Had to check out the new Restaurant in Manhasset . Parking in the back , with Valet Service. Walked in and was greeted right away , ambiance is beautiful and warm. Tried few dishes , they were all delicious. Definitely try the crab Rangoon and spicy rigatoni. Definitely will be back for another date night. Service - 10/10 Ambiance - 10/10 Parking - Plenty in the back Reservation - Needed or WalkIN

Very promising spot and so much better than Publicans which was here before. Menu, vibe and staff is livelier and overall just makes you want to spend time here. Very very promising to the neighborhood. I definitely want to return and experience more of their menu.

Packed on a Wednesday night, Angie's took over the space of Publican's and opened less than 2 weeks ago. The space is gorgeous, the main entrance is now in the back, valet parking available. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails took a while to come, and they were very light/watered down, tasted the juice more than anything, not worth $19 where you would expect a strong elevated cocktail. The food was mediocre at best. Appetizers: Oysters- all different sizes, the smaller ones were empty Swordfish kabob- the fish was dry & overcooked Tuna poke- lacked flavor, average quality Lobster caviar bites- cheap is not even the word to describe the amount of caviar in this bite. They have the nerve to charge $19 per piece for a bite size piece of bread, with a teaspoon of lobster and a pinch of caviar, highly disappointing Lobster escargot- this dish was excellent, very flavorful, served with a generous portion of bread to dip in the delicious butter sauce. Entrees: No flatbreads available Lamb chops-the waitress originally told us they were out, but then came back and said they did have. Three pieces of lamb served with fries. Each piece of lamb was a different temperature. The fries must have been the end of the batch, they were 1/4 the size of a normal fry. Seafood youvetsi- this dish saved the meal. Very flavorful, a generous portion of shrimp, also included scallops and lobster. Mashed potatoes- flavorless, tasted like instant potatoes. The pink champagne cake was very good & huge! Didn't love the rainbow cake. This spot has alot of potential, I hope they work out the kinks, great location.

I had the taquitos with chicken. They were very good. The chicken was tender and the meal was very tasty. My friend had the chicken Mole. She indicated that she's traveled all over Mexico and never had such a great chicken mole dish. The fried ice cream was decadent. The karaoke, which started at nine, was a lot of fun! There were songs sung both in English and in Spanish. There was actually some really good talent and the host / DJ kept the party going. I am definitely going back to Mama Rosa's for an authentic Mexican meal. I'll also plan to go back on Friday nights for the karaoke.

Went in but one of us had a baby and they denied us service! They refused to seat us at the bar which is part of the happy hour. I mean, what baby is drinking at the bar?!!! Incredibly silly and unprofessional. Fine they don't want to seat the group at the bar because of a baby, at least offer the happy hour at the table that we were forced to sit at. No they didn't. We left. This isn't how you treat customers. People go out to eat to relax and have a good time. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with warm ambiance and great food options. This place was not it. I bet the food is probably horrible, hence the happy hour to get people in the door. Bad staff. Bad place. Go somewhere that cares for their customers.

He requested a surprise birthday candle in the cake and they also put it on a plate that says happy birthday. Really nice presentation! He unfortunately didn't love their version of fra diavolo because it has a ton of peppers. Otherwise it was tasty, he just picked out most of the peppers. The seafood in it was cooked well and he said the shrimp was his favorite part. We also added extra tapas - -brussels sprouts (VERY good) -baked clams (these have stuffing with shrimp and a slice of bacon on top. We actually didn't like these, would prefer clams without a pile of stuffing).

It has actual veggies in it: peppers, onions, zucchini, mushroom plus rice n beans. The chips + salsa that come with it are also really good. Cons: 1. the Birria tacos had So. Much. Cheese. Traditionally birria doesn't have cheese, and the Uber eats option I chose said 'onions and cilantro' so I wasn't anticipating cheese. As someone who is dairy intolerant, I had to pick out globs of cheese. The meat itself tastes good, well seasoned, and I imagine would do well without all that cheese. Now for the consumé. I even asked Andie, whom I consider as my Yelp Goddess for down-to-earth great food and I loyally follow. This place came up in my comfortable radar. Moreover, Evan C . Whom I feel always has honestest reviews, also wrote a review on it. I decided to give a "vaccine" for my growing craving here today. I am so happy on my instinct decision. I walked in the shop and there were about 5 ppl scattered inside already. My eyes were lit up seeing hot food bar right in front. There were no menu so I walked up to the cashier asking how I could order. The owner lady was very patient and nice explained to me even when she was busy. I felt embarrassed because I knew nothing about Mexican/Latin good nor spoke Spanish. I ordered two chicken tamales simple and easy because I did not want to take too much time of hers. I could not believe the tamale only $1.75/each! The owner lady even unwrapped them for my convenience. Thank you! Honestly, the chicken tamales were alright, somewhat savory and fresh! But too little chicken meat! Also the meat was too lean! Some fat and veggies or other ingredients would be much tastier, like those I had in Southern California!
