I absolutely love Texas road house , it's my absolutely favorite place to eat . The food is always amazing , the ambiance is fun and bright and the food is the best !!! I will continue to go because the service is also really good and the staff is so friendly.

The best part of Texas Roadhouse is the free bread! I can just eat bread and be happy. The staff was friendly but busy. It took a while to get our servers attention. The restaurant is always busy so thats pretty normal. The food is usually okay. Nothing special. Our group did say that we prefer the onion blossom here versus at an outback steakhouse. Portion size are decent and you will definitely leave feeling full.

This was my first time ever going to a Texas Roadhouse and it was pretty good! They start you off with some warm buns with cinnamon sugar butter, which were great. For apps, went with the Rattlesnake Bites, which are spicy little melty fried cheeseballs. I also had a refreshing glass of Sparkling Berry Bliss. For my entree, I felt adventurous and went with the Country Fried Sirloin with a cup of Texas Red Chili and Mashed Potatoes as my sides. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was and fairly tender. The chili has a lot of depth and was tasty, definitely on the thicker side so I doubt I'd ever be able to eat a whole bowl, and the ground beef in it was very good. The mashed potatoes were pretty okay, and I went with the brown gravy (beef based) for both the potatoes and the fried steak. The staff was also friendly here.

6.28.25. Love the cinnamon butter spread but that's about it.. service was non existent. Ordered a few cocktails from the bar. Weak. Orders ribs/fries well done for app. Ribs were great, fries were a soggy mess. Ordered a burger with chili and a filet with mashed and chili. ONE chili arrived.. who does it belong to???? Entrees arrived, filet was overcooked. Steak took forever to be corrected. And it arrived overcooked again!

I NEVER knew there was a Texas Roadhouse in Long Island, until today. I'm so glad I did. I visited today with my family, and we had a grand time. It's the usual setup for a Texas Roadhouse. Lots of indoor seating . Our waitress was wonderful, and had the foods and drinks flowing. We ordered a mix of things, all very fresh and so good. I will absolutely visit this branch now, as my family and I had a splendid time. Thank you again to my beautiful waitress, and the wonderful manager who also checked in on us often.

You know what you're getting at Texas Roadhouse. I hadn't been in a while and was craving that famous bread with cinnamon butter. As expected, the place has a rustic, wood-paneled interior with Western-themed decor. The vibe is consistent with other locations, and our server was friendly--something TR is known for. We started with the snake bites and followed with the petite Dallas filet and country fried steak. Sides included rice, Caesar salad, mac & cheese, and steak fries. The seasoning was solid across the board, though a bit heavy on the salt--it bordered on a sodium overload. Overall, the food is consistent, which is why I like coming here. Is it the best food ever? No--but it's reliably good, and sometimes that's exactly what you want.

First time and will the last time. I heard this franchise is super popular. The place is noisy and humming. The service was excellent. The food was average. I ordered a Caesar salad and some of the lettuce was frozen. Also, I ordered a 1/2 ribs and chicken combo dish. Fries were included. 70% of my dish were fries. The grilled chicken breast was dry. The ribs were dry too. I had to ask for extra sauce. My side dish was vegetables and they look unappetizing. The Sam Adams beer was bordering between room temperature and cold. Is there an Applebees nearby?

Went with my plus one had a great dinner tonight at the Texas Roadhouse in East Meadow! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The famous warm rolls with cinnamon butter were absolutely delicious, it's very hard not to stop eating them before the meal even arrives! I ordered the 6oz sirloin steak with sweet potatoes and broccoli, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and flavorful, the sweet potato was topped just right, and the broccoli was fresh and nicely seasoned. They also had an early dinner special tonight for just $13.99, which made the meal an even better value. Our waitress was very friendly and nice, she checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the service was quick and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by, especially for the early dinner special and those amazing rolls!

Second Time dining at this restaurant. Today, Waitress, Karla was very pleasant and checked on us several times, always with a smile. Husband, Kenny had the 12oz Ribeye with grilled shrimp and said it was good. I had the Grilled Salmon 12-ct which was good also but the side Sweet Potato was burnt & loss a pot of potato when took off the burnt skin. I also had the Strawberry Cheesecake which was delicious!! Although it was crowded, the ambiance was OK & not too noisy. The Legend Margaritas were good, next time will order w/o the black salt on rim to manage my blood pressure.

Another great dining experience at Texas Roadhouse, the decor is country western and you can go casual but on Easter Sunday a lot of folk dressed to impress. We called ahead to get on the waiting list so upon our arrival would expedite our wait to be seated. Soon after we sat down Stephanie came over and gave us a warm welcome. She was more than patient and she had a pleasant smith all evening. We started with the bread, which was a big mistake. The bread was deliciously hot. We both had our fill there i didn't do well at the end and couldn't consume my entire meal. We both ordered steak and ribs. She had 8 oz sirloin and I had 12oz ribeye. I did find the ribs a wee bit dry for me. The ribeye was delicious for as I requested it medium well. I had the green beans. Whew!!! Maaan then beans were sooo good, they will make you slap yo mama. I wanted another order but again, that bread. The wild rice was on point as well. The food was HOT , not like warm, not cold , nor even warm. I guess that's why it was so delicious. We ordered sangrias, do all women like frozen stuff? She had the frozen sangria and I, regular. Inky thing different was. I have been to sangria bars and the do serve it differently than other places. So the sangria was on the rocks. More like on a cluster. I prefered not to add a shot because I have a special license and didn't want to catch a DUI. So the place was packed; as any good restaurant should be, but everyone was doing their own thing and there were still space for intimacy, whether it was holding hands or having a serious conversation. I like the ubiquitous participation when someone celebrates their birthday, it's all good fun and I enjoyment.

    Huge Country Fried Chicken

Love this place. Never disappoints. Decided to not order my usual which is the 8oz. Dallas Filet. Went with the Country Fried Chicken w/house salad and a baked. Everything was huge and delicious, BUT, I'm going back for my usual next time. Other guest ordered Smothered Chicken which was very dry, chicken was overcooked. This place is very generous with portions. Waiter Brendon was a sweetheart of a guy.

Prime rib with a side of corn, Caesar Salad (not shown) and hot rolls with cinnamon butter

It was crowded on a Sunday night. But we put ourselves on a waiting list 20-30 minutes before we arrived. When we got there we still waited 10 minutes before we got a table. The lady led us to the table and placed down their famous rolls with cinnamon butter which were very good. The dining area was lively but not too noisy. Several games were playing on the big screen TV's around the room. The waitress Sharee was very friendly. She acknowledged us even though it was a very busy night and she was on her way to deliver drinks. She came back and realized that no one had given us utensils and immediately went to get us some. When she came back she took our drink orders and food order. Since we ordered prime rib she said she's going to put our order in first so that it doesn't run out before bringing our drinks and more rolls. At the end of the night we finished off 4 baskets of rolls. They were even better hot. The sides were basic but the star was the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare but there were some parts that were so fatty that it was inedible. Still it was great meal for a good price. We left satisfied.

The food is nice, it is a perfect place to eat when you're having fun with family. This is not a place to wear fancy clothes and be classy, more of a fun place. The waiters are nice though have a clear peppy facade but I guess they are just doing their job. The water is tap, keep that in mind. There is a wide food and drink menu. Overall, a good place to have a nice meal.

Do they take parties of 20 at this location?

I would call them. I go here very often and never seen over 10 people. My guess they can handle that in their section on the left when you walk in there is a section platformed they can section off.

Do they serve the prime rib at lunch time?

    Yes

How is the New York strip?

    All steaks are great

Is the Prime Rib really as good as people say?

Given the price, its a good piece of meat. I love the NY strip, delicious.

Do the $9.99 Early Dine dinner specials include 2 sides? Is there free bread and salad?

Yes it includes two sides but the salad is included on top of the two sides. You can make the salad one of the sides and yes there are free baked rolls with butter. I usually get the 6oz sirloin, caesar salad and baked potato for $9.99

As someone born & raised in flushing who grew up eating hotpot/kbbq, and often still eats hotpot -…read moreI'm honestly very impressed by the quality of K-city. I will preface this by saying I consider K-city a 5/5 for Long Island - probably a 4/5 if K-city was in Queens tbh. If i was in the Nassau area I default to K-city vs. Kpot! I mainly go to K-city for the hotpot vs. the kbbq/hot food selection. The bbq is okay but the grill itself is pretty small. The prepared food selection is also okay, includes both hot food & sushi but I mainly consider it as food to eat while my hotpot is getting ready (lol). The broths are very legit with the variety offered being spicy (mala with the Szechuan peppercorns), mushroom, pork bone, herbal ( I believe is a mix of pork & chicken + herbs), tomato and mushroom. My favorite thus far have been the spicy & herbal! I appreciate that the meats are also included in the buffet section as well so I can control the quantity as opposed to some other hotpot/bbq places where the meats come pre-portioned. I think the main drawback of K-City as opposed to Spring Shabu (my personal 2nd favorite choice in nassau) is definitely the veggie selection & quality. Having said that, the veggie selection is okay and has the main things I get like the enoki mushrooms, napa cabbage, broccoli and noodles.

A lot of people seem to give high praises of this place. Several friends and family even…read morerecommended to me. Of course the beast in me have to try! First off, yeah its a bbq/ hotpot kind of joint. AYCE of course. I have to say the little personal hotpots they give us are cute. The broth choices doesn't seem to matter tbh. Eventually you're chucking all types of seafood and meats that will make your broth good regardless. The pot is a bit on the smaller side if you choose 2 different broths. Hoping the 1 flavor one would be bigger but its the same. Cause of the split pot inside. As for the choices it's pretty standard hotpot stuff. Nothing too crazy to write home about. The grill side was a bit on the disappointment. Sure they have "marinated meats" but when I went they just chuck frozen galbi on top of the marinated meat. Not sure if they didn't have enough time for prep but I felt like the workers are just throwing things in for us animals to eat regardless of flavors. The cook station and sushi station was probably the most disappointing stations of them all. Majority of the cooked foods were cold. you would assume theres some kind of heat light warmer or steam bath to keep the foods warm but nope... most of them were just out and about and cold. The sushi station was lack lustered... selections were limited. Just your average carb city and fillers. The sashimi were not appealing imo. Overall, i felt like this place maybe good for younger audiences or family outings. Kids will like it cause of all the different types of fried/fast food styles. Also... just a tip for some of you out there. If you see raw oysters and raw clams with ice cubes on them... it's for HOT POT to COOK THEM IN! If you want the legit ones goto the sushi station for them... DONT EAT THE ONES AT THE HOTPOT STATION! MOST LIKELY YOU WILL GET SICK IF YOU DO! I'm pretty sure their were signs that state that ...but saw some of these "adults" SLURPING AWAY before even making it to the table... and im like...bro is gonna be on the toilet for sure... SO yeah.. BE SMART! READ BEFORE STUFFING YOUR FACE WITH THE RAW STUFF!
