My family and I very much enjoys the food. Unlike a lot of places I still feel like the prices are very reasonable for a great meal. Came here on a busy Sunday evening. I waited about 3 minutes to be seated. Before I was even seated, they had already had a booster seat at the table for my daughter, which I did not even have to ask for! They also brought the bread as they walked us to our table. To continue the great service, our waitress was quick to come get our order and quick to bring our drinks, food, etc. She always checked on us at the perfect time! All the food was hot and delicious. I cannot believe I've gone 24 years without experiencing Texas Roadhouse. The bread buns were perfectly toasted, and the signature cinnamon butter literally made me salivate between bites. Ordered a 6oz sirloin medium-rare with mushrooms, and everything was cooked and seasoned well. Fries were also seasoned well, but I think I would've preferred them to be thinner, so that they could've gotten even crispier. Corn was also good, but there wasn't much to it. We joined the waitlist and we didn't wait much at all. Our server was very attentive and very, very nice. Our food took inappropriate time to come out to us and my steak was completely covered in mushrooms, which was perfect. Everything was cooked and seasoned well. Not a great experience tonight. It's crazy that they seem to always be busy, regardless when you show up. We did a call ahead to get on the wait list and were surprised to still have a fairly long wait when we showed up. Then we moved to the 'on deck' section and waited there (in the way of others) for several more minutes. Ok, so we finally get to a table, and our waitress was nice and attentive. My wife and I each get a sirloin, hers medium well, and mine medium, while both daughters get the chicken crispers. After another decent wait (luckily we had the rolls), we get our steaks. My wife's is medium well, and mine is actually cooked even more than medium well...somewhere between well and shoe leather. Our waitress apologizes and sends back my steak. Sounds like they'll expedite it, which would be nice because we've already been waiting a long time. She comes by a few times in the next 20-30 mins, and is a little surprised I still don't have a steak. I've finished my sides (which were just fair), and others at my table are almost done. My wife said her steak didn't have much flavor, and neither girl were wowed by their chicken crispers. Finally, the manager brings me another steak and asks me to cut into it. It's fine, I say, so she leaves. It still doesn't have much flavor, but at least it's cooked medium. When our waitress returns, I'm surprised that there's been no reference to them taking anything off the bill for such a long wait. I make a reference about, I assume we're not being charged for my steak, right? Our waitress seems a little taken aback by my comment but then says she'll go see what she can do. A few mins later, the manager comes by to see if there's still an issue or asks if the replacement steak was ok. I said it was ok but took a long time. Even though the meal was ruined, she can't seem to understand why I would be asking to not be charged for the steak. "We did go ahead and make you a whole new steak", she says. As if she was doing me a favor...or as if she could've somehow fix the first steak that was so massively overcooked. Luckily, I didn't really understand what she had said until she left. In the end, they took a whopping 10% off the bill, so an $8 discount on the $22 steak. Long wait, stressful night, mediocre food, and decent service...although management could learn a thing or two. I'm guessing we'll be back at some point but probably not real soon. read more

Enough with the aggressive up sale on every order. You don't know what is included in the order and what is being added for additional charges. This aggressive marketing also extended to gift cards being sold during our meal. I got several additional charges removed from the bill. It's as close to Texas flavors as your going to get around here. Those rolls with cinnamon butter are outstanding. The server was excellent and even the asst. manager stopped by to check on us, such a rarity these days. Everyone was extremely pleased with their food. The food is consistent and in line with what you can expect from any Texas Roadhouse which is quality food for the price. If I could give zero stars I would. We've been here before - but have never had a waiter try to upsell everything so much and so often. He was constantly at our booth asking us to buy something. We could barely enjoy the meal. We ended up agreeing to buy a donation for veterans - the waiter said we would get a coupon for a free appetizer, and it never expires. Bullshit - it expires next month AND you have to buy a meal in order to get the free appetizer. Also, my steak came out rare and I ordered medium well. When I told the waiter he agreed it wasn't medium well and he pointed out that the stick (which tells the temp of the meat) shouldn't be in there. Ok they take it away and the manager brings back the same steak medium well. No discount or comp of any kind for the mishap or for me eating without my family while I waited for it to be finished, just the manager saying sorry. Have been a few times lately, and always thought it was good for the price. Went Saturday night with the whole family, 7 in total the wait was fine and using the app worked fine. The server was ok and tired, unfortunately my wife's bone in ribeye was all fat and gristle, mention it to the server, no help said would send the manager. Great manager look at the steak and agreed not up to standards and offered to replace or comp along with a free dessert. The reason for 4 stars is the server say that bone in has a lot of fat and gristle, and had to press for a manager. We decided to order from Texas Roadhouse on Veterans Day and called ahead to ask about the deals and specials. I spoke with Carson, who mentioned that veterans could receive a free meal voucher, but he never mentioned that it was limited to a specific list of menu items. Based on what he said, we expected the full menu to apply. When we arrived to pick up our order, we ended up paying full price. To make things worse, our order was wrong -- the sautéed mushrooms and onions we paid extra for were missing, and they forgot the side salad altogether. It was disappointing, especially on Veterans Day when we were hoping for a smooth and appreciative experience. Better communication about the specials and more attention to the order details would have made a big difference. read more

To start my review I would like to say the service was so bad, rude and unprofessional that they made my mother cry. If I could give this establishment negative stars I would. My mom came out of town to visit me and was so excited to come eat here. The hostess was very nice, however our experience was awful. Our server Maddy was not attentive, we understand being busy. So my mom asked a server that happened to walk by (Alexa) for a couple of straws. She brought them out, and then returned to the server area (where they bring food out, visible to guests). Alexa proceeded to tell our server that my mom rudely asked for straws making a face and then acting disgusted by my mother. She even called my mom a word that is extremely awful and I will not repeat. Alexa started laughing and Maddy and her continued talking horribly about my mother. Maddy came to our table right after, mind you they did all this in front of us. Then my mom asked if something was wrong, I followed by saying you know we can see and hear you right? And Maddy apologized and said "she shouldn't have said that, she shouldn't of said that! I'm sorry, I will get a manager.". The manager came and apologized, the whole time the manager was talking to us Maddy was in the corner laughing with several (up to 7 different servers, talking about us while staring at us and laughing). I have never had such an awful experience before. The manager comped the meal, which was appreciated but not the point. Horrible horrible horrible experience. If I could share any advice it would be to think twice about coming to this establishment. Wife and I went for late lunch early dinner on New Year's Eve. Service and food were good as usual. They sat us close to the waiter/waitress section where we had servers constantly traveling up and down the aisle. I'm ok with that, busy place good food so it understandable for the area we were sitting. Unfortunately from my seat I had to watch an employee apply makeup for an easy 15 minutes..she would clean off a table then go straight back to that big ass mirror hanging in the entrance to waiters station. When in town our son and daughter in law always take us to Texas Roadhouse since it's the favorite of the granddaughters. Today we're here at my request, since I was craving a steak salad and the salad here is so yummy! Party of 6 so we went through a few baskets of rolls. Oh the rolls. So delicious. Our server was accommodating and caring. That is always appreciated with two toddlers in tow. I always ask for a tea to go and sometimes they will bring a cup and I'll pour the rest of my tea in the to go cup and I'm good to go. The waitress went to the manager/ supervisor and they had no compassion. She had a horrible attitude as if I was asking her to give me her first born. I don't understand the low ratings? It's always busy and staffed well. I've been here 6 times and I always get greeted immediately and service is amazing especially for a chain restaurant. Shannon was the first person I met when I sat at the bar. I've met three more bartenders. Everyone was welcoming. They all make sure they know your first name. They have a lot of regulars and I understand why. They make sure you are taken care of. I've tried a few of their dishes. Their steaks and chicken dishes were very good. I was impressed for a chain restaurant. They offer many sides to go with their entrées. I particularly like the green beans, steak fries, and even the red chili. The stuffed potatoes are huge! The steaks were perfectly grilled and I added mushrooms onions to it. The horseradish is delicious as well. I've tried their NY Strip, Porterhouse, and Sirlion so far. The ambiance is a Texas Roadhouse style setting. It's very loud though. Lot's of people there and it gets busy. I had to wait 3 hours to sit at the bar on a Saturday night. I still was served well. We came in as a larger party of 7 on a bustling Saturday night and the wait was very long. While we waited for our table, we enjoyed some complimentary peanuts in the waiting room. One of the nicest staff members, Sophie noticed that the floor was ridden with peanut shells and took it upon herself to clean up the area. She later noticed that we were still waiting there after some time, and again took it upon herself to see if there was anything she could do to get us seated. After we got seated and enjoyed a wonderful meal and spectacular service from our server Mo, Sophie returned again to give us a small dessert on the house! He invited me and my family to give another chance to the restaurant. I also wanted to make sure nobody lost their job, because we all are humans, we make mistakes; the owner told me they don't believe in firing people, they believe in coaching teams, and that's great. Not only did our waiter seem to understand egl very well but would ask you how things were and as your telling him an issue he would say ok and walk off ? so I don't think he understood a thing we said or cared. Spilt hot chesse dip on my daughter and her cloths but said nothing never refilled our drinks screw up or bill so had to re do it 3 times. My chili was room temperature, my fried steak was mostly grissel and fat but my family felt uncomfortable having to say anything to management and I didn't want to put them through it so we didn't go off in the restaurant.
