The owner of this restaurant is about as friendly as a door knob. She seemed annoyed by having to take our order, never came by to ask how the food was, and I had to get up, and ask for refills for our drinks. The restaurant had two other tables at the time. I would love to give this 5 stars. The food came out quick and it was delicious for the both of our meals plus egg roll appetizers (3 for 2.95) was only a little over 21. So, the food and the price were great, the service however was pretty bad. They never checked on us and we had to stop two different servers for refills. You don't have a set server, but it would be nice if the one that makes eye contact with you and obviously sees your cup empty would offer you more instead of you having to find someone. They took forever to bring the Bill and then come back for my card. I really liked the food, but maybe next time we'll take ours to go. read more

This was my first time to eat here. Great prices under $10 on their lunch menu! I ordered the Kung Pao chicken with fried rice and it came with an egg roll. The egg roll was delicious! The Kung Pao chicken was also delicious!! Just the right amount of spicy!! It also tasted very fresh, not like it was sitting under a heat lamp for several hours. I would try this place! The absolute best! The tofu bao is my favorite! Dont let the word tofu fool you, this dish arrives to your table boiling in a clay pot. The aroma and flavor of this dish will make your heart melt! Thick brown sauce with delicious vegetables and flash fried tofu wedges! It reminds me of a Chinese shepards pie. The Jamborg (sp?) soup is absolutely to die for as well, and only 5.95 a bowl (serves 2). This place should be packed all the time, it is so clean and tastefully decorated. Sorry Chopsticks - you ain't all that. I'm not sure if this is what passes for some of the "best" Chinese food in Tulsa - but I don't think it is really fair to rate subjectively. Price-wise these guys are mostly on target for the portions, but taste-wise there is a lot to be desired. The General Tso's was just salty - not even a hint of the sweetness that this dish should have. It had virtually no crispiness either, but I won't be too hard on it in this aspect, because we did have it take out. The fried rice was just wrong. I have a feeling that even had a just ordered white rice they use a type of rice or prepare it so that it is mushy (even the fried rice just tasted like mushy white rice turned brown). The vegetable lo-mein was not bad - but it wasn't good. It just "was" - totally bland. Best things were the egg rolls, and even these I would just rate wholly average. While I wouldn't throw this food out if it was set in front of me, I certainly won't be ordering it again - at least not until we exhaust all the other options for something better. read more

Discovered this diamond in the rough by chance. Always thought this place was a buffet so I avoided it. Decided to try it since I haven't had any decent Chinese food in Tulsa. I was promptly greeted by a nice waiter and handed a menu. He took my drink order and then brought me some sweet crunchy things with a side of sauce. Yummy! I ordered the orange chicken with steamed rice and was not disappointed. Generous serving and delicious sauce. I also order the spring rolls (5) and they were the best spring rolls I have had in a long time. I have since continued to patronize this establishment and order the Tong Su Yu in pork. I ate this when I was stationed in Korea back in the 80's and have searched and searched for it since. Well I ate this and it was just like traveling back to Korea. The vegetables were crisp and the sauce sweet. The pork was lightly battered and simply perfect! If you like Chinese or Korean food give this place a try as you will not be disappointed. I have seen this place a few times on Yelp and was interested in trying out, but was not sure if it was more of a takeout casual place or an actual restaurant. I decided to finally come here for dinner last night with a friend and was really happy I finally made my way over! The restaurant is located in a strip mall off of 61st and Sheridan so it is not far from everything. I have been to the Brazilian steakhouse next door before but never knew there was a Chinese place here as well. When we went to dinner last night and walked in I was shocked to see that it is a real restaurant. We did go eat kind of early so it was not as busy as it normally is I guess. I liked the restaurant overall, but I feel like it could have been more homey and warm when I walked in. Aside from that I was impressed by all the food selection and the service. The menu had a little bit of everything and aside from Chinese had some Korean dishes as well. I have not been to a Korean place since I have moved here, but this was a good start. They had Kim Chee which is what really won me over! Before I get into the food we got, I just want to say that what made me love this place was the server we had. It is very rare you get someone genuinely nice to help you and hands down he was one of the top 5 best waiters I have ever had. I was literally mind blown at the service when I left, and told everyone about it. That waiter alone would be the reason why I would go back more often. The food we ordered was delicious! Everything tasted very authentic and did not resemble Chinese takeout you would get anywhere else. The variety as well was great and there was a little of something for everyone. I ordered the seafood and tofu soup which I enjoyed, but next time I may just get the one that did not have tofu in it. I am not a huge fan when there is a lot of tofu but the flavor was still great. All the appetizers here looked delicious as well; I wish I could have ordered all of them. The dumplings and spring rolls are what we tried and it had very good flavor! Like I said, it was not as heavy as Chinese take-out would be. At the end of the meal I was very pleased and the prices for what you get are amazing! We had dinner here a few nights ago. Food was OK, but I've had much better. Beef was kind of fatty and I ended up leaving most of it smeared around my plate. My friends had chicken and shrimp dishes, which were both better than the beef. Nice interior and the waitress/owner was nice. The Chicago area has much better Korean restaurants, but I did like knowing the Korean option was available here. If I visited again, I would avoid the beef and try something else. read more

Went on a Friday night with some friends. It's a small restaurant and they got a little busy around 7pm, but never full. The restaurant is nice and clean, but doesn't really look like a Chinese restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. The food overall was good, but I probably wouldn't go there again with all the other choices in Tulsa. For an appetizer we had the "fried dumplings". They had fried or boiled on the menu but they had the same description. Our dumplings looked like they were sauteed for color and then steamed leaving them soggy and very slippery. The dipping sauce was not what I expected and had almost no flavor. We also had egg rolls for an appetizer. They were cooked well and had a great crisp to them, but not a lot of flavor. I dipped them in the sauce of my entree and that was really good. For an entree I had the Hot Garlic Chicken. It was very good with a lot of flavor and spice. It was a large portion and I took most of it home and it was just as good the next day. My husband had the Korean Spicy Pork. He ate almost all of it and the little he saved for the next day was even better reheated. We did have to wait awhile to be asked if we needed boxes or the check, which was fine because we stayed and talked long after that. read more

I do not recommend Chopsticks. My family of 4 ordered delivery. My daughter wanted Chow Mein. However, my idea of Chow Mein and their idea of Chow Mein are different. Chow Mein literally means stir-fried noodle. Noodles are generally stir-fried in a wok with the meat and vegetables. What we received was a container of beef and soggy vegetables in a thickish sauce and a bag of fried wonton strips. This did not look look like any Chow Mein that I had ever seen. So, I called, and the young lady I talked to said to mix the crispy noodles (she was referring to the fried wonton strips) in with the meat, vegetables, and sauce and that was Chow Mein. I didn't agree, so I looked on my phone to see what everybody else's looked like and I didn't see any that looked like theirs did. I looked at about 100 pictures and the all had long stir-fried noodles in various states of crispiness. But none with fried wontons strips. read more

If you're a fan of Pei Wei or Panda Express then you probably won't like Chopsticks Aside from my opinion, it's also reinforced by the good sign & fact that the restaurant usually has a diverse clientele, many of whom are Asian. There were three of us. One ordered Pepper Beef, one ordered Orange Chicken and I ordered Pepper Shrimp. The portions were good and the beef and chicken were great. Not the case for the Pepper Shrimp. They were cooked in great spices, but with the shell on and over cooked, so the shells were almost impossible to remove. The others finished and I was still peeling. The waitress was not interested in helping. The spices went away with the shells, so I had to scrape up some to get a taste. Let me start with my first visit...I printed a coupon from online and it said Tuesday special...well I was told that coupon expired over 2 years ago..today I went back to give them another shot and I checked the prices again and went in to order and guess what the prices have changed and I was told they are a small business so I should understand. Well what I do understand is that you shouldn't have website because it is not accurate at all. And then you look at me as if it was my fault.
