The ube cruffin was definitely worth trying. The outside was flaky and crisp, while the inside was soft and layered. I liked that the ube flavor wasn't overpowering, and the topping added just enough sweetness without making the whole thing feel too heavy. It's a pretty rich pastry, so I'd definitely pair it with coffee. Overall, really good and something I'd order again!
Loved my coconut matcha. This looks like a popular place. Its a small stand-alone place in a strip mall. Formerly a Baskin Robbins and a walnut dessert place years ago. Hope it continues to do well.
I was craving a warm coffee after a lab appointment and fasting and came across Chrome coffee. The coffee shop is located in a small plaza on Sepulveda. I came around 7:45am on a Monday morning so it was pretty busy but the line moves fast. They were fully staffed so that also helped with getting drinks out faster. I was interested in the banana cream latte but was informed that it's only available iced so the friendly cashier suggested the Chrome latte or the seasonal pumpkin spice. The Chrome latte has brown sugar and cacao so it sounded very warm and cozy so I opted for that with oat milk. The drink was just as I had hope-sweet, cozy, and the flavors were balanced nicely. They had a nice spread of pastries and I was so tempted to get one but I controlled myself. The coffee shop has a long community table in the middle with some seating by the wall and around the windows. I'm not sure how many outlets they have if you want to work or study there but it's a nice place to have coffee with a friend.
Matcha is good Wait is not there Quick Easy Good vibes Good spot Easy parking I go again for sure Great location
My favorite coffee / matcha in the South Bay! Chrome Coffee exceeds all the hype. Quality drinks, modern ambiance, and friendly service. The baked goods are also delicious and fresh. My go to has been the coconut matcha. It has just the right amount of sweetness and has been refreshing in this LA heat. The best in the South Bay and my favorite in all of LA, highly recommend!
Chrome Coffee Studio is a new Asian-inspired coffee shop in the South Bay that specializes in matcha and creative espresso drinks (coffee beans are sourced from Stereoscope Coffee). The coffee shop recently had a collaboration with online influencer POV Husband for the POV Matcha pop-up in August 2026 and there was a long waiting line wrapped around the block. I came here on a casual Saturday afternoon and there was a minimal wait. [Parking]: Easy and free strip mall parking. [Atmosphere]: There are one long table, one bar table, and bench seating with about 20+ seats inside the shop. There are two small outdoor tables just outside of the shop. [Menu]: According to one of the posted metal plaques, some of the signature drinks are Chrome Latte or Matcha, Cream Top, Cold Brew Latte, Banana Cream Latte (Espresso or Matcha), Coconut Matcha, and Hojicha Cream Top. *** Banana Cream Matcha (matcha + milk + agave + banana cream + cinnamon - $7.25): Excellent banana cream as it had a really strong flavor. While the matcha portion was watery, the matcha flavor remained strong. Once the entire drink was stirred, the drink tasted a bit more balanced. *** A solid matcha shop in the South Bay, but their cream is quite sweet and I would get it at 75% sweetness instead.
Came here on a Saturday morning and wasn't pleasantly surprised the wait wasn't too long. There wasn't much seating inside though. I tried the chrome and banana lattes and I felt the banana wasn't overly sweet, I really liked the cold foam on the chrome one too! The coffee was pretty solid, the baristas were all friendly as well. My only issue with this cafe is that the line wrapped around the store, but the only menu faced the door away from the line or right up at the counter. When waiting that long, I feel it helps to actually see the menu before I order and wish it was more accessible. The one menu on the wall was not the full menu just the featured drinks which was somewhat helpful.
Small parking lot in a plaza, smaller cafe. The downside is if it gets busy, it can get quite crowded. However, service is usually pretty quick. There's seating areas along the front windows and along the wall, some seating outside, and some seating in the middle. And ofc the furniture reflecting the name, chrome. I find that it difficult to find a banana cream top that tastes like banana. But I was impressed by how good it was! I was telling my partner that it's a pretty popular spot and he didn't understand until he tried the banana cream top matcha loooool. I'd def come back just for the banana cream top matcha! Lol
Ambiance: the trendy coffee shop is located at a strip mall with limited shared parking, it's often quite packed and loud inside, expect a long waiting line during peak hours Service: place the order at the counter and wait for it's prepared near the other side Drink: they have classic and store special coffee and matcha drinks Chrome Latte - **** Espresso, Milk, Brown Sugar, House Cream, Cacao, creamy and refreshing taste, recommend Price: decent quality and reasonable price, expect around $7 per drink
One of the best coffee shops in the South Bay! It's a little coffee shop in a plaza, with a sort of cool girl aesthetic and great branding. The space is a little small for the demand of this shop & the parking can be less than ideal. Matcha is known to be light and sweet and their banana cream matcha is nice and light and quite strong banana in a good way. Their ube cold foam also balances the perfect amount of nutty sweetness and cream. I went for their most recent POV husband event and this custom drink for the event was by far their best (simple agave vanilla cold foam matcha) and I hope they bring it back for the permanent menu
I came in on a Wednesday around noon. Very short line and drinks were made super fast! I got a matcha latte (easy ice) and a banana matcha latte (easy ice). I also got a cookie and a pastry. Total came out to $25 which is average imo. Pros: The drinks came out really fast and the line moved quickly. Their large chocolate chip cookie was really good and at $4 I felt like it was well worth it. They had Kouign Amann which can be hard to find around here because it's more of a niche pastry. Cons: The matcha itself was very light on flavor, not the type of bold matcha you'd expect in a latte. The banana matcha is REALLY sweet. I like my drinks sweet and always get 100% sugar in boba, but this was too sweet. They also put way too much cinnamon on top and it overpowered the entire drink. The matcha latte was given to me at only 70% full and still consisted of half ice. There was very little actual matcha latte in there which was super disappointing. I understand I ordered light ice, but they gave the normal amount of ice and shorted the drink quite a bit. For these reasons, I probably won't be returning to Chrome Coffee for their drinks, but will return for the pastries. There are so many options nearby with better matcha drinks.
I was quite surprised by how good the matcha was. Dear I say the best matcha latte I've had in the South Bay in a while. I'm personally an enjoyer of sweet matcha so the chrome matcha was really yummy. The store is cute and the service is good as well. They whipped out my drink as soon as I was done paying which was great. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a sweet little matcha drink
So I came here because of a social media post that I saw and I have never been here so I figured why not get two birds with one stone. I arrived around 10:30 am and I was top 10, so it was good I got here earlier than originally planned. Since I had a few hours before the special pop-up event with the special guests, I needed some coffee. After talking to some people in line on what is good here, I decided on the banana cream latte and it was a good choice. I asked for it to be less sweet and it was perfect. I did not need to do anything to it. After the three snd a half hour wait, it was time for the event. It was well worth the wait as I got the complimentary Matcha drink, choice of POV_Husband Merch, and pictures with the husband and wife Social Media Influencers. As for Chrome Coffee Studio, if you like matcha drinks or real good robust flavor coffee drinks hot or iced, this place is worth the try. Do not get discouraged if you see a long line because they are fast, friendly and efficient.
I had driven by CHROME COFFEE STUDIO so many times and the sign caught my eye, so I was excited when they finally opened! I've been a couple times and I have tried the banana cream matcha, banana cream latte, and coconut matcha. Drinks were good, but just a little too sweet for my liking. Of the three, my favorite was the coconut matcha. Although still sweet for me, it's very refreshing! I'm not sure if you can make adjustments to the sweetness level, so I'll try asking next time. The store itself is clean and decor is minimal. Most of the time I drive by, I do see a long line inside. But I've never had to wait too long in line, it always moved pretty fast. I've also been on a weekday afternoon where line isn't bad at all. Staff have always been nice. Overall a nice experience! read more

Great friendly Service, the drinks are always consistent and they have pastries. What more do I need to say?? My go to is the banana cream Latte, I can't stop thinking about it. Never would I have thought I would've liked a banana latte but here I am writing a good review about it. Ambiance is very welcoming with a huge family table in the center, perfect for hanging out with your friends while sipping some coffee. Lines can be pretty long tho. Today it was out the door. read more
So good!! I got the banana cream latte. I loved that the banana cold foam on top tasted like fresh banana bread! I'm an all things banana flavored lover, and this definitely met my expectations. The line was very long but it moved fast! They're very efficient and my drink was ready right after ordering. Would definitely recommend! Can't wait to come back. read more
This is a newer coffee place in Torrance, and it always has a long line when I drive by. I finally stopped in on the weekend, and while it does take a little long to order, the drink I got was well worth the wait and I cannot wait to go back and order it again. I ordered the banana matcha latte with whole milk. It was so delicious. I was skeptical of the banana flavor at first because I was really hoping it would not taste like artificial bananas, but it does not. It even has little bits of banana in the cream top. The flavor combines so well with the matcha. Once you order, you don't have to wait too long for the drink to be ready. I can't wait to go back this weekend! read more
Chrome Coffee Studio in Torrance, located in a small plaza off Torrance Boulevard (same complex as Bab N Banchan) was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The atmosphere is modern and minimalistic, with plenty of seating. Besides coffee and teas, they also sell baked goods such as croissants, muffins, kouign amanns, and cookies. They also have non coffee drinks such as strawberry milk and strawberry ade, which is great if you are bringing a child who also wants a drink. I tried the Banana Milk Latte with oat milk, and it was fantastic. It wasn't too sweet and they used real fresh banana pieces blended in for a natural flavor. It's refreshing to find a drink that tastes this good without being overly sugary. I'm not a fan of overly sweet drinks. I was so glad they didn't use banana milk, and it was actually real bananas. The service was also great. The cashier/barista were nice, and friendly and my drink came out quickly. Overall, Chrome Coffee is a great spot with quality drinks, great vibes, and attention to detail. I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks. read more

Chrome Coffee Studio was cool. I ordered their banana cream matcha and it was the perfect balance. I also ordered their banana cream everything croissant, but was disappointed to hear that it couldn't be warmed up after I already ordered due to them not having a toaster oven. I understand that they cannot satisfy everyone, but if the owner is reading this, please invest in a toaster oven in the near future. read more
Happy that the South Bay is finally getting some much needed cafe spots, particularly matcha ones. Walking in it's quiet busy with young people, very much instagram vibey cafe. Plenty of sitting inside and outside. I ordered their cream top Hojicha latte, it is very much in the sweeter side. I didn't ask if I could adjust the sweetness, I do personally tend to like my tea's more earthy. I would go again to try their matcha latte. As everyone has said about the parking situation, isn't that great. read more
Brand new shop in Torrance. They are still working out the details but they have a winning formula. Why? Lets break it down. The drinks are good but on the sweeter side (which people love!) This is where you go for artsy instagram shots and to chat with your friends. There is no chocolate drinks such as a warm Mocha on a cold winter day. The lack of chocolate based drinks is a minor problem that can be easily solved later. You wont find pour overs or any specialty coffee drinks here. So if that's okay with you, go! Go! Go! The staff is nice and friendly. They are still working on their bar flow and it looks very busy behind the scenes. The parking situation is a bit difficult since the strip mall is busy all week. So plan accordingly. Overall 4/5 read more
waited about 30 mins on a sunday afternoon to order. usually get coconut matcha at da vien but wanted to try a new spot this day. i typically get drinks about half sweet but forgot to adjust today and found the drink just way too sweet at regular level. with a deeper taste, we also agreed that the matcha was more simpler than desired. the taste is very one dimensional and supported with a past visit with a more matcha focused drink. i'd return but probably wouldn't wait as long as we did for the same drink, although i do want to try some other ones. service otherwise was great read more

Quick morning run to the cafe, this place was quick to serve my order and worth the little extra 5mins after dropping off my child at school. The matcha is beyond anything I've had, quality is exceptional and doesn't feel like I'm drink only ice. I've tried to banana matcha as well which is also divine. I'd try anything from here honestly but matcha is at the top of my list. Seating can be hard since this place is popular but there's always parking available in the lot and it's near some nice food places. read more

Hello again from Torrance, which kept calling me back with another new place to try recently. Entering the parking lot I could already see the busy venue with long line of customers waiting to place their orders. The wait happened inside the venue, but surprisingly the space was pretty warm, prolly due to how packed it was with people which's kinda expected being at its early days. Saying that, it's not startling they took awhile to get the orders ready but you could tell that they worked attentively, looking at constant business behind the bar. Besides, the bright space did provide plenty of seats so you could wait comfortably. I went for their most favorite Chrome Latte, whose default was sweet as it's served with brown sugar and the cream top was sweet as well. Having my first sip, I prolly fancied slightly bolder coffee flavor, but overall the taste was decent. It's also smart idea adding cocoa powder on top of the cream as the slight hint of bitterness balanced the overall taste so it's neither overly creamy nor too sweet. read more

Chrome Coffee Studio was our happy place today. Great coffee & pastries. This place is so popular but don't fear! The line looks long but they are quick. This is a place you should go out of your way to try. Chrome Latte is a must - South Bay Coffee Buzz read more

Chrome Coffee Studio recently opened, taking over a former sushi and boba shop. I headed over for a post-lunch pick me up, and it was very busy, with the line wrapping around the communal table. It took about 20-25 minutes to get to the front to order, but 5-10 minutes to get my drink, which wasn't too bad given how busy it was. I ordered the popular Chrome matcha with oat milk, and it came beautifully-presented, definitely for that Instagram effect. Taste-wise, it was okay: I wish that the matcha flavor was stronger. Even with the double layer of matcha cream top, it wasn't enough matcha for me. I think the oat milk kind of overpowered the matcha by a bit (as I'm lactose-intolerant and can't really have dairy), but it was still a sweet drink that did the trick for my matcha craving. There's ample parking in the strip mall, although it can be a bit hard to find a spot during peak hours. I also appreciate the friendly service: the workers always had a smile on their faces, despite how many people there were! I like how the South Bay is having more cafés open up, and I hope Chrome is here to stay! read more

New coffee spot alert!!! This little gem just had its grand opening today, and I'm already a fan. Parking is a breeze (yay!), and the vibe is all about that bright, modern minimalism with a warm touch. Inside, they've got these gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows along the bar area that let in a lot of natural light. There is also a big communal table right in the middle that's perfect for studying or just hanging out. I tried the Chrome latte, and it was heavenly. I went with oat milk to make it extra creamy, and it was the perfect balance, not too sweet, and the espresso was smooth without the jitters. Confession!! I also tried the coconut matcha, which is basically coconut water with a matcha cream on top, and wow!! So refreshing! If you're not in the mood for coffee, this is def a go-to summer drink. It's like a light, subtly creamy coconut water with just a hint of matcha, and I loved it. The staff was super friendly and gave out stickers. I'm definitely coming back. Honestly, I'm so happy this place opened up in the neighborhood! read more
Since the first time we came here a few weeks ago my husband is hooked! Here I am again getting his banana crème latte.. came in at 8:30 ish... and there was about 12 people in line what I love about it it that it goes by fast so they have some amazing baristas working hard. I had been driving by this coffee spot often and finally decided to stop by. I got a cold brew latte and my fiancée got the chrome latte. The line was out the door when we got there but we got our drinks pretty fast. Disappointed with the drinks, tasted nothing like coffee, just overly sweet. The silver lining was the friendly and fast service, but would not wait in line again. read more
This spot is so underrated, wow! I haven't seen much of it on socials, but I'm glad I stopped in while I was in the area on a random yelp search. The matcha AND hojicha are amazing! Silky smooth, not gritty, not bitter, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I got everything 50% sweet. I'm not a strawberry matcha person, but this is hands down the best strawberry matcha I've had. It was very fresh. It definitely gets busy but we didn't have to wait long because they make your drinks very quickly. Cute little spot with great drinks! read more
This banana cream matcha latte was so good that I honestly wished I ordered two. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the flavors came together, such a perfect combo. I also loved the vibe of this coffee shop, and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. There is a wait, but it's totally worth it. Luckily there's a good amount of parking, but it does get busy, so be prepared to wait in line. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Torrance. Worth the drive for sure! read more
The place was packed when we came in at 3PM, but luckily there was no line. We ordered the Banana Cream Latte and the Coconut Matcha, and both were so good. The service was very quick, which as super convenient. The banana latte was one of the best I've had. It tasted like real banana and not artificial or overly sweet. The coconut matcha was creamy and really refreshing. There are a lot of seats, so it's a great place to study or hang out. Parking was easy, and the total was about $14. So sad it's far from me, but I would definitely come back if I'm in the area. read more
Every time I tried to go to Chrome, there was a long line. I finally decided to brave the line and try the spot that some of my friends had been to. Have to say it was worth the wait. I had the banana Matcha and at first I thought it was just OK but once I really mixed it and the banana chunks came to the top. OMG it hit the spot. Love love love having real bananas in the Matcha. Service was very friendly and the line does go by pretty fast. They are really working in the back to get those drinks out. Parking is a little bit of a hassle and they do kind of need to manage the line a little bit better because people ordering blend in with people waiting at least while I was there. But like I said it's worth the wait. read more

I've been here a couple times on the way to work so I get there shortly after 7 am and there's always a hand full of people in there already. I can only imagine how busy it gets on the weekends. I've only tried their banana cream matcha and I really like the balance of matcha and banana without being overly sweet. The pastries have been decent but would be better if they warmed them up. Service has been better compared to other similar establishments in the area. Clean minimalistic interior and plenty of parking in the lot. read more

Amazing amazing! I went on a weekend morning not super busy at all. Lots of parking available. I ordered the chrome matcha (which is like a double matcha) and their matcha croissant. Both were amazing. The matcha is very rich and the cup is a decent size. Service was quick too. Will definitely be back! :) read more

Chrome Coffee has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in Torrance. The ambiance is an easy 10/10! Super clean, modern & welcoming plus customer service is 10/10! Every coffee & specialty drink I've tried has been a 10/10. Some of my favorites are the Hojicha, Coconut Matcha, Chrome Matcha, Chrome Latte, the Biscoff Latte (secret menu (; ) & my current obsession is the Banana Cream Latte! Coming from a banana hater ... this banana latte is not too overpowering, creamy, & absolutely delicious!! In fact, it was so good that I had to order a second one with no ice to take home & enjoy later. read more

Best biscoff latte I've ever had!!!! Not too sweet, not too strong, just the perfect balance. Service is always great, employees are friendly and attentive. I've been wanting to try Chrome Coffee for the longest time since it's popped up on my TikTok, and I finally made it. Parking was semi-easy when I went there, but I can see it being hard if other businesses are busy. There's a line that wraps around the store, making it difficult to actually sit inside and enjoy your coffee. My friend and I ordered the Chrome Latte. It was delicious and full of flavor. It was sweet but not overpowering. Once you order, drinks can out super fast. Overall, great coffee spot in Torrance! read more

Visiting from Southern Utah and my daughter took me here for coffee. I've been here 3 times in 1 week just for their Amazing Iced Banana Cream Latte. It's so smooth, silky, creamy, and cold with the richest Banana Cream I've ever had. I can't get enough of it. We finally got to try Chrome! I've had this place bookmarked for a while and they did not disappoint! First off, plenty of parking and easy to find. Their space is fairly big, kid-friendly--I love the communal table! Ordering was easy and their service is quick! Check out their case of pastries! We arrived around 9am and there were still plenty to choose from. As for the drinks, so many options. I'm more of a matcha girly and my husband is into black coffee. I ordered oat matcha with matcha cream top, wow!! It's perfection in a cup! I enjoyed every sip! My husband got the batch brew, it was also a hit! I know chrome coffee studio has a lot of hype surrounding it but it really lived up to it. I ordered the banana cream latte with espresso and it was absolutely delicious; strong coffee flavor with a good hint of banana flavor with every sip. Plan to wait in a long line that wraps around the studio on weekends, as this place is very popular.
