My friends and I came to celebrate an event. Christian was our server, he was friendly, caring, transparent in informing us of the pricing, attentive. When he did not know the answer, he asked the chef and gave us the answer. He took the time to show us a new branzino dish which was beautiful! Ambiance is comfortable, elevated, with nice music but still able to talk. We loved all our dishes: lamb chops with mint sauce, ribs, spicy chicken, fettuccine with bacon and mushrooms, NY cheesecake. Excellent cocktails. Yummy!

I got into trouble for posting here instead of the Yelp! event page, but I'll leave my photos and videos here until I am able to upload them to that one (my review was shifted over, not completely eliminated!) If possible, it would be awesome if Yelp! tech support could merge my pics and vids below with my event review. Happy adventures!

Just for context, they offer indoor golf at this venue, but we just rented the party area downstairs which can accommodate ~50 people and is located next to the bar. We were looking for a place to celebrate my brother's 40th birthday, and LoungeX was really communicative and helpful in coordinating all of the logistics. The space was really well decorated and had a really nice sleek modern design. The staff were all really kind and spoke various languages which helped put my older family at ease. The food was impressive for buffet style -- cocktail shrimp, chicken rendang, fried chicken bites, fries, chicken parmesan, small filets of beef, fettucini, and fried rice. Honestly, nothing was super dry or salty, and it was surprisingly good, so much so that it was hard to decide who gets what leftovers. I also want to give them extra kudos for dealing with potentially belligerent parties known to drink in excess...basically, my brother and and his friends drink in excess, and while they're tame, they're quite loud. I imagine LoungeX deals with much worse in their time. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this venue for future events.

This was such a fun yelp event. I had the opportunity to meet with Coach john one on one. In just a 30 minute session, my swing went from beginner to expert. John is very patient and very knowledgeable in the sport. He provides a free first 30 minute session for all ages, kids and adults. Overall, the ambience of this place was very cool. It had everything from a large concert hall room to a large dining experience, even a small coffee café shop. I specifically really love the fact that they had a pool table upstairs as well as the mini golf and virtual golf. I would most definitely come back here for fun time with friends and family.

This place a truly a versatile event venue anchored with its private golf bays and karoake rooms, a great bar, a great cafe and wonderful food dishes to compliment any vibe. Whether it be a quick breakfast bite paired with it's special beans, a Sunday Brunch which is a perfect escape for the weekend or its evening lifestyle, it's truly a stop by anytime you can location. Friendly staff, great food and a myriad of entertainment options with a parking lot to boot. Definitely take the time to come by, as it's a short wall to the LIRR for city dwellers as well!

I first discovered this place during the Yelp Brunch series a few weeks ago and was so impressed by the space and food that I knew I had to come back with friends and family. This time, we booked one of the private VIP rooms for the golf simulator and karaoke--and it was such a blast. The rooms are spacious, swanky, and having your own private bathroom is definitely a plus. Right now, they're running a great summer deal: $400 for a 4-hour VIP room rental, including a top-shelf bottle of liquor and three appetizers. Since there were six of us, we ended up ordering more food, but overall, the package was still a really good value. The only downside was the service--it took over an hour for our bottle and appetizers to arrive. We didn't notice right away because we were busy singing, but eventually it became noticeable. Fortunately, the staff made it right in the end, which I appreciated. All in all, a great experience, and I'd definitely go back.

I had the pleasure of attending an event here for bunch. The presentation of the food was impressive. The brunch was reasonably priced. The service was pretty good and all of the staff were friendly. There are many other things you can do at this venue besides brunch. They have a coffee bar and upstairs has virtual golf. You can dress casual but there are a few places you can get some nice photos,

Definitely wanted the Irish Breakfast and the place made an exception because our server asked the cook if they can and they did!! It's a welcoming and cozy place especially on a rainy day! The menu stated they only serve this on the weekends but today was Columbus Day and since the crowd didn't start coming until a bit later I was able to get the Irish Breakfast I was craving! It was the best I ever had with huge pieces of black and white pudding! They don't serve them this size at a diner that is for sure! My husband was going to order the bangers and mash but they ran out of them so he got the Shepard's Pie which he said was tasty, filling and hit the spot. He had two Guinesses on tap and that was good as well. They also have unsweetened iced tea here which I ordered and enjoyed. Excellent service our server was on her own and did a phenomenal job even as the Pub got busier.

We started with an espresso martini, which was excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and a great way to kick off the meal. My husband and I each took a few sips before I remembered to snap a photo--always a good sign. For appetizers, the wasabi rock shrimp and spicy tuna crispy rice were both standouts--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed with great texture. We also ordered the 10 piece nigiri flight, which was consistently impressive. The fish tasted fresh across the board, with the uni being a highlight--rich, creamy, and exceptionally fresh. The shrimp tempura roll was delicious--crispy and well-balanced. The only dish that didn't quite land for us was the ebi hamachi futomaki. It wasn't bad, just not a favorite for my husband--I only remembered to take a photo when we were nearly finished. From the kitchen, we shared the black cod and sea bass--both outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked--definite highlights of the meal. For dessert, we shared the peach cobbler, which was a great finish. Warm peaches with hints of bourbon and cinnamon, paired with Japanese vanilla ice cream--comforting and well-balanced. Service was warm throughout, and the quality of the food was evident in nearly every dish. While it leans toward the higher end in price, the overall experience fell just shy of a full five stars--but was nevertheless very enjoyable.

Incredibly silly and unprofessional. Fine they don't want to seat the group at the bar because of a baby, at least offer the happy hour at the table that we were forced to sit at. No they didn't. We left. This isn't how you treat customers. People go out to eat to relax and have a good time. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with warm ambiance and great food options. This place was not it. I bet the food is probably horrible, hence the happy hour to get people in the door. Bad staff. Bad place. Go somewhere that cares for their customers.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.
