Great casual kbbq place. Can be very busy during dinner hours, so I recommend either calling ahead or expecting to wait a bit. We shared combo A, which comes with 4 different bulgogi: beef bulgogi, beef rib bulgogi, pork bulgogi, and chicken bulgogi. The beef bulgogi was definitely my favorite (best texture and taste) while the beef rib was very chewy. Portion & pricing was very standard for kbbq, expect to be paying $30-40 per person.

Cho Sun was the first place my boy and I tried Korean bbq. We loved it so much we didn't go anywhere else for the past 10 yrs until recently. We always compare other places to the cho Sun quality. There's always a long wait and they don't take reservations for less than 6 people. Their meat combo platter is the best deal and heir dipping sauce is so tasty. You come out smelling like kkbbq- it's inevitable.

....wife wanted to try this restaurant so we came during lunch.....we were able to seat right away....there were only 4 tables doing BBQ so the restaurant wasn't overwhelmed with BBQ odour....I am not totally familiar with Korean cuisine so I made some inquiries....the staff were able to answer my questions...we both ordered combo sets and only had to wait a short time for the food....I would recommend and come back again....Sep 7 23

We came on a Saturday for lunch. The restaurant wasn't busy when we showed up at 11:30. Their lunch sets are well priced. We ordered the braised beef ribs and the jajangmyeon set. The juicy pork rib and the soft tofu soup. We also got the bibimbap. We asked if the soft tofu soup came with rice and they confirmed it did but it never came out so I can't confirm if it does. The food came out really fast. It came with 4 side dishes. The lunch sets are definitely on the smaller size but very worth for the price. The braised beef ribs were very sweet and soft. Comes with rice cake, radish and potato. Would order this again. The jajangmyeon tasted like the package kind. Portion was quite big but flavour wise very generic. The juicy pork ribs were not juicy. Again on the sweet side. Could have been cooked for a bit longer so it would be fall off the bone but other than that not bad. Between the juicy pork ribs and the braised beef ribs get the braised beef ribs. The soft tofu soup was definitely on the saltier MSG side but the tofu was really soft and addictive. The bibimbap came with mostly veggies which I liked. The portion and the price were fair for what was provided knowing that bibimbap is pricey out there nowadays. Overall - if you are in the area and looking for a cheap place to get lunch. This is definitely the place. Be advised that 15% tip is automatically added to your bill. Not sure if it was because we had 5 people, but it was automatically added to the bill. Also the service here is really minimal. We spent a long time waving down servers to order but after that the food came out really fast. It was hard to get the bill too but other than that no major issues

The last time over been here was way over 10 years ago. And I'm super glad I gave it another chance. My boyfriend and I got seated right away with tea. They had a lunch special menu. Which was roughing about $16-$20 a set. It was perfect ! Good portion for lunch You got to choose one item from column A + B Get the beef braised in sweet soy sauce, you won't regret it !!

Great Korean food. Seafood tofu soup is good and authentic, makes me feel warm in the chill day.

Chosun Korean BBQ ft bibimbap and spicy cold noodle (plus juicy beef rib as a part of lunch special) Was here for bbq once but came back specifically to try their cold noodle this time. It was spicy, esp towards the end when the noodle was more soaked in the spice. I kept eating the potatoes and radish side dishes to cool down. This is from someone who can eat spicy drumsticks from church's chicken and most spicy Korean fried chicken! The other two dishes were great too! I guess this place has more than just bbq to offer!

Decent spot for kbbq in the area. My group of 5 got the beef combo large, beef tartare, corn cheese and seafood tofu soup and it was plenty of food. The meat was pretty good. I especially liked the beef tartare. The corn cheese was watery and tasteless, not really buttery and the cheese was basically nonexistent and didn't melt. Lettuce is extra. The restaurant was pretty busy when we walked in so we waited 30-45 minutes on a Friday evening. Service is ok but it took awhile to get any one's attention. 3.5 stars if half stars were possible...would give this place another try if in the area

Just your classic korean bbq joint on Kingsway. We made a reservation over the phone a few days prior and we are so glad we did because there was a huge wait outside! The service was very prompt with the bell. We enjoyed the side dishes, the set combos and the grilling experience. The seafood pancake was also a highlight. It was my birthday and they even played a birthday song over their speakers, which was very sweet of them. My friends brought a cake too and they were willing to store it in the fridge until after the meal.

Lunch special - beef with tofu soup

Lunch specials are affordable, and you can have a set for one person. It is quite crowded during lunch and I had to wait for 5-10 minutes. I forgot it was a BBQ place and the the air inside the restaurant was thick with the sizzling BBQ food smoke. They did not turn on the rangehood which is above every BBQ plate and so be warned. Your hair and clothes will smell after a meal there. I had the beef short ribs with the seafood tofu soup. The set came with 3 banchan which were pretty nice. I like the tofu soup which was not very spicy and went well with rice. The beef was a bit tough (probably overcooked) but it was not too bad. I like how you can select your own set for the lunch special. They also do a bento box and hot stone bowl for lunch. Good place for Korean food during lunch.

This place is truly the best for Korean BBQ! We've gone here many times and most recently for my husband's birthday. The only issue was the long wait - I didn't plan ahead and did not make reservations so had to wait about 40 minutes. Parking can at times be an issue but we didn't have a problem with finding parking this time - we made an assumption that most people waiting either lived nearby and walked or parked on the streets! We ordered spicy soup and their bbq platter for 4. Their sides are the best - we love their sweet potatoes so much and kimchi, we ended up asking them to refill 5 times! Goodness, it seemed the food ordered wasn't enough but it sure was more than what we needed. Our eyes were certainly bigger than our tummies! Since our bill was quite high, we also had to leave a generous tip but it was a wonderful experience (always has been) and it was Michael's (hubby) birthday and we all had happy and satisfied tummies, so that was not a big deal at all. Highly recommend this place for their cleanliness, quality meat and friendliness.

I was craving cold noodles and learned that Cho Sun had them. I arrived at 11:30am which is when they were opening for lunch and there were already a few people in line ahead of me. They have lunch specials where you can choose 2 items for a discounted price ($13-15) so it's a pretty good deal and yes, cold noodles are on the list! I ordered the spicy cold noodles and my friend got the combo regular cold noodle combo with grilled mackerel. The mackerel wasn't that big but I had a bite and it was still flaky and tasty. The noodles were pretty standard. Not a bad lunch option for the area!

We ordered a set with gimbap, tteokbokki, and noodles. The gimbap was generously stuffed with colorful vegetables and rice, wrapped tightly in seaweed and sliced nicely, fresh, clean flavors, and perfect for sharing. The tteokbokki had that classic sweet-and-spicy sauce, with chewy rice cakes that really hit the spot (comfort food at its best). The noodles were light but surprisingly satisfying, served warm and simply topped, a great balance alongside the richer, spicy dish. Everything came out neatly on a tray, which made it feel casual and fun, like a cozy quick meal you'd come back to often. Overall, Nomnom Seoul is a great spot for an easy, comforting bite with friends. Simple Korean favorites done well, with good portions and a relaxed vibe. I'd happily return again

Kimbab was quite voluminous and I could only eat half of it. The cold noodles were no soup and had a lot of vegetables in the them. However, I've never really tried Soondae before and I was feeling nauseous on the day of my visit--so I opted for something more mild and less "adventurous" instead. I will definitely be back to try their Soondae next time though. Daeji Gukbap 10/10 This boiled bowl of stew was exactly what my upset tummy needed. I always order the same thing, a mixed pork offal and soondae soup. You can choose the spiciness level when you order but they also offer red pepper flakes and fish sauce on the side to add to taste. It comes in small and large, with a side of pickled radish, roasted seaweed, and white rice. Even with the small, you get a lot of meat in the hot stone bowl and it is so comforting. The offal is super tender but the star here is definitely the soondae. Pork blood and vermicelli with spices are encased in an intestine casing, making for a unique springy texture. It's even more tasty when you dip into their homemade fish sauce and the stew warms you to the bone.
