    Wagyu French Dip

Went here recently for the lunch special they have. It was Amazing!! I staryed with the crab rangoons and then got the Wagu French dip. It was incredible! Our server, Stephanie-she was the best, recommended the coconut sundae for dessert and I'm still dreaming about it. I cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Tried few dishes , they were all delicious. Definitely try the crab Rangoon and spicy rigatoni. Definitely will be back for another date night. Very promising spot and so much better than Publicans which was here before. Menu, vibe and staff is livelier and overall just makes you want to spend time here. Very very promising to the neighborhood. I definitely want to return and experience more of their menu.

Packed on a Wednesday night, Angie's took over the space of Publican's and opened less than 2 weeks ago. The space is gorgeous, the main entrance is now in the back, valet parking available. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails took a while to come, and they were very light/watered down, tasted the juice more than anything, not worth $19 where you would expect a strong elevated cocktail. The food was mediocre at best. Appetizers: Oysters- all different sizes, the smaller ones were empty Swordfish kabob- the fish was dry & overcooked Tuna poke- lacked flavor, average quality Lobster caviar bites- cheap is not even the word to describe the amount of caviar in this bite. They have the nerve to charge $19 per piece for a bite size piece of bread, with a teaspoon of lobster and a pinch of caviar, highly disappointing Lobster escargot- this dish was excellent, very flavorful, served with a generous portion of bread to dip in the delicious butter sauce. Entrees: No flatbreads available Lamb chops-the waitress originally told us they were out, but then came back and said they did have. Three pieces of lamb served with fries. Each piece of lamb was a different temperature. The fries must have been the end of the batch, they were 1/4 the size of a normal fry. Seafood youvetsi- this dish saved the meal. Very flavorful, a generous portion of shrimp, also included scallops and lobster. Mashed potatoes- flavorless, tasted like instant potatoes. The pink champagne cake was very good & huge! Didn't love the rainbow cake. This spot has alot of potential, I hope they work out the kinks, great location.

    Drinks. Good.

Staff have real Irish accents, which honestly adds to the whole experience without feeling forced. Definitely wanted the Irish Breakfast and the place made an exception because our server asked the cook if they can and they did!! It's a welcoming and cozy place especially on a rainy day! The menu stated they only serve this on the weekends but today was Columbus Day and since the crowd didn't start coming until a bit later I was able to get the Irish Breakfast I was craving! It was the best I ever had with huge pieces of black and white pudding! They don't serve them this size at a diner that is for sure! My husband was going to order the bangers and mash but they ran out of them so he got the Shepard's Pie which he said was tasty, filling and hit the spot. He had two Guinesses on tap and that was good as well. They also have unsweetened iced tea here which I ordered and enjoyed. Excellent service our server was on her own and did a phenomenal job even as the Pub got busier.

We started with an espresso martini, which was excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and a great way to kick off the meal. My husband and I each took a few sips before I remembered to snap a photo--always a good sign. For appetizers, the wasabi rock shrimp and spicy tuna crispy rice were both standouts--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed with great texture. We also ordered the 10 piece nigiri flight, which was consistently impressive. The fish tasted fresh across the board, with the uni being a highlight--rich, creamy, and exceptionally fresh. The shrimp tempura roll was delicious--crispy and well-balanced. The only dish that didn't quite land for us was the ebi hamachi futomaki. It wasn't bad, just not a favorite for my husband--I only remembered to take a photo when we were nearly finished. From the kitchen, we shared the black cod and sea bass--both outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked--definite highlights of the meal. For dessert, we shared the peach cobbler, which was a great finish. Warm peaches with hints of bourbon and cinnamon, paired with Japanese vanilla ice cream--comforting and well-balanced. Service was warm throughout, and the quality of the food was evident in nearly every dish. While it leans toward the higher end in price, the overall experience fell just shy of a full five stars--but was nevertheless very enjoyable.

Incredibly silly and unprofessional. Fine they don't want to seat the group at the bar because of a baby, at least offer the happy hour at the table that we were forced to sit at. No they didn't. We left. This isn't how you treat customers. People go out to eat to relax and have a good time. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with warm ambiance and great food options. This place was not it. I bet the food is probably horrible, hence the happy hour to get people in the door. Bad staff. Bad place. Go somewhere that cares for their customers.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.
