I just came to this Chipotle with my mom and we got two bowls. We got home a few minutes ago, and I open the lid off of mine to see something dark in the lettuce. I bring it up and it's a dead fly. This is just completely disgusting and unacceptable. I've worked for chipotle before and I have no idea how any of the workers missed this knowing the steps it takes to clean the lettuce, cut and clean again then separate. This Chipotle is located inside of the mall. Food is always good at Chipotle and I'm always a fan of their food; however, this location is just okay. It's inside of the mall and that right there tells you, the volume of customers going in and out of the area. I recently visited because I wanted to redeem my free birthday freebie for free guac and these days I probably visit Chipotle maybe once or twice a year now versus years ago when this was a place I visited a lot. My biggest complaint about this location is the fact that they never get the orders right. I literally order online and all you have to do is read what we requested. I guess I wouldn't be so passionate about it if it wasn't every single time, but they just need to learn to get it together. Chipotle is still good and I would definitely have it again, but I would rather visit the other locations. If there's a chance someone from the other locations can possibly train the people here then it would be great. read more

After I had received my food midway through eating I noticed a tiny small hair. Im hoping it was a beard hair for my sake. When i went to let management know it seemed as if they didn't care and while we were speaking I noticed an employee with a beard and no net covering. Had a bite to eat here tonight. Well first of all this wasn't my first time at this location. I must say the food has definitely changed since it first opened. I don't get the meat here any longer because it had gotten too fatty and the fat really is nasty to me. Cleanliness has taken a hit in the dinning room I must say, it could use an update. The burritos size seem to have shrunk as well which is disappointing. I only get the vegetarian options now, rice beans lettuce and cheese ect. The taste of these items are fairly safe. All I did was ask about a mall employees discount which everyone else carry's but apparently chipotle no longer has it. All of the other employees are rude & seem like they don't even want to work there. With such a wide variety of choices to eat at the valley plaza mall, there's definitely a few reasons why Chipotle should be at the bottom of your list. 1)Food line workers at Chipotle that have long, unkempt hair are not required to wear a hairnet. Or at least if they are, the policy isn't enforced. And if you can put two and two together, you can guess this means a hairy burrito or bowl. 2)You are a massive inconvenience to the workers. Have you ever wanted to feel like the one awkward kid that gets picked last for PE? Well search no more, at the Valley Plaza Chipotle employees look at you with such a severe level of disdain and disgust as you make your way through the line that you'll feel disappointed in yourself even! 3)Inconsistent serving sizes. Do you like guacamole in your burrito? How about sour creme? Well congratulations, your burrito now has a few serving spoons of guacamole in it. Or about as much as a single ketchup packet. You'll never get the same distribution of ingredients, even if you're just comparing it between your order and your friend who was just behind you, All portions are more or less guesstimated based on how distracted the employee preparing your meal is. In conclusion, don't eat here. Or if you do, make sure to ask for an extra dose of disappointment and hair. read more
