Me and my family went to this location on Cortaro last Tuesday, as we do often. We were sitting about to order our food and over heard a very tall man, dressed in all black talking very rudely to one of the female employees. I asked our server if that man worked there and said yes, he is a manager. As we weren't ready to order yet, we asked the waiter to return in a few minutes. I noticed the female was crying and still seating people, even though she tried hiding it, I could still see the tears running down her face. I felt so bad for her. I was absolutely appalled by this behavior from a manager. This is disgusting behavior! I wonder if he was able to do that in front of people what happens when no one is around? Does he treat them worse? Since I am a regular here, I have experienced lots of different employees and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone has been very sweet and I really love coming to this location because of how good I am treated. After witnessing that, I don't want to return. read more

What a meal for $10. In a rewards member and eat at Chili's quite often while on the road nationwide. I usually order the Cajun chicken pasta because the steaks are usually tough and undercooked. I felt like a steak today and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! This steak was cooked perfectly medium. I've only had comparably cooked steaks at Texas Roadhouse. The cut of steak wasn't as good, but whoever prepared it is an excellent chef. The service was quick and courteous. Waitress was excellent! Chips came out warm and fresh. I was given a refill quickly when my drink got to about half full. The loaded mashed potatoes were great as was the broccoli amazing enough. What a well ran restaurant. This was by far one of the safest restaurants we have been in since covid. They had it every other table, limited capacity, actual sanitized every table, and provided hand sanitizer. Haven't been to a Chili's in a while. My friends and I always have a great time. Never been to this location, but I'd say hands down, best service for a Chili's in Tucson! The server was very friendly and attentive, especially since it was during the lunch time rush. We got our drinks right away and shortly thereafter got our food, probably 15-20 minutes in between. Not too bad! At Chili's the prices are always reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. I ordered off the lunch menu...They got $6, $7, & $8 lunch combos that come with an entree and a soup or salad. I went with the Southwestern Mac N Cheese with the Spicy Southwest Chicken & Sausage Soup. Ya, I kept it with the SW theme, plus the waitress said it's a bit spicy...I like spicy! It went very well with my margarita! =) I was surprised that the mac n cheese was very tasty! Lots of chicken and very cheesy with a little southern spicy kick to it! Good enough that my kids would've loved it too! The soup was as good as the waitress said it would be...Chicken, sausage & white beans with some veggies in a flavorful garlic chicken broth. Topped with crispy tortilla strips! MMmm! All in all this was one of the better Chili's experiences I've had. Didn't have to wait long at all, and no need to flag down servers! The night initially started horribly when my wife and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings with our 4 month old daughter and was told by the hostess that we were not allowed to bring her stroller in. We were in shock and disbelief. We ultimately decided to leave and go to this Chilis as we have had good service in the past. When we got to Chilis it was a completely different experience then what we experienced at Buffalo Wild Wings. This time we went in with our daughter in the car seat. We were greeted right away and taken to our table. Chilis even offered us a sling to put the car seat in. Mark was our waiter and he was phenomenal. You could tell that he was passionate about his job and really just wanted to make others happy. As soon as he greeted us he was full of energy and very polite. Throughout the night he made sure to interact with us and hold conversation. All the while he was also attending to other customers. My wife and I who had started the night with a horrible experience, ultimately ended it with an amazing one. Mark didn't just treat us as just another customer. Mark went above and beyond to make are visit memorable. The food was amazing and fast. When it was delivered they made sure that the steak was cooked to our liking. This is definitely the Chilis we will be going to from now on. read more

I can't remember the last time I was at a Chili's. We came here on a Saturday evening around 5:30 and the place was packed but there were a couple open tables so we were seated after they cleaned off a booth for us. The staff was prompt and friendly which was a nice change of pace. The food was average - what you would find at a typical American chain restaurant. I unfortunately was not very hungry so I did not order what I normally get there, which are the ribs. They are usually amazing. I ended up getting their Southwest Chicken Caesar Salad which was pretty underwhelming. It lacked flavor and was not something I would order again. I do, however, love their blackberry iced tea. This location did not disappoint with their tea. It was so refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness! I always get that whenever I go to Chili's. All in all I will be back here but I will come when I am more hungry and get the ribs! read more

We frequently go to eat at this Chili's location and I do have to admit, sometimes the service and food is inconsistent in quality. Today however, our waiter Sam was fantastic and he was attentive as well. We seated ourselves in the bar area and we were promptly attended too. Not all of our party had arrived but he checked in with us, brought our drinks, and an appetizer too. We never had to wait for him to come by to ask him something, he was doing exactly what he should have. When our other family member arrived, we ordered out food and everything.m came out as expected. The menu had changed recently and we did lament at the lack of vegetarian options but my husband and I decided on a black bean burger. I think last time I got Alex's Southwest Burger? It was delish. This particular location has improved by leaps and bounds over the past few years in terms of service. Maybe they stopped hiring the Picture Rocks crowd? The servers used to be kind of ... trashy, and I remember going in one time, standing at the front for 5 minutes, leaving and going to Baggins. I quit going here after that for a couple years, but have been back a few times recently, and the service at this point is top-knotch! Way to turn the place around! read more

It's been about 5 years since I ate here and I was really pleased with everything! I ordered online which as straightforward and allowed for some customizations. I called to verify my order and make sure some things were included (like my fries didn't show up on the order screen as part of the meal) and the lady who answered was super friendly and verified everything quickly. When I arrived, it took only a moment for the runner to come to the To Go pickup area and I was out the door. All the food was made perfectly and for the amount I paid, we got a LOT of food. I recommend the honey chipotle chicken crispers and of course their chips and salsa! The only thing that would have made my ordering easier is if they allowed for gift cards to be entered online. A server arrived within minutes and asked for our drink order. My husband ordered the prime rib tacos. It comes with rice and beans, but he did not want the beans or a substitute (which she offered). I ordered off the "Lighter Choices" the 6 oz. classic sirloin with grilled avocado and a fresco salad. We both had iced tea. We were both satisfied with our entrees. I ordered my steak rare and it was served rare. My side salad was fresh with a light lemony dressing. The tomatoes where overcooked and mushy (see photo) My husband enjoyed his tacos. The menu was quite extensive with many options. The layout of the restaurant is more of a sports bar type atmosphere. Several TVs around the restaurant with sports games playing on them. There were many tables, but did not seem crowded. The place was very clean. The parking was very easy. The service was amazing. The server was attentive and quite funny. The atmosphere was very relaxing and family friendly. There was a tablet on the table that offered games for children to play for $1.99 for unlimited games. I would have loved this when our kids were young. You were able to order dessert and coffee and even pay your tab on the same tablet. This was the first time I saw one of those and really thought it was ingenious. The cost of our meals was moderate and the quality was good. I would recommend going. read more

Chili's has to be one of my least favorite family chain restaurants out there. The food is never really spectacular and the service always tends to be hit or miss. Personally, if I frequent any chain restaurant at all it is becuase of the consistency and that is one thing Chili's has never had- in my experience. This visit I was very impressed with the Skinny margarita. It was made with all natural, sugar-free ingredients and the Patron was delicious. It was very drinkable and at only 110 calories, I felt great about drinking it too! Im not one who usually cares about caloric intake from alcoholic drinks, but this made me think twice about it! If I can avoid coming here, I absolutely do. The only times you will ever see me here is if I am meeting people and I had no say in the location. Eat here if you must, but life is too short to be wasting a meal at a place like this. read more

My wife and I ate here yesterday. The workers were nice. That is pretty much the end of anything good. The Burbon I drink they dont carry. So I went with a second choice. They had it. When I wanted another drink, they were out of what I just had. We got fried pickels that tasted like old oil. My hamburger was just ok. Not bad. Not that good. The fries were pretty good. Someone must have also tripped the alarm or fire exit because we could hear the siren coming from the kitchen for over 20 min. The waiter never refilled my drink. I've debated on whether or not to write this review because it means I first have to admit that I ate at a Chili's and second It means I have to relive the experience... but this was just over-the-top terrible. Two weeks ago my mom and I decided to grab a quick dinner at this Chili's. Our first warning sign that this would not go well was the fact that as we were led to our table our feet literally stuck to the ground with every step due to, what I'm assuming was, a spilled soda that no one had bothered to clean up. We were led to the only clean table amidst 10 empty but totally filthy tables piled high with other diners dirty dishes. At that moment we sat there, stunned, surrounded by plates full of other people's half-eaten burgers, looked at each other and debated on whether or not to stay. We were absolutely starving so we thought we would chance it... Not a good call. The food was terrible the service was slow which I really don't understand because the restaurant was not that busy. By the time the waiter showed up to take our drink orders we knew what we wanted to eat but he wouldn't take the food orders because he wasn't ready for them yet. Huh? Apparently he could only handle grabbing our diet Cokes at the moment... those ended up making their way to our table about 15 minutes later and we had to ask for straws and silverware about three times. The waiter was making a big show about how busy he was but as far as we could tell he only had about two tables so we didn't quite understand what he was talking about. We decided to split fajitas and I'm pretty sure that the meat Chili's is buying it nowadays must be the cheapest lowest quality meat they can find. You can taste the preservatives in it so much it barely even tastes like something resembling meat. If I had been able to get a refill on my diet Coke at some point it might have been easier to choke it down, but unfortunately that did not happen either. All that being said, I do understand that this is a Chili's and I'm not expecting white tablecloth's however I do expect a basic level of cleanliness and decent service. Pair that with a subpar prison quality food and we will not be returning.... However at this point I highly doubt anyone working there cares anymore- it's pretty clear they quit caring a while ago at this place. read more

Not sure why all the hate for this Chili's! Sometimes going to chain restaurants is a guilty pleasure I enjoy when I am traveling for work outside of LA. I usually get the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, no bacon. As usual, sat in the bar. I like how they have the thing in the bar where you can pay at the table. Sometimes the sever forgets about you because of this, but not here! Tye came by to make sure the food was good, brought some badly needed extra napkins before I could even ask, offered me my watermelon lemonade to go, and brought a printed check in case I didn't want to use the table thing. You know when you take your family to eat dinner and you don't do it that often, there is an expectation of service and food quality that must be there when spending upwards of 50.00 to eat out. This Chili's food was just gawd aweful. Our sample platter chicken was stone cold... yes I mean stone cold. I ordered the light calorie Chicken Salad and I was just sorely disappointed in it. The salad had little to NO corn, beans and the chicken was (again) stone cold and even though it was from the lighter side menu, the thing was listless and almost totally flavorless. Chili's has really taken a turn downward and it shows. I can't recommend them (this or any other Chili's) anymore and if you are reading this and are looking for good local food the Boston's directly across the road is 10 times better service and food quality. We've been there twice and no comparison to Chili's!! And no, I DO NOT work for Boston's just trying to steer people to a place where you get value for your hard earned dollar. read more

The food was just fine, but the service was lacking. This location has been recently renovated and the staff are up-selling these new service kiosks that sit at your table and allow you to virtually scroll through the menu, play games and pay your bill. I thought it looked pretty cool at first. Turns out that kiosk thing was not so great. It didn't actually allow us to order anything but dessert (which we didn't get) and when our waiter saw us playing with it, he would go away thinking we weren't ready for service yet so it took a frustratingly long time (15-20 minutes) for someone to actually come to our table just to start our drink orders. It took so long to get a waiter to help us that we considered walking out if we had to wait much longer - we just wanted some dang food! The kiosk has a "bill pay" function which doesn't work. We asked the waiter about it and he said that our kiosk was on the wrong table and likely mixed up with a kiosk at another table so it's not going to accurately reflect our order or bill. Sorry, but what is even the point of that stupid thing if you can't let your patrons use it correctly? Until they update this service, just stay away from those kiosks and things should be OK. I'm also hoping that they speed up the service at this location. read more

Went to have late lunch at 1pm. Two of us were seated immediately as there were empty seats all around. Shortly there after we ordered our salads. After new diners were seated all around us, after they all were served their HOT meals and bar drinks and after we had waited an HOUR for our COLD salads, we were finally served! We were told that our salad was made wrong and had to be remade. REALLY, does it take an HOUR to remake a COLD salad? We will not be back to this restaurant any time soon!
