Classic Sirloin* with Avocado - 10oz
    Mike G.

Reminder to myself to stop getting the steak here. I used to get the guiltless sirloin, which I stopped getting because it was so bad. My daughter had the classic sirloin on one visit and loved it, so we've both gotten it twice since....and it's been bad both times. I sent mine back last night because my medium steak was rather grey and very tough. It was taken back and remade...more rare than medium on the second try, but whatever. Still really tough and tasteless. Broccoli and asparagus were both undercooked. Asparagus was too heavily salted. When looking at the bill, I thought they had taken mine off the bill and comped it...but what they actually comped was the re-make of my first steak. I realize it's Chilis, but $24 for bad steak isn't a good deal. My daughter left a good part of hers...I brought a decent amount of mine home for the dog...and she found the steak tough as well. Of course, she ate it, because she's a dog. Service was fine, but the food was bad.

We did not come by for a five star meal, it's chilis. The wait staff was amazing and on top of it. The Mango margarita was on special and it was great! The chips and salsa were good, salsa a bit sweet. The cheese sticks were crispy and had the "cheese pull" but a bit lack luster in flavor. Mushroom burger was good but didn't have many mushrooms and a little overcooked. We will likely come back for their well Known margarita specials and have a meal while knowing this is a chain restaurant and it's good, but not michelin star, and that is okay!

First time visiting this Chili's location in Castle Rock. Haven't been to a Chili's in a while! As I entered the restaurant it brought back memories. The last time I dined at a Chili's was probably back in 2019. This location is clean, attentive and has friendly staff along with decent food. I liked my waitress. She made sure my food was cooked to order and that I had everything I needed. I ordered a side salad with ranch dressing and the Double Old Timer Burger with Cheese. The burger came to my table near picture perfect. My only suggestion is to offer a bit more fries. If you like a nice "grease burger" this is the one for you! I recommend ordering it. I liked that the bun was fresh and didn't completely fall apart after a few bites. Food was decent and VERY reasonably priced. For the side salad, burger with fries and soda, the bill was very reasonable. Kudos to Chili's for not raising prices to make up for loss of profits. I was very pleased with my total bill of sale. I will probably return here at a later date but I'm in no hurry as there are so many restaurant options these days along with new ones to try. Check out this Chili's location as it's not far from the Meadows Pkwy and I-25 exit. Hope you have a good experience!

Stopped at Chili's after the Renaissance Festival. Sat at the bar, service was great. My bf and I split the SmokeHouse Platter w/ribs. Chicken Crisper wasn't very good, dry for my taste, but ribs and fries were good. Signed up for rewards and got free chips and salsa, but you have the option for a free drink instead of chips.I was told you get free chips and salsa every time you go to Chili's. Restaurant wasn't too busy around 3 pm. Overall restaurant was clean except bathroom could've used a little work.

Dry and brown corn on the cob.

Ordered takeout, it's was absolutely terrible. I am pretty sure we were served left overs. The white queso was disgusting, it had curly noodles and was like water. The guacamole was brown. The salsa had a weird taste and looked like ketchup was added. The corn on the cob was brown and dry. The top of my bun on my Old Timer was missing a chunk of crust and looked something happened to it. I called to let someone know, so another customer wouldn't have this experience. They told me a manager will call me. Never received a call. I never leave reviews on yelp, but this was so disappointing after spending over $38.00 plus tip, I couldn't even eat it. We usually get Chili's once a month, never again. Chech out the pictures of the queso and corn.

During a lunch rush they thought it'd be a great time to close down half of the restaurant. There were plenty of booths in the bar area and we asked to be seated in a booth, well we were given dirty looks by the hostess, and then even dirtier looks by what seemed like the manager because we didn't want to sit at a normal table with our child who cannot sit still. Food took awhile to come out, which was expected since it was packed. But I didn't think any of our food would come out cold. I hated everything about my mushroom burger. My daughter wouldn't even touch her cold chicken pasta. My husbands steak however he said was good he just wished it was cook correctly but it was fine for him.

Hefty portions but ask for check early! Our machine was broke and our waitress was covering a lot of real estate! Food was great! Staff friendly just a long wait to be in our way and we were needing to get other things done .

I love their breakfast burritos and will drive downtown once every 4-5 weeks and walk up to their window and order a couple to go. The salsa is also fantastic and having that burrito while watching football on a Saturday or Sunday morning is awesome! It's just... so darn pricey! Anyway... most of downtown CR restaurants are also expensive, so if you're going to spend - at least enjoy what you bought! Eh... screw it, I'm heading back this weekend!

I am happy to pay a bit more for a great meal, but with small portions and a limited menu Dos Santos does not deliver against what they are charging. While the service was very good, the space is really compact so it made it feel like I was seated with the table next to mine. It also made it difficult to physically eat our food as the dishes barely fit on the small tables. The menu seems over-engineered lacking some basic options without one ingredient that tries to justify the outrageous price tag of their tacos. Overall if you like taking a second mortgage on your house to leave hungry and unsatisfied, while learning about the next tables life because they are nearly sitting on your lap, you may like Dos Santos.

The service was very friendly. We all had the house margarita, served in a salt rimmed pint glass. They were weak and none of us wanted a second. I had the lunch special "crispy chile relleno". I love chile rellenos so this was definitely a must for me. What I did NOT realize is it's a relleno rolled in a corn tortilla and deep fried. Reminded me more of some type of fusion egg roll. It was good, not great. The rice was ok, no real flavor. The refried beans were a bit soupy, running all over everyone's plates. Too bad, because they tasted great (lard is good!). I got a side order carne asada taco and it was cooked well and tasty. I would rate this place as average. The only saving grace was my wife's chicken fajitas. STILL ONE OF MY GO~TO SPOTS…read more If you're in Castle Rock and need a breakfast burrito that's fast, filling, affordable, and actually worth getting excited about, put Santiago's on your morning rotation. The breakfast burritos are the move. Choose your heat ~ mild, half & half, or hot ~and let that Colorado green chile do its thing. Even better, they have Burrito of the Day specials Monday-Saturday, so there's always an excuse to switch it up. And the name of the game here is SPEED. Morning rush? Running late? Need breakfast before your brain officially turns on? Santiago's gets you fed and moving. The workers are consistently friendly, efficient, and FAST, which is exactly what I want from a quick breakfast stop. If you have time there is plenty of seating to accommodate you & ya crew. I want so badly to like Santiago's. This was our second time going. If I'm being honest, I forgot…read morethat I wasn't impressed the first time 5 years ago and now I remember why we haven't been rushing back. We ordered two large combo plates and paid the upcharge to make one of the burritos a steak burrito and the other one a chicken and rice burrito. It was $46. We ordered no beans, extra rice and that was not what we got. We ordered mild salsa and got a lot of hot salsa. The tostada is a store bought flat shell with a glop of beans with a ton of lettuce and a couple bits of tomato. Sad. They smother their burritos so we asked for one to come with the green chili on the side and they did oblige. I kinda get why so many places in Colorado smother everything in green chili. It's because whats under the green chili is mediocre quality. It was literally some steak with rice (there would have beans if I hadn't requested there not be) but no lettuce, sour cream, cheese, nothing. Its not a burrito: thats an upside down soft shell taco. I wish these places would stop calling them burritos. Burritos have all the toppings and cheese and meat inside. What is that!? The tamale was actually inedible. Not sure if those come from a factory or what, but they should not be selling the tamales. I genuinely mean this: it tasted like dog food. Those should not be on the menu. Lastly, the taco was adorable and totally looked like a Mexican version of a Taco Bell taco and I have to admit: Taco Bell's tastes better. Please understand, I'm not trying to tear this place apart. I'm Mexican. I grew up making these things at home with my grandparents and our family makes thousands of tamales once a year for my entire life and then some. I just am so saddened that the people in our community have places like this to choose from. I feel bad for them because I'm sure they work hard but the dining room was pretty messy and I probably should have walked in to order instead of ordering and going to pick up. I don't think that we would have eaten from here today if I had walked in first. They need to do better and stop using store bought taco shells for their food. That just totally put me off when I opened the container. Almost as much as the dirty plates and mess in the dining area.
