Had to visit my eye doctor in the same shopping center as Frosty Queen and decided to give it a try. Pretty standard menu and prices for one of these burger joints. Place seemed clean and the gal taking orders was pleasant. Ordered the Big Azz combo which was $12 for a burger, fries, and soda which is not bad considering it is a double burger with 2 slices of cheese. The patties were decent size and overall a very good portion of meat that was really juicy. Fresh veggies including a nice slice of red onion. Fries are right with not too much seasoning. I had a very disappointing experience with a staff member regarding my order today, April 10, 2026. Instead of simply addressing the situation professionally, she chose to harass and speak to me in a rude and aggressive manner about not picking up my order. She was not calling out orders by the number, but the food item so you don't know whose order it really is. But to yell at me over the counter? Really? There was absolutely no reason to attack me the way she did. When I calmly pointed out how inappropriate her behavior was, she continued to argue with me rather than de-escalating the situation. Customer service should always involve professionalism and respect, even when issues arise. Arguing with customers and speaking to them disrespectfully is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should be treated this way. read more

I've been here quite a few times now since it's not too far from work. The food reminds me of Frosty Freeze, Golden Ox or John's Burgers kinda place. Every single time I have bought food here, everything was made fresh and never tasted like it was sitting there or premade. These types of burger joints always remind me of the burger joints back home in Delano since those local spots always have really good burgers. So far I have no complaints. My favorite treat is the soft served ice creams. They have tons of flavors so you guys need to check it out. If you're in a rush they have a drive thru which is always such a convenience for us since we're always on the go. I have probably been inside once or twice and it's nothing special. These staff seem okay. They're not rude or anything and the service is pretty quick compared to the other spots. read more

Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you, this is a 1 star. My wife and I were coming home a long drive and we were really looking forward to this place only to be disappointed in everything. We had a sampler of a few things on the menu, we got the Queen burger with bacon, tenders and fries and mozzarella cheese sticks. Let me start off with the Queen Single bacon cheeseburger. It had no cheese. None of them. Just dry and old meat. The bacon was half overcooked and half raw, how is that even possible? Didn't finish it. Onto the Tenders and Fries. The fries had some flavor but that went away fast, dry as well. The tenders were no better. Dry, hard and bland. Didn't finish that either. Lastly the mozzarella sticks were edible but even then the cheese tasted frozen. Mozzarella sticks looked and tasted like the ones you find at your local store and do everything you can to bring it to life but fall short due to the blandness and lack of flavor. Also, the Dr.Pepper we ordered was 70% ice. We should have stuck to Wendy's or Popeyes, at least their food is consistent and more reasonably priced. Never coming back here again! This place needs to be shutdown or under new ownership. Let me season the food. Forgot to add, the bathrooms and floors were filthy. read more

The place is an actual hidden gem. Now stepping inside, it has that late night classic burger shop feel mixed with "Is this a money laundering front for some gang?", which even if it is the food is pretty good. The one thing that I really enjoy is the massive size of the menu, it's absolutely absurd how many things are on it, I mean you can list off any random fried food and there's a good chance they have it. I think they even have fried okra there? It's also kinda like a funny filter from what I've seen as not everything on it is a winner which is kinda cool if you like gambling on meals. Personally I only get the burgers and ice cream which are both pretty killer. Fresh tasting burgers that fill you up for with a pretty good deal for a combo, and surprisingly good ice cream which honestly might be my favorite soft serve ever. They even got this big bag of fries they sell for like around 10 bucks which is perfect for when you wanna hang at the nearby Del Taco parking lots to toss fries at birds or watch vagrants fight. The service is pretty good. I've never had an issue with them and they never had an issue with me. I usually just get in and get out so can't say much besides that the place looks clean enough. I was really disappointed with my visit to this place. The staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, which completely ruined the experience. For a place that's already on the expensive side, I didn't expect to be charged 75 cents for a tiny container of BBQ sauce with my chicken strips. The food itself was also underwhelming. The burgers didn't come close to the quality I've had at other spots like Pops Burgers. My son actually discovered Frosty Queen Express because he's on a mission to find a replacement for one of our favourite local burger places that decided to take a wild dump!! Walked in with high hopes of a cool foster freeze style junk food spot. Reviews seemed decent. It didn't take long to disappoint. I will say on our visit the restaurant was clean and that is always important to me and the reason I didn't rate it a 1 star. Now to the food, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich the chicken was about a 1/8 of an inch thick and took up about half the bun so I had the same amount of bread bites as bites with chicken, very disappointing on top of that the chicken wasn't even that good. I order 2 of the 3 piece taquitos and they were honestly pretty good just expensive, 5 bucks for 3 taquitos is kinda high but they were good. My son and daughter ordered soft serve ice cream one with sprinkles and one chocolate dipped. The dip and sprinkles were of course extra which isn't really a huge problem but my cone got about 20 sprinkles and the chocolate dip was so thin there was no crunch which is the fun part. So all in all a really disappointing experience and we honestly can't justify ever going back. I really hate leaving bad reviews because I know what and impact that can have on a business but I also really hate spending our hard earned money and feeling really disappointed after. Food is amazing. Everything I tried so far has been great. They are a little bit on the pricey side. But they do have some great value meal deals available. Especially for the family meals. The first times I ate here I used the Drive Thru and it was good. But today I dined in and the experience was great! The difference was the service face to face. The crew is on the younger side but they are friendly and ready to serve the customer. I truly believe that this is the reason why I am writing a 5 star review instead of a 3 star. This place has been at this location for a few months, I live right across the street and had never been until last week. Boy was that a mistake. This is your standard burger shop like John's, Leo's, etc. but I really liked this place for one reason: fresh food. The burgers, buns and veggies were all fresh and tasty. I would rather go here than Jack In The Box that is right next to it. I would also recommend it over any John's or Leo's around town as the food here was so much better. I got a bacon cheese burger meal that was $5.99+tax and it was worth every penny because it was so fresh and hot. There is nothing spectacular about the food but it is just done right. If I had one recommendation for them it would be to salt the fries just a little less. I couldn't finish them because they were so bad. My girlfriend got the pastrami and chili fries with a grilled cheese. She was really pleased with the chili and said she would order it again for those who dig chili.
