Corn nugget

Incredible. You must go here. The fried corn nuggets are sweet little fried pillows of creamy corn. The baked beans are perfect; not too sweet, not too heat. The bbq pork was delicious, smoky, tender and juicy. And we took home a pint of banana pudding. Every single part of this visit was perfect. Comfy atmosphere, amazing food; and our waitress (look-alike for Mila Kunis) was on point. Definitely recommend this spot. It was so good I forgot to get pics... next time.

Went in for a takeout order. I ordered the farmhouse burger and half slab of St. Louis style ribs. This place didn't disappoint and let me tell you I was worried my burger was going to be soggy and condiments all messed up from sitting inside the box but what they did is wrap the lettuce, tomato, onions, and picked up separate from everything else. The burger was great! The ribs aware excellent as well!

The staff at Bono's was amazing! I ordered about $300 of food for my office get together. I placed the order at 1040am, and they had everything ready by 1140am. The food was absolutely delicious, they even let me try samples to make sure I liked what I ordered. Unbelievable customer service!

I've lived in denver forever and just discovered this place. If you love a hometown feel and bbq...this is the place. Delicious!!

Mouthwatering ribs. I I did not think I was ever going to find a Barbecue place anywhere near as good as Texas, but this place comes really close. This will be my go to place for Texas comfort food. Everyone was so nice. It seemed they have quite a few regulars too. As people walked in they knew them by name. It started getting really busy around 6:30. I'm glad we had gotten there earlier. They have a lot to offer on the menu. Everything we had was so good. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It's clean and quick great service!

Sweet potato fries, one of the combos (sorry...forgot the exact name of the combo) mac n cheese, green chile stew

I'm sure it's pretty tough to make these as tender as they were, but I was very happy with the results. I also had the pulled pork which was juicy and delicious and the brisket, which is always great. What may have impressed me the most was the grits. I also highly recommend going there on a weekend to get their three dollar Sammie. Don't think you'll beat that price anywhere for a solid amount of meat.

The employee taking orders didn't know much about the sides (when my friend asked about the beans he just showed them to him instead of explaining what they have in them or if he likes them). I asked about the grits and another employee had to chime in that they were good. We both ordered the combo which includes a drink and side. We waited for a while for our food and went in after a while to see if everything was ready. They seemed flustered and told us the food would be right out. Granted there were a few people ahead of us but less than 5 total. The real McCoy sandwich was REAL dry. It comes with burnt ends and the bison green Chile and cheddar sausage (used to have pork as well) and their regular or buffalo sauce helped but not enough to overcome the dryness of the meats. The andouille & corn grits were fine as well. The sausage gives it a nice pop but the grits were more like potatoes in consistency. The best part was the Boylans ginger ale. Bummed Roaming Buffalo wasn't what I had previously. May come back but with other BBQ options it may be a while.

Love the atmosphere, rich in history, service is always on point in making sure I am pleased before/ordering and when I get my food. Keep up the great work yall, I am happy to have a BBQ place to enjoy. Also bad-A for them to allow clientele to actually see their smokers/smoked meat. Got the pulled pork and brisket - the classics judged in every BBQ competition. Everything was overdone, bland, and dry. No smoke. No bark on the brisket. And the brisket was cut so thin you could fold it over four times on half a fork. The mac and cheese was mid/meh. It was all very disappointing. There are many BBQ places in Denver, I'd pass on this one and look elsewhere.

I liked the Mexican Lager. Great service, great staff and great food and drink! One can't go wrong at either of these businesses.
