So many Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp**when you make it an entree
    Barry H.

We hadn't been here for a while, but decided to spend our anniversary dinner at the outback. Did not regret our selection. The food is still excellent, portions are great and the prices are better than so many other places. Including cocktails that were delicious. My wife had an entrée sized coconut, shrimp, enough shrimp for three people; and I had the steakhouse salad, which is so good, especially when I put pieces of what was left of our Bloomin onion appetizer in it.

It's a moderate priced national chain steakhouse. That being said the Bloomin Onion is great but you need more than two people to eat it. Coconut shrimp were good too. The ribeye price reflects the size, but was very tasty. If you like a healthy pour for your drinks come thirsty. Great bartenders. Service was fair. Restaurant was fairly clean. It's not a 4 or 5 star steakhouse, and yet the meal was good and the price right. Lugers, Bryant & Copper or Outback? I'm not crazy the other two and many others are far better. But sometimes you don't want to decide between a car payment and a steak dinner. That's a good time to try Outback.

This is a gentleman's C. The porterhouse steak was tough and dry and o ordered it medium but it came back medium rare. It was under seasoned too. They fixed the temperature but not the taste. Listen, for the price I'm not sure you can expect more...but I did. The pecan Caesar was awesome! A little too much dressing and less than crisp lettuce but the flavors were tremendous! The potato was average but no better. It was a a little small for a steakhouse. The onions were fine as were the mushrooms...not great but not terrible. A bit noisy and the chairs were uncushioned! .

My son wanted to come here with his grandparents to celebrate his birthday so we came for an early dinner on a Saturday around 4 pm. The place was still empty & a reservation was probably not needed even though I did make one. Our server, I forgot her name, curly long hair, always smiling & super sweet, was amazing and all the staff were very friendly & welcoming as well, which is why I gave an extra star. As for the food, we ordered the bloomin' onion, french onion soup, tasmanian chili, ribeye, prime rib, grilled salmon, 2 outbacker burgers and a mac 'n cheese kid's meal. Everything came out fairly quick & cooked well. However, the onion soup, chili, ribeye, salmon and mashed potatoes were extremely salty. I requested medium rare for the ribeye but it's more like medium. The burgers were good, prime rib was decent and salmon was perfectly grilled. We weren't really a fan of the bloomin' onions- they were greasy and just not that great. Overall, we had a good experience & will definitely be back again soon!

Almost forgot to take a photo, sorry eating in progress.

Dinner with a co worker. Sat at bar. Bar tender female with dark long hair was less than charming. She did her job but not so enthusiastic. I had a sirloin with grilled shrimp. Sides of broccoli and a salad. The meal was very good , only issue the broccoli was rather aged and had black marks on the stem where the broccoli was cut. This occurs when the broccoli gets old.

    Welcome to outback!

Every once in a while you get to be part of the perfect experience. visit to Outback was no exception. I was seriously impressed with the team here. From the moment we walked in until we sat down, ate and ultimately left. we were greeted with a big smile at the door. The hostess politely asked us to have a seat by the door and told us our table would be ready very soon.... It was. we were immediately greeted by our waiter who brought us the house bread and butter. He came back a few minutes later to take our order. - Onion Soup - My wife likes the cheese well done and it was prepared perfectly. I had some and found it tasty and rich, leaving me wanting more. Prepared with a delicious beef stock. - Sirloin Steak for my wife. She likes it really well done (ugh) but he brought it over just a tad below. She really enjoyed it. Tasty, well cooked, tender and savory. She also had the grilled asparagus with was very good. - Baby Back Ribs - I just loved these. They were cooked perfectly and were tender-tasty and plentiful. My side was the steak-house mac and cheese. This was perfect. Great noodles and plenty of thick-creamy-tasty cheese. Overall, I was totally impressed with this meal and dining experience. The waiter was always around and keeping an eye out. The restaurant was very busy with both families and date-night couples. They also have a terrific bar where many peole come to hang out and watch some TV. They defianely do it well here. KUDOs to the team at Outback Steakhouse.

I even received a rose for the occasion! However, we waited 10 minutes before someone finally approached us and asked, 'Is anyone helping you? Are you okay with tap water?' I understand it was a busy Valentine's Day weekend, but I expected a proper greeting rather than just being asked about tap water. When she brought the water, she asked if it was our first time. We said yes, expecting a brief explanation of the restaurant's concept. Instead, she just said, 'Technically, the meats will come to you, and you can go to the market and get anything you want. That's our special for tonight, you can go ahead and head over to the marketplace.' We went to the 'marketplace,' and it was delicious! We tried several items, and everything was tasty and fresh. Salads. Cold cuts. Rice. Beans. Zero complaints there. Back at the table, the gauchos began bringing the meats--filet mignon, picanha, sausage, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service, however, stayed subpar. My mango caipirinha arrived five minutes later, but my husband's Coke never showed up. We waited all dinner for it and never received it. Our waitress only came back once because we flagged her down for water, and then again for the check. Even the tables around us were wondering where she was. This was extremely disappointing!!! Zero smiles or a nice tone from Her. The food was delicious (5 stars), but the service she provided was definitely 0 stars. I want to come back for the food, but the service is making me think twice.

Their flavors were rich and perfectly seasoned. There was even some grilled pineapple between meats to facilitate consumption. Drinks are strong and creative. The parking situation was not too bad on early evening during the weekday, but I could totally see it get out of hand on the weekends, so plan accordingly. We were sat right away and the lovely server dropped a basket of bread while we peered through the menu. The free bread is quite good. We were all starving, so the cheesy chewy bread was great to munch on. I am also much more forgiving about a bit of wait for food if there is free bread being offered. It was also nice because we were seated right by the kitchen window, so it was like getting a dinner and a show. We got the Saporite, which reminded me of a Costco chicken bake with its creamy innards punctuated by grilled chicken. This is my brothers favorite, and I could see why. We also had the spaghetti seafood, which was so richly flavored with the seafood. I'm not sure I ever had Italian pasta so full of that umami seafood flavor. Truly wow. The ravioli verde was something we got to add something not-tomato based & it was an excellent choice. The sauce was verdant and creamy. The ravioli filling didn't feel like straight ricotta but I liked whatever they had done to it! The chicken parm was also a solid choice, good breading on hefty cutlets of chicken and a nice helping of charred cheese on top. We liked every single dish, and the portions were more than enough to feed all of us and leave leftover for the next day. I was especially touched by the professionalism of the young servers during what was becoming an increasingly crowded dinner service. We got extra bread, waters filled, and to go boxes promptly. The hype was surprisingly real. I guess I should not be surprised that a place that's been around since my childhood has withstood the test of time because it was good. Will revisit soon for lunch service.

We arrived a few…read moreminutes early and were seated upstairs, tucked all the way into a corner next to two very large parties. There was no window, no decorations--just a corner. On Christmas Eve, it felt especially disappointing. I went back downstairs to politely ask if it might be possible to move to a more festive table. While speaking with the host (who was accommodating), I overheard the bartender walk by and tell him to "seat them at the bar." This comment really caught me off guard. Our party included my teenage son and my parents, both in their 80s, so the remark felt rude and unkind. It's Christmas Eve and she wanted us to sit at the bar facing the tvs showing basketball games. It left a very bad taste in my mouth and honestly overshadowed much of the evening. I've dined here several times before and never experienced anything like that. I completely understand that it was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was busy, but interestingly, a larger table was seated after us and their order was taken before ours and they were served before we were, which added to the frustration. As for the food, I was excited to order the Cacio e Pepe because the last time I had it here, it was prepared tableside. That didn't happen this time, which I was flexible about given the holiday, but unfortunately it tasted like plain pasta with butter--no pepper flavor at all. The calamari appetizer was just okay. My dad enjoyed his pasta with Bolognese sauce, and my son said his spaghetti and meatballs were fine. Typically, the food here is much better, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, the bartender's comment was the most disheartening part of the night and is the main reason I don't see myself returning. I was especially grateful that my mother didn't hear it, as it would have been very upsetting to her and unlike myself she would have and rightly so put the bartender in her place.
