Unacceptable & the manager Sarah was beyond rude & said I didn't know what SHE was dealing with. Really? Is that an appropriate way to speak to a customer? Terrible service. COVID-19 nor the pandemic is an excuse for how the staff behaved. I came with four other people and we checked in and gave a phone number to be texted for when a table would be ready. I never asked but was told our wait time would be 20 minutes. Based off of that we decided to wait around. Well that 20 minutes turned into an hr and a half. We waited and watched an extremely large group who was done eating sit while half of them rummage in their bags, fake look for money, take forever to pull out debit cards, pick up the bill 7 or 8 times to itemize and decipher who ordered extra wings or had one drink too many...then they get distracted and stop to take photos and go around church hugging each other like they didn't just have the last supper together. My friend asked how much longer must we wait while other people got ushered in after us to eat. Why did he do that!? That's when one of the other hostes got rude and said they can't rush anyone out and we must wait. My friend got mad because he wasn't rude to the young lady he was first speaking with and the other hostess jumped in and added her unnecessary comment. When they seen that her attitude made him more upset they called for back up and in came Scott or whoever his name was. My friend took the opportunity to tell him the girls was unprofessional and the proper thing to do would have been to come and apologize and let us know the larger group is taking longer than expected to leave or give some sort of update but dont leave us hungry and waiting with kids leaning towards 2 hours of waiting. I could understand if the group were still eating but they were done. They finally had paid the bill and all had their doggy bags at that point, finally paid, and was basically staying around to take pics and chit chat. We got desperate and asked to be split. Well Scott or whomever is the manager got rude and belligerent and said he wouldn't split us up. Well shit at this point what are we to do? We can't split to get two smaller booths to eat and nobody wants to ask the church chior to gtfoh despite they're all done. I've been to places where parties were told hey you're paid up and we need the table. Yes these are unique times but that means this is a time where you may have to say "hey we normally won't ask but would you mind...the table is needed" especially if they're paid and there's a 40% capacity limit. Eventually a different grop got up. We sat in Theresa's section who was the only bright spot in this whole visit. They had the audacity to go to her and tell her she had a group of 5 waiting for 2 hrs. HER!? NO the sad manager/owner Scotty failed to manage and hold his employees at the front accountable had us waiting. They pretty much made her feel bad but it wasn't her fault. She sat with us took our order and apologized even though it wasn't her F-up. Food was rushed out because we got significantly burnt food. Portions were thin. They were tossing spoonfuls of whatever on our plate. Like NOW yall in a hurry? Man listen this was the first bad experience here but I'm good on this place. I'll travel out further. I don't feel comfortable with that group handling our food again. The funny thing is I almost changed my mind and went someone else based on some of the reviews that I read but my family wanted to stay. I don't normally give 5 stars but a combination of our great waiter, much better than expected food, and decent prices left me impressed. Went there with the family to celebrate my 13 yr old sons Birthday...hey that's where he wanted to go! Saturday night right smack during the 7:30 rush! Called at 7 to reserve a table for 5. Was told they don't take reservations...I said...look it's my sons Birthday, can you just hold a table or we won't bother coming! She said...ok yes sir no problem. Waitress was friendly, bubbly, at ease, professional, did not seem phased at all by the pressure of two hundred people in her area! Even though the restaurant was nearly empty at 4 pm, we were somehow put by the back corner. Our table was dirty and had left over food (including a juicebox and dirty napkins) The service was extremely slow and our waitress barely made eye contact and acted like she did not want to be there. She kept on walking pas us and not check up on us. Our water cups were empty most of the time. When it comes to the enchiladas, i have nothing good to say... The first round had maybe 1/2 meat and a little big of sauce, looked similar to the menu image and tasted 6/10 The 2nd round consists of two wraps with one tsb of meat each. I cannot fathom why there are not more of this chain on Long Island. They have like 90 TGI Fridays but Chili's are few and far between. Came here on a late Monday night, decent amount of people, "ok" waitstaff, seemed like they were always in a rush, probably looking forward to closing. The food? forgettable, I got a trio fajita dish, that just sizzled dry before I could devour it. Very bland. Margarita drink was ok, did enjoy it as the juice that it was since you can barely taste the liquor in it.
