend drinking these without the straw. Foam top drinks are best appreciated when you get a nice 50:50 ratio of the foam and drink. Banana Matcha Latte - the name speaks for itself. It's a nice mixture of both. So if you're looking to feel a little healthier with the matcha element, then go for it. This was probably the prettiest drink of the 3 that we had. Americano - delicious and got the job done here. I naturally enjoy Ethiopian and Colombian beans. I brew them often at home. I was definitely wide awake after these drinks lol Strawberrynana Waffle - If you LOVE belgian-style waffles like me, then you'll find yourself ordering this again and again. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough to easily go through 2 or 3 of these plates if you're crazy enough. Banana Walnut Honey Bread - the best for last! I really loved eating brick toast growing up. There were so many stores back in the day that sold them, and now I can't find them as easily. In fact, Caffe Bene is the only place in the South Bay that I know that sells them. This one brought me back to the past and put a gigantic smile on my face. Delicious, perfectly sweet, balanced, and finished wanting more. Highly recommend!

I did like that besides drinks they have a good menu for food. It was honestly kind of hard to decide what to get. Originally, I had ordered the barbecue chicken bowl, but my man asked me to change it to the Poké bowl because my son loves poke. I did change that and the presentation on that was super cute. I opened it up just to take a picture. I didn't realize there was no rice on here, but that's because it's a poke salad not bowl so that was my mistake. I definitely feel like I needed rice with this which you can order on the side. The poke was pretty good. But I feel like it was kind of expensive for what it is. Maybe if it was $15 versus 17. I could definitely get a Poké bowl with way more toppings for about $17. But the poking itself was tasty. If you're looking for a healthier alternative, this is good. Since it is an actual poke salad I'll still rated a 4.5 out of five. It also came with a scoop of Mac salad, which was a little bit on the sweeter side. We got three drinks. My son got the strawberries smoothie which he didn't even get to drink until we got home since he fell asleep. My man got a shake of some sort which he said was really good. I got the Biscoff shake. But I did add Boba to it. We left on the road and I drink that, but it was missing my Boba which the sticker also showed that it had. I think most people wouldn't add Boba to a shake so they forgot. We were already on the freeway so I had called to ask for a refund for that. They were very helpful and able to refund me that in a little bit more. I appreciate that since we came from out of town and we were exhausted and already stuck in traffic. The Biscoff shake itself was actually really delicious, but yes, I was just missing that Boba. The service was great, and the fact that they did still help me out after we left, I appreciate that very much so this is a spot I would return to you in the future when I'm up in the area.

Chrome Coffee Studio is a small, modern cafe that focuses on creative drinks, especially matcha and specialty lattes. We walked into a trendy, minimalist space with a younger, cafe-hopping kind of energy that makes it a nice stop whether you are grabbing a drink to go or looking for a cozy spot to slow down for a bit. The interior is clean and thoughtfully designed, with a layout that feels intentional without being cold, and the seating arrangement accommodates both quick stops and longer visits. The standout here is definitely their matcha menu. The Banana Cream Matcha is one of the more unique options, combining a creamy topping with the matcha in a way that balances the earthy flavor with a sweeter, dessert-like finish. We tried it and found the cream added a rich texture that made the drink feel more like a treat rather than just a regular latte. Their Chrome Matcha and Chrome Latte are also popular choices, especially if you like the cream-top style drinks, and the agave-based sweetness adds a slightly different touch compared to typical cafe sweeteners. The matcha itself is well balanced, with the earthy notes coming through without being overpowering, and the cream top adds a layer of richness that ties the drink together. The pastries are worth checking out too, especially the large croissants. We grabbed an almond croissant and a matcha croissant, both of which paired well with the drinks and made the visit feel more like a full cafe stop rather than just a quick coffee run. The croissants were buttery and flaky, with the matcha version offering a subtle green tea flavor that complemented the drinks nicely without being overly sweet. The staff adds to the experience with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and even when there was a line, it moved fairly quickly. The team handled the steady flow of customers with efficiency, and the drinks came out without much delay. The overall pace of the visit stayed comfortable, and we never felt rushed even as the shop filled up. Chrome Coffee Studio is a great spot if you enjoy matcha, creative lattes, and cafes that put extra thought into both presentation and flavor. It is the kind of place where the drinks feel more considered than a standard coffee shop order, and the combination of quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a welcoming space makes it worth returning to when you are in the mood for something a little more special. read more

I stopped by Chrome Coffee Studio recently and it instantly earned a spot on my favorites list. From the moment I walked up, the place had such a great energy. The outdoor seating was buzzing, the sun was out, and the whole space had this relaxed but stylish vibe that just makes you want to sit down and stay awhile. It feels like the kind of café that becomes a regular weekend ritual. I ordered the Chrome Latte, and it was seriously excellent. The balance was perfect--smooth, creamy, and rich without being overly sweet. You can tell they care about quality and how the drink is put together. It's the kind of latte where you take the first sip and immediately know you made the right choice. What really stood out though was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference. The service felt genuine and upbeat, not rushed or transactional. Great coffee, great people, and an amazing vibe all around. Chrome Coffee Studio is absolutely worth the visit. read more

So... is this place worth the wait and the hype? YES!!!! Chrome Coffee Studio absolutely delivers, especially when it comes to their signature drinks. If you're into coconut and matcha, the coconut matcha is pure harmony in your mouth--this smooth, nutty, creamy blend that somehow feels both refreshing and indulgent at the same time (and no, not like that lol). The space itself is sleek, open, and modern--definitely aesthetically on point. The only downside is that it can feel a bit overtaken by the crowd of people waiting to order, which says a lot about how popular it is. Still, the energy works. There's always jamming music, a great vibe, and a solid lineup of amazing pastries to round things out. The staff is clearly hustling the entire time, doing their best to keep things moving and get drinks out quickly despite the rush--and it shows. Bottom line: come for the drinks, stay for the vibe, and just be ready to wait a bit. It's worth it. read more

I had such a great experience at Chrome Coffee Studios! I tried their Coconut Water Matcha, and it was absolutely amazing, super refreshing, smooth, and creamy. Honestly, one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had. What really surprised me, though, is that my brother, who's on the spectrum and usually very particular about what he likes, loved it too. He loved it so much. He didn't want to share . That really says something. The service here is top-notch. Even though the line was long, it moved quickly and the staff was friendly, patient, and super helpful. They went out of their way, which I really appreciated. Checked out Chrome Coffee recently and honestly really enjoyed it. I ordered the banana cream latte half sweet and it was perfect. A lot of places either make flavored drinks way too sweet or you can barely taste the flavor, but this one was balanced perfectly. Super smooth and easy to drink. The shop itself had a really good vibe too clean, welcoming, and just a nice spot to hang out for a bit. Staff was friendly and the drink came out quick. I've been here a couple of times, and the staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere and service are definitely reasons to stop by. On this visit, I ordered an iced pour-over using their Ecuador beans by Felix Morocho. It tasted a little under-extracted to me, but it was still a pretty good cup overall. The flavors lined up well with the listed tasting notes, and I enjoyed the coffee enough that I'd consider picking up a bag to brew at home. My main hesitation is the price. At $11 for an iced pour-over, it's pretty steep compared with what I'm used to paying. When I think about getting multiple brews out of a 250g bag ($30 is the average cost for this coffee) at home, it makes that single-cup price harder to justify. I understand that you're also paying for the preparation, service, and cafe experience, but for me, the cup didn't quite feel worth the price tag. Overall, Junia is a pleasant place to visit, with welcoming staff and coffee I enjoyed despite the slightly under-extracted brew. I'd stop in occasionally, but at that price, I probably wouldn't make it a regular coffee stop.
