Wild place on a Sunday evening! Biggest piece of advice: call 30 min before you plan to arrive and you will essentially skip the line when you get to the restaurant. We were seated within 10 min of arriving, meanwhile there were probably 100 people in the foyer waiting. We sat in the bar area at a table. Jef was our waiter and he was attentive with refilling drinks. The complimentary bread and cinnamon butter was good. We came to celebrate my brother's birthday and he is part of their rewards program. On their website they advertise that you get a free app on your birthday however he never got the email with the coupon. When we explained this to Vilma the manager, she basically blamed it on corporate rules and would not budge on allowing the free app. First disappointing experience! Make sure you ask for peanuts or else they don't automatically bring them. I thought the portion size for the price was great. I had the 3 filet medallions with rice, a baked potato and Caesar salad. Steak was cooked medium, just how I ordered it. I wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders as they weren't crispy enough. The ribs were delicious and fell off the bone. We ordered the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert and wanted to sing to my brother. We waited 15 min for it to arrive. When Jef arrived with it, there was no ice cream on top and no candle to sing happy birthday. I'm not a fan of eating that way. However, I've only been disappointed by the actual food one time. Our steaks both came out undercooked and we couldn't find our waiter for quite some time. He was a young man, new to the job. We didn't hold it against him. This was my first time ever going to a Texas Roadhouse and it was pretty good! They start you off with some warm buns with cinnamon sugar butter, which were great. For apps, went with the Rattlesnake Bites, which are spicy little melty fried cheeseballs. I also had a refreshing glass of Sparkling Berry Bliss. For my entree, I felt adventurous and went with the Country Fried Sirloin with a cup of Texas Red Chili and Mashed Potatoes as my sides. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was and fairly tender. The chili has a lot of depth and was tasty, definitely on the thicker side so I doubt I'd ever be able to eat a whole bowl, and the ground beef in it was very good. My family and I visited for the first time in a Friday night and arrived at 830pm. We had previously joined the waitlist and receded within five minutes of arrival. The bread was baked, nice and fresh and the cinnamon butter was definitely a hit. Our server Glenny was really helpful and friendly. She listened well and explained all of the different options. The only hiccup that transpired during our dinner was that my son's steak was not cooked well done and was too bloody, which caused him to get sick because he stuffed two pieces into his mouth very quickly before it could be inspected. I also should've asked about what ingredients were in the mashed potatoes to avoid allergic reactions. Thankfully, Glenny was very responsive and attentive, and was able to help us problem solve effectively. As a server, she gets 10 out of 10. The food overall was great and the steak was well seasoned. The mac & cheese was also pretty good. In general, I would look forward to returning to this restaurant with more precautions next time. Visited Texas Roadhouse on 5/2/2026. Joined the waitlist at 5:48 PM for a party of 9 and weren't seated until 8:20 PM. Our server, Arely, was kind, attentive, and clearly doing her best despite how busy it was. Unfortunately, the food and management experience were disappointing. Two steaks ordered well done came out rare, another ordered medium well came out medium rare, and sides were missing. All steaks had to be sent back. My salad never arrived. After waiting again, one steak came back looking reheated, and I still had no meal. When I asked for a manager, Sam was dismissive, had a poor attitude, and acted as if the mistakes were ours. She brushed off my concerns and claimed she was the only manager, which wasn't true. When I asked for someone else, she walked away. Andy (kitchen manager) stepped in and was professional and helpful. In the end, my meal was removed and two steaks were discounted, but I left without eating. We still tipped Arely well because she truly tried. The issue isn't the server--it's management. I didn't expect free food, just correct meals and a simple apology. Went with my plus one had a great dinner tonight at the Texas Roadhouse in East Meadow! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The famous warm rolls with cinnamon butter were absolutely delicious, it's very hard not to stop eating them before the meal even arrives! Thankfully we were before dinner peak time and only about 10 minutes before we get to be seated. 4:30pm is already busy time for them but our order and serve weren't slow as Saturday dinner. I have always enjoyed Texas Roadhouse and have come here multiple times. The place was SOOOO busy on a Sunday around 6pm. I came here to celebrate a birthday. We have come here for birthdays in the past because if you're signed up for the rewards you get a free app on your birthday typically sent via email. We did not receive the email but figured we can ask the waiter or manager. The manager came over and said the account was probably closed if we didn't sign into the rewards program in a while. Why would we need to sign in to a random rewards program multiple times throughout the year just to keep the account open? The manager did not help and instead of providing customer service she blamed corporate. At the end of the meal we ordered the brownie sundae (brownie with ice-cream). After 10-15 minutes the server comes with a brownie only. He said he couldn't find the candles and they ran out of ice-cream. We said we didn't really want it if there was no ice cream to go with it. He asked if we still wanted to it again and we asked if he left it would we be charged for the whole dessert and he said yes. Again lack of customer service. Came on a Friday night and the place was already packed, though we were seated within 10 mins and the wait only got longer by the time we left. I am most amazed by how efficiently the restaurant runs. You are directed to your table by a staff with your ticket number and a basket of warm bread. Our server then greeted us and let us know they will be right with us while he checked on the food from another table. Menus were already at the table so we can start deciding right away. Food came out quickly and were delicious. Long Island Iced Tea was $5 and was pretty strong. The ribeye was cooked prefectly but I felt the bark on the ribs were a little burnt. The prime rib came out a little more rare than our preferred medium but that didnt stop by girlfriend from devouring it. If it wasnt for the two baskets of bread we pit down before our food came we might have been able to finish our entrees. I liked my food! But watch out for tricks when paying! This is a great place for teenagers and college kids, affordable and great amount of food. I don't know how they assign tables, but the two tables next to us all have different waitresses from ours; once our waitress leaves and not expecting more orders, it's hard to see her again for water refills or fix the check on the screen. Maybe she was also assigned to another table that's far from ours. The manager heard it's our first time there, came by with another bag of peanuts and a coupon for a free appetizer next time. The bread was so good that I couldn't stop eating, after two breads and some appetizers, I was already full. We overestimated how much we can eat and underestimated the serving sizes ended up taking home at least half of the food. Prime rib is surprisingly tender, definitely recommend to everyone! Chili and taters are just okay. The check comes in hard copy, but you pay on the screen on your table. Be careful with the game function on there, which charges $1.99. The screen was covered by menu the whole time, I don't really understand why would they build in this function when people are paying and leaving, at least would make more sense if they try to scam extra charge when people are waiting for food to arrive. Rainy Sunday evening in Long Island and we spent the earlier part of the day reading the Sunday papers online. Saw an obscure article that said "Texas Roadhouse has become the largest casual dining chain in the U.S., surpassing Olive Garden. This growth is attributed to a 14.7% increase in systemwide sales, reaching $5.5 billion, and the addition of 26 new locations." With a location about 10 miles away, a rainy Sunday evening was a good time to see for ourselves. We checked in on the app prior to driving out and thank Goodness we did. Even at 6:30pm, on a rainy evening, it was packed with people. The wait was about 45 minutes and the receptionist couldn't find any record of our check in. I showed her our confirmation number on our telephone and we were seated within 5 minutes. The 2 top was small, but adequate. We ordered the hand cut sirloin and bone in ribeye as recommended by the server. House salad, Caesar salad, sides of broccoli and steak fries well done. Also a side of the BBQ ribs to try a cross section of their menu. Both steaks were ordered medium rare. The sirloin came out medium and the ribeye was rare. Ribs were tasteless and unsauced. Sirloin was actually not terrible, well-trimmed, beefy flavor. The ribeye was mostly fat, gruel, poorly trimmed, and tough. It was uncuttable with the house steak knife. Fries were cool and chewy - we didn't eat them. The best part of dinner was the 2 salads, both crisp and cool and broccoli, which was still firm and bright green, not soggy. Our server Jeff did stop by to ask how our food was multiple times throughout dinner, but we didn't have the heart to tell him just how bad all the proteins and fries were. Loud and noisy, just like the name of the place. Probably our fault for expecting a pleasant surprise. Not sure why this is the largest casual dining chain in the U.S., but $5.5 billion in sales is not inline with our food experience here. Texas roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants and definitely one of the only good corporate restaurants left. When I parked, I noticed that it was really busy. There was people waiting outside. I walked into the hostess stand, and I told her it was only a party of one. She said I could be seated immediately at the Bar and there's no wait. As soon as I sat down the bartender, Erin introduced herself and offered me a drink. When I was ready to order, I ordered the filet mignon 6 ounce with a loaded sweet potato and also twisted mozzarella for the appetizer the twisted mozzarella was really good kind of like a mozzarella stick maybe a little bit softer very unique with its shape the sauce that it came with complimented it well. I had to wait a little bit for the entrée but that's not a big deal. I was enjoying my beer watching TV at the bar. Erin assured me that my food was coming out and then I told her once again there's no rush. When my food came out, of course I noticed the sweet potato was gigantic. It made the steak look small but I did order the 6 ounce steak so no complaint there. One thing I was a little disappointed was that the food wasn't hot. I still ate it. It's not a big deal. This location was very dirty and clearly needs a deep cleaning. Floors, tables, and overall dining area were not well maintained. It's nothing like it used to be back in the day, which is disappointing because this place used to be consistent. Quality and cleanliness have gone downhill. Not the experience I expected. read more

Been coming to this location for a while. Texas toad house is definitely a very reliable brand when it comes to food and service. When you order food and drinks, you know exactly what to expect and they are very consistent with serving standards. Parking is always an issue at this mall, always a wait. I wish there was an easier way to get drinks at the bar while waiting for a table, room was toght at the reception on Saturday evening at 6:30pm, we had made a reservation early in the afternoon so we knew what we were up against. Our server was very friendly and efficient, we order (2) burger with fries, wife had steak tips but order seems small given the price. Had the jumbo size margarita, which was very good.
