Very good service and food. Loved the chicken enchiladas soup. The best soup I had. The food is super affordable.

Upon arrival the server Aj took a total of 13 minutes to greet us. When we finally did place an order our drinks were brought over to the table with no straws. I order the old timer double burger specifically with only lettuce and cheese they bring it out with everything on it. My fries were also cold and hard. I let the server AJ know and he has the manager bring me a bun over and i'm still letting him know this was not satisfactory and he says okay and walks off. To avoid any issues we just try and pay and on our check there were random charges that needed to be taken off. The level of customer service here is in the trash . I wouldn't buy a dog food from this location . New year's eve ruined I should have chosen a better place to dine.

I hate to leave bad reviews for anywhere but it will be a long time before I come back here again Between the burnt food I received and the lack of attentive service ( it wasn't busy when we arrived there) our waitress disappeared for 45 minutes to the point we had to leave a note on the table to let them know we went to the bathroom and to bring g us a to go box Never got asked if I wanted another drink the entire time I was there , I asked for coffee they didn't have it wasn't given any napkins after they took all of them off the table I had to pay via the computer thing on the table because god only knows how long it would have taken to get the check and our credit card returned I know the pandemic has hit restaurants hard with lack of help but seriously? This visit was horrible

Takes too long for lunch. A simple lunch combo and glass of water shouldn't take over an hour especially when the restaurant isn't packed.

Having food allergies can sometimes be a bit review - disabling to be fair to the restaurant owner…read more My reviews are therefore based on the establishment's ability to accommodate food, allergies, service, selection and presentation, and the flavor. LOCATION: This is a pleasant restaurant in a high traffic area of a dying mall. You'll find it in what used to be T.J. Maxx, Plaza this is the same plaza. That house is Midas, and Millspaugh furniture. The restaurant is actually larger than it looks from the outside with a pleasant patio space that was well-kept. it's what you expect of a Mexican restaurant: the paint, palette, tile, flooring, and artwork or appropriate and pleasant. This is not a fancy place still bring the kids. Although I was not there to drink, it does seem like they have a pretty big variety of tequila so specialty cocktails should be no problem. THE MENU: as always, before taking a seat, I explained to the host that I have food allergies and asked if it could be accommodated. He said, of course, and I was seated at a very clean table. The selection is very straightforward with an added option of a three-course meal. $21 got me a small appetizer, small entrée, and a dessert. Perfect for a lunch, or someone who does not have an enormous appetite, as my case. They were able to accommodate my food allergy without serving me a salad. You may be laughing, but this is usually my option. I was grateful for the opportunity to have some Mexican food prepared at a nice little place.RECOMMENDED: FLAN. The flan was creamy and rich. Really delicious. Service was very nice although I don't know that he is Latino. He did speak Spanish and communicated with others in the restaurant. For lunch with friends or drinking appetizers after work, I would recommend this restaurant.

We have been here a couple of times, it's my cousin favorite Mexican restaurant. She introduced us to Salsa. If we are in the area, we will come here I have no complaints about their margarita, fajita, their guacamole, is one of the best I've ever had. Everything they make us very good. Never have I've been disappointed.

She makes eating there feel like you are in her home. Every thing tastes so fresh. Last time I was there I had the shrimp tacos, yesterday I had a chicken burrito grande. And it was GRANDE. Probably could've shared it! My husband always gets enchiladas suizas and is never disappointed. Dessert is always tres leche cake. Kudos to the baker at El Azteca! They also have a food truck at the Farmers Market near Vassar College. Give them a try!

I believe it's the owner who was serving at the time and even aside from my interaction, she was super kind and helpful to others. There's plenty of classics on the menu but there's also some more unique foods like Sopes or Tlayudas. I ordered the Tlayudas with chicken tinga and devoured it (apologies to anyone who saw me sloppily making my way through) Tlayudas reminds me of a giant tortilla chip with its toppings piled on top. Think lettuce, queso fresco, avocado and beans. A knife was provided but I found it easier to tear into the tortilla and eat with my hands. Paired with a Tamarind Jarritos and free chips and salsa, it was a satisfying meal after a long day of hunger. Overall, if you're in the area looking at the foliage, stop by El Azteca for some marvelously delicious Mexican food!

We had reservations for a 9 person party (which I realize is large), and had to still wait 30 minutes to be seated, which was a little annoying but the staff was attentive and consistently kept us updated. Once seated, the staff continued with excellent customer service throughout dinner. I tried the below dishes: Appetizer Nachos: Just like it sounds, tortilla chips smothered in cheese, beans, and a protein. These were really tasty, above average compared to comparable establishments. Appetizer Beef Empanadas: Ground beef wrapped in a corn based dough and fried. The beef mix was seasoned well but a little dry. I probably would not get these again. Chile Relleno: Though not much to look at, the pablo peppers stuffed with chicken was but seasoned and fried well. Again, above average. Cochinita Pibil: Slow roasted pork topped with pickled onions and served with corn tortillas. Absolutely incredible! The pork was both juicy and fork tender. The best roasted pork i've had in years! Overall an excellent experience and I'd recommend to anyone craving Mexican Cuisine in the area!
