The ube cruffin was definitely worth trying. The outside was flaky and crisp, while the inside was soft and layered. I liked that the ube flavor wasn't overpowering, and the topping added just enough sweetness without making the whole thing feel too heavy. It's a pretty rich pastry, so I'd definitely pair it with coffee. Overall, really good and something I'd order again!
Loved my coconut matcha. This looks like a popular place. Its a small stand-alone place in a strip mall. Formerly a Baskin Robbins and a walnut dessert place years ago. Hope it continues to do well.
I was craving a warm coffee after a lab appointment and fasting and came across Chrome coffee. The coffee shop is located in a small plaza on Sepulveda. I came around 7:45am on a Monday morning so it was pretty busy but the line moves fast. They were fully staffed so that also helped with getting drinks out faster. I was interested in the banana cream latte but was informed that it's only available iced so the friendly cashier suggested the Chrome latte or the seasonal pumpkin spice. The Chrome latte has brown sugar and cacao so it sounded very warm and cozy so I opted for that with oat milk. The drink was just as I had hope-sweet, cozy, and the flavors were balanced nicely. They had a nice spread of pastries and I was so tempted to get one but I controlled myself. The coffee shop has a long community table in the middle with some seating by the wall and around the windows. I'm not sure how many outlets they have if you want to work or study there but it's a nice place to have coffee with a friend.
Matcha is good Wait is not there Quick Easy Good vibes Good spot Easy parking I go again for sure Great location
My favorite coffee / matcha in the South Bay! Chrome Coffee exceeds all the hype. Quality drinks, modern ambiance, and friendly service. The baked goods are also delicious and fresh. My go to has been the coconut matcha. It has just the right amount of sweetness and has been refreshing in this LA heat. The best in the South Bay and my favorite in all of LA, highly recommend!
Chrome Coffee Studio is a new Asian-inspired coffee shop in the South Bay that specializes in matcha and creative espresso drinks (coffee beans are sourced from Stereoscope Coffee). The coffee shop recently had a collaboration with online influencer POV Husband for the POV Matcha pop-up in August 2026 and there was a long waiting line wrapped around the block. I came here on a casual Saturday afternoon and there was a minimal wait. [Parking]: Easy and free strip mall parking. [Atmosphere]: There are one long table, one bar table, and bench seating with about 20+ seats inside the shop. There are two small outdoor tables just outside of the shop. [Menu]: According to one of the posted metal plaques, some of the signature drinks are Chrome Latte or Matcha, Cream Top, Cold Brew Latte, Banana Cream Latte (Espresso or Matcha), Coconut Matcha, and Hojicha Cream Top. *** Banana Cream Matcha (matcha + milk + agave + banana cream + cinnamon - $7.25): Excellent banana cream as it had a really strong flavor. While the matcha portion was watery, the matcha flavor remained strong. Once the entire drink was stirred, the drink tasted a bit more balanced. *** A solid matcha shop in the South Bay, but their cream is quite sweet and I would get it at 75% sweetness instead.
Came here on a Saturday morning and wasn't pleasantly surprised the wait wasn't too long. There wasn't much seating inside though. I tried the chrome and banana lattes and I felt the banana wasn't overly sweet, I really liked the cold foam on the chrome one too! The coffee was pretty solid, the baristas were all friendly as well. My only issue with this cafe is that the line wrapped around the store, but the only menu faced the door away from the line or right up at the counter. When waiting that long, I feel it helps to actually see the menu before I order and wish it was more accessible. The one menu on the wall was not the full menu just the featured drinks which was somewhat helpful.
Small parking lot in a plaza, smaller cafe. The downside is if it gets busy, it can get quite crowded. However, service is usually pretty quick. There's seating areas along the front windows and along the wall, some seating outside, and some seating in the middle. And ofc the furniture reflecting the name, chrome. I find that it difficult to find a banana cream top that tastes like banana. But I was impressed by how good it was! I was telling my partner that it's a pretty popular spot and he didn't understand until he tried the banana cream top matcha loooool. I'd def come back just for the banana cream top matcha! Lol
Ambiance: the trendy coffee shop is located at a strip mall with limited shared parking, it's often quite packed and loud inside, expect a long waiting line during peak hours Service: place the order at the counter and wait for it's prepared near the other side Drink: they have classic and store special coffee and matcha drinks Chrome Latte - **** Espresso, Milk, Brown Sugar, House Cream, Cacao, creamy and refreshing taste, recommend Price: decent quality and reasonable price, expect around $7 per drink
One of the best coffee shops in the South Bay! It's a little coffee shop in a plaza, with a sort of cool girl aesthetic and great branding. The space is a little small for the demand of this shop & the parking can be less than ideal. Matcha is known to be light and sweet and their banana cream matcha is nice and light and quite strong banana in a good way. Their ube cold foam also balances the perfect amount of nutty sweetness and cream. I went for their most recent POV husband event and this custom drink for the event was by far their best (simple agave vanilla cold foam matcha) and I hope they bring it back for the permanent menu
I came in on a Wednesday around noon. Very short line and drinks were made super fast! I got a matcha latte (easy ice) and a banana matcha latte (easy ice). I also got a cookie and a pastry. Total came out to $25 which is average imo. Pros: The drinks came out really fast and the line moved quickly. Their large chocolate chip cookie was really good and at $4 I felt like it was well worth it. They had Kouign Amann which can be hard to find around here because it's more of a niche pastry. Cons: The matcha itself was very light on flavor, not the type of bold matcha you'd expect in a latte. The banana matcha is REALLY sweet. I like my drinks sweet and always get 100% sugar in boba, but this was too sweet. They also put way too much cinnamon on top and it overpowered the entire drink. The matcha latte was given to me at only 70% full and still consisted of half ice. There was very little actual matcha latte in there which was super disappointing. I understand I ordered light ice, but they gave the normal amount of ice and shorted the drink quite a bit. For these reasons, I probably won't be returning to Chrome Coffee for their drinks, but will return for the pastries. There are so many options nearby with better matcha drinks.
I was quite surprised by how good the matcha was. Dear I say the best matcha latte I've had in the South Bay in a while. I'm personally an enjoyer of sweet matcha so the chrome matcha was really yummy. The store is cute and the service is good as well. They whipped out my drink as soon as I was done paying which was great. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a sweet little matcha drink
So I came here because of a social media post that I saw and I have never been here so I figured why not get two birds with one stone. I arrived around 10:30 am and I was top 10, so it was good I got here earlier than originally planned. Since I had a few hours before the special pop-up event with the special guests, I needed some coffee. After talking to some people in line on what is good here, I decided on the banana cream latte and it was a good choice. I asked for it to be less sweet and it was perfect. I did not need to do anything to it. After the three snd a half hour wait, it was time for the event. It was well worth the wait as I got the complimentary Matcha drink, choice of POV_Husband Merch, and pictures with the husband and wife Social Media Influencers. As for Chrome Coffee Studio, if you like matcha drinks or real good robust flavor coffee drinks hot or iced, this place is worth the try. Do not get discouraged if you see a long line because they are fast, friendly and efficient.
We had the day off and came by around 9 in the morning on Veterans Day to check out this new coffee shop. Parking was fairly easy and the environment pretty welcoming/ had a clean aesthetic. Customer service was quick and pleasant. The pastry, specifically the banana nut bread, was decent. It wasn't overly sweet. The morning bun was coated in sugar. As far as the coffee, my husband enjoyed his coconut matcha. The chrome latte was okay as well. It was above average experience and we would come again. However, one star was taken off because nothing stood out as "amazing." read more

Yes please & thank you! The coffee and the matcha are superb !!! Service is great & it's a nice little modern coffee shop and it's always packed ... I'm so sad because I wanted to love the matcha croissant so bad but there wasn't enough matcha and it had pistachios in it ... so I think a pistachio croissant would be a better name and just add some pistachio extract in the white chocolate dip ... but i dunno ... will definitely grab a couple pastries next time & let you know what's the best !! Go show this new business some love! read more

I've only tried 2 things on the menu which were: Banana Cream Matcha - I don't like matcha at all, but this drink is amazinggg. I love banana drinks so that also might be why I like it. The matcha isn't sweet like a starbucks matcha, which is a good thing. It has a bit of banana pieces in it, the foam to drink ratio is perfect for me. There's ice but not to where the ice is basically the whole drink. Banana Cream Latte - This one didn't taste anything like banana. The coffee was super strong, which I don't mind but it wasn't what I was expecting a banana cream latte to taste like. If you're looking for a sweet cream latte don't get this. They're always super fast with orders, longest I've waited was maybe 5 minutes. But to be fair, 85% of the time it's packed inside. I've interacted with a different cashier every time I go, just beware that some are full of energy and super sweet, and some are just straight face, no care in the world about what ur saying. Sometimes when you go into a new places, some might ask for a recommendation, when I did all the cashier said to me was, "you can look at the menu and see what you like". Which is funny like ok lol. Maybe he was new or doesn't care about anything but it was just funny as hell, a girl just wanted a good recommendation not a sassy attitude, like be a man. The place is really nice inside, since it's always packed you might find yourself standing unless you are one of those people who get there early. Cute wooden seats, and window facing the street. I wouldn't rate any less than a 5 star for now since I've only been there a handful of times and only tried 2 menu items. read more

New trendy coffee shop in the South Bay. It's extremely busy with a long line on a Sunday afternoon. Although the line was long, the staff made the drinks relatively fast (about 5-7 minute wait). The vibe is very Gen Z/Instagrammy. Good service. Drinks are pretty sweet. We ordered the coconut matcha (really yummy), regular matcha latte, & banana cream latte (wish it had more banana cream to enhance the flavor). It's a nice coffee spot to try, but Da Vien coffee is way better. read more

I love my Chrome coffee but today I was a little disappointed. So I was so excited to get my free coffee that I earned by going every morning with my points. I received a QR code telling me that I have a free coffee. So when I get there, I told them that I have a free coffee and they told me that in order to get a free coffee I have to purchase a pastry or other coffee, which makes no sense because if you earn a free coffee you earned by going everyday and add your phone number for points, it's not like I've never been there and want a free coffee. Next time just add on the QR code that we need to purchase in order to get a free item. Otherwise, I love the coffee there. read more

Love this spot! Employees are super nice & helpful. Ambiance is great. Music selection is on point. Plenty of seating. Big windows for natural light to come in. So far I've tried chrome latte, matcha, & banana matcha. Plus my son loves the strawberry milk so I make sure I always get him one when I go get my daily dose of caffeine. read more

Chrome Coffee was cute!! Came here on a Saturday and it was packed even after soft opening not too long ago. The line moved slowly but the drinks came out quickly, so it wasn't too bad. There's plenty of seating and parking was fairly easy as well. Bathrooms in the place make it a decent study spot if you don't mind all the people around. The drinks themselves look yummy and I ordered a chrome latte. Lots of cream and a sweet taste, but you could still taste the quality of the espresso. Overall, it was a great place and I'd go back (on a less busy time/day). read more
A new coffee shop recently opened near my dentist's office, so naturally, I had to check it out. One of the first things I noticed was the ample parking, which is definitely a plus. The ambiance is clean, bright, and welcoming, with charming paper lanterns and beautifully limewashed walls that add a cozy, stylish touch. When I arrived, there was a short line to order, but it moved quickly. The space offers plenty of seating for both small and large groups, and it's a great spot to work if you need to. The menu featured a nice variety of drinks, though I didn't see any pastries, possibly sold out due to the time of day. They had some merch for sale The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even gave out free stickers with drink purchases, which was a fun surprise. I ordered the Chrome Matcha with oat milk, a matcha latte topped with matcha foam. It was creamy, nutty, and not too sweet, exactly how I like it. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks. read more

Chrome has good matcha, I was actually impressed with the taste and perfect balance of sweetness. Ive visited a few times now. First time was a fail the parking and line was too much. They do work fast the line can be long but they work similar to Nook, where they'll take your order and call you right away. Overall really good matcha and prices are reasonable! read more

Chrome Coffee Studio is such a new gem! I tried the Chrome Latte and the Banana Crème Matcha -- and wow, the matcha was a 10/10. The banana crème flavor was amazing... not too sweet, with just the right amount of banana. You can tell they really nail their flavor balance. The vibe inside is super minimal and aesthetic clean , calming tones, and definitely Instagram-worthy. There's plenty of parking (a big plus!) and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back, especially for that Banana Crème Matcha. Highly recommend! read more

Coffee: Chrome coffee serves THE BEST lattes! I ordered an iced Chrome Latte with Oat Milk. I was hooked when I immediately took the first sip. You taste the house cream which has the perfect amount of sweetness along with the light chocolate taste of the cacao powder. The latte itself is delicious as well because the brown sugar! Balances the drink so well. Service: Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the staff. They are super welcoming and helpful since I didn't know what to order. Interior: Absolutely stunning! Everything is so aesthetically pleasing. I'd like tips from the designer for my own home (lol)! So modern / minimalistic, and I love Japanese-influenced designs as well. This is now my favorite, go-to coffee shop! read more

Banana matcha lovers this matcha really is that girl! It has actual chunks of banana in it and it makes for a delicious matcha latte. My order came out pretty quick, I went in the late afternoon so that may have helped with the morning rush. The music is a little loud for me to be able to study here but I saw other students and meetings happening so I think it could also be a good hangout spot. read more

This place has a cool, lounge vibe with a great mix of music and stylish merch. As soon as you walk up to the counter, you're greeted with a warm, friendly welcome. What immediately caught my eye were the beautiful pastries on display, and they all looked incredible. My partner and I ordered the Chrome Latte and the Matcha Latte, and both were AMAZING. I honestly don't think I've had coffee like that before, which is creamy, thick, and perfectly balanced between the coffee and ice. I'm surprised more coffee shops don't make their drinks like this. It's officially made my list of top-tier coffee spots. I hope they expand to other cities soon. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more
