And check those buns! Don't leave them out in the open that's the only way i feel they would become stale tasting. I would give the food a 4.2 out of 5.0, but their staff definitely gets a 5.0 out of 5.0; super friendly, patient and kind. You don't usually get that at this small joints anymore. I had the pastrami (first time ever anywhere) and fried zucchini, which had good taste. My brother mentioned a couple of times how the grilled chicken sandwich was really good, which was surprising since things are usually just "okay" to him. I'm not sure if it's new management or what might have happened but the food is no longer enjoyable. I know the price of food has gone up but that doesn't mean your quality should. This place has really good burgers, some of the best in town in my opinion. Their french fries however are a bit underwhelming. They always seem undercooked, very squishy with no crunch.
