The food and service matched on 8/30/25. My plus one wanted steak so we called up for reservations and no RSVP was needed. When arrived we had to wait for a table to be buffed. The ambiance was dressed down. We were seated and Diana our server, came over. We didn't have time to decide so we asked for a few more minutes and she gave us a whole lot of minutes. When she finally returned she was in a rush spewing out the choices on the menu that left us trying to figure out what she said without her repeating herself. So we had the 8 oz with a side and soup or salad and dessert. The price for this meal came out to $57 plus change so under $58. My plus one had to ask twice for lemon for her water, I had to go and get it because it never came and she had to ask twice for more bread. The steak had two different textures for both. One half was dry and chewy and the other half was moist and not that chewy. The chili was ok pretty good, spicy with chunks of meat. I thought it would have chopped ground beef. We were greeted and seated very quickly by the hostess. We ordered the blooming onion as an appetizer. First time having it and it was delicious. I definitely understand why this is a staple item on the menu. For the entrees we order the 6oz sirloin with the steak house baked potato and steakhouse mac and cheese as well as the sirloin and alice spring chicken with fries and a cesar salad. It's a moderate priced national chain steakhouse. That being said the Bloomin Onion is great but you need more than two people to eat it. Coconut shrimp were good too. The ribeye price reflects the size, but was very tasty. If you like a healthy pour for your drinks come thirsty. Great bartenders. Service was fair. Restaurant was fairly clean. It's not a 4 or 5 star steakhouse, and yet the meal was good and the price right. Lugers, Bryant & Copper or Outback? I'm not crazy the other two and many others are far better. Listen, for the price I'm not sure you can expect more...but I did. The pecan Caesar was awesome! A little too much dressing and less than crisp lettuce but the flavors were tremendous! My son wanted to come here with his grandparents to celebrate his birthday so we came for an early dinner on a Saturday around 4 pm. The place was still empty & a reservation was probably not needed even though I did make one. Our server, I forgot her name, curly long hair, always smiling & super sweet, was amazing and all the staff were very friendly & welcoming as well, which is why I gave an extra star. As for the food, we ordered the bloomin' onion, french onion soup, tasmanian chili, ribeye, prime rib, grilled salmon, 2 outbacker burgers and a mac 'n cheese kid's meal. Everything came out fairly quick & cooked well. However, the onion soup, chili, ribeye, salmon and mashed potatoes were extremely salty. I requested medium rare for the ribeye but it's more like medium. The burgers were good, prime rib was decent and salmon was perfectly grilled. Prepared with a delicious beef stock. - Sirloin Steak for my wife. She likes it really well done (ugh) but he brought it over just a tad below. She really enjoyed it. Tasty, well cooked, tender and savory. She also had the grilled asparagus with was very good. - Baby Back Ribs - I just loved these. They were cooked perfectly and were tender-tasty and plentiful. I seriously don't like to be negative but, sometimes, things need to be said. Virtually nothing about my time here was positive. I walked in and waited nearly 10 mins just to be greeted and the place was not at all busy. Upon being greeted, I was asked to sit at the bar. I said I'd rather not and was questioned why. Really?? I said I'd rather have a table and was seated well away from the "center" of the room. Another 10+minutes went by with no one even coming over. I actually had to call the restaurant and told them I was sitting and would like to order. The Manager came over, apologized, and took my order. He was very nice and seemed a bit upset about how I was treated. The food was ok, nothing really wrong but just ok. I used to come here often and was always happy with the food and service. So happy my friend and I came back to this Outback on Old Country Road. Alex our waiter recognized us right away and even the manager Kevin came by to say hi to us. horrible service, the food was absolutely atrocious.. very spicy and very cold inside the restaurant, (it's 57 degrees outside).. we asked for a medium well and the steak was practically raw, asked to take it back and please do redo it... came back the same basically mooing.. the lemonade tasted like pure lemons not sweet and very sour, drinks took an hour and so did the service and food.. that's all I have to say, do not come here and it's super expensive. Haven't been to outback in a very long time. I was craving the Aussie wings! Still didn't disappoint! Ordered a lemonade mocktail which was very tasty! Our server was nice in the beginning but I guess maybe because it was the end of the night she was a little irritated with our amount of request. The first request was my cousin asked about grilling the lobster tail. At first she stated they don't do that but decided to take the lobster tail back to the kitchen and the request was honored. It looked a little undone when it first came out as to why he made the request. 2nd I ordered the Cobb salad with ranch dressing. The dressing was under all the layers of the toppings and didn't realize at first so I ordered extra. I would've preferred the dressing on the side. After tasting the salad, something tasted off. I ate 2 bites and that's it. The server mentioned maybe because I was pregnant, the eggs would probably be the reason why I didn't feel good after eating because "when she was pregnant she didn't like eggs". Not that I normally request to take food items off the bill but most restaurants would offer something else. She didn't apologize or ask If I would prefer something else. Instead she offered me a to go box. After trying to eat it the next day, I had the same sick feeling. Something was definitely off with the dressing. The only thing these chain restaurants are good at doing is competing with each other to find the lowest common denominator in decent dining. I happen to love their wedge salad... it's honestly the best of any that I've ever had, anywhere. And the coconut shrimp, half the size that they once were a decade ago, but still very good. When I sit in the booth there, I immediately know what it is that makes them so out dated... it's the clumsy wooden, heavily lacquered with polyurethane tables and general dim atmosphere. Service was excellent, great knives. We have a set of the old wooden ones that I collected slowly over the years of my children's youth when we visited more often. The bar area wasn't loud at all, I expected it to be, but I was pleased that it wasn't. I started off with a Gingerbread Martini. It was super delicious. It cost $9.50, which is a pretty average price for a specialty martini. We started off with the yummy warm bread and butter. Are you even at Outback if you don't start with the bread and butter? It was delicious of course. My boyfriend and I shared the Bloomin' onion. It's so bad for you, but it's so delicious also! Mmm! And the dipping sauce is even more delicious. For my entree I got the bourbon bacon glazed salmon. It was mouth watering and very flavorful. I got it with a side of veggies. The veggies however were very under-seasoned....if seasoned at all. My boyfriend ordered Drovers Ribs and Chicken Platter with a baked potato. He enjoyed it, however he said some of the ribs were a little over cooked and a few bites all he tasted was salt. Overall the food was delicious. Our server, Debbie, wasn't so great. First off we were sitting in the bar area. The bar area is where all drinks are made...alcoholic or not. My husband and I stopped here last night for dinner. We were seated immediately in the bar area. Our waiter, Adam, came right over to greet us and offer a beverage. I decided I wanted to try the blackberry martini. It sounded so good. He warned it's very sweet. I ordered it anyway, and of course, it was sweet. I didn't drink it and I was not charged for it! Wow! Their menu is great and we weren't sure what to order. It all sounded good. We asked Adam for suggestions. He gave us three very good suggestions. We started with the wedge salad. Huge portion. The iceberg was fresh, cold and crisp. The tomatoes and onions were delicious. What we liked the most was that they drizzle a sweet balsamic vinegar over the wedge, and then, top it with homemade blue cheese dressing with nice chunks of blue cheese. Absolutely perfect and delicious! Then onto the ribeye steak. It was cooked exactly the way we ordered. I ordered medium well, but I think next time I'll order medium. The steak was tender and flavorful. Really good. The mashed potatoes were delicious. They had substance with a couple of chunks of potatoes. Delicious! I also want to mention the coconut shrimp is an absolute must. The shrimp are perfect and the dipping sauce is out of this world! Adam is the waiter you want in every restaurant. He was busy but always found the time to stop by our table to make sure everything was ok and if we wanted anything else. When we asked for the bill, he took about 30 seconds to bring it over.
