Mixed feelings on food and service, but they finished strong for us. Inside is relatively nice, though their cooking surface is not my favorite style. I think these were electric, while I prefer live coal followed by gas flame. Initial impressions were very negative. They refused to give us water until our entire party had arrived. Several other missteps too, but that one was pretty upsetting because I was thirsty. By the end of the night, someone that seemed like the manager or owner was a lot more accommodating and personable. We tried almost everything. For the meats, the hanger steak was insanely good. Clear knock out. Next time, I would probably order like 10 of those and maybe 1 or 2 other items. Hanger steak was 9.5 out of 10. Next best items were prime brisket and pork jowl, which were pretty good like 8 out of 10. Everything else was mid or not good, but not terrible. The spicy pork was weirdly sweet and one of our least favorite items. The galbi was so chewy and also one of our least favorite. Sides were pretty good, so I'm glad they pay attention to those. We went on a night that was not so busy, so I think that probably helped with service. 2 hours seemed to be a good time limit because of how quickly everything was served. Ordering drinks was kind of annoying. Hard to explain, but it's unnecessarily complicated. You try to order, and it says no lol. Then ask server, and they enable it, and then you can order. But if you want to order again... no, and repeat the process lol. Honestly, it probably stopped us from ordering as much because after a couple rounds, we were like... "you know what? We're good. Not worth the hassle anymore." Anyway, we left the place feeling positive at the end of the meal, even though it didn't start out that way. That's why I'm giving 4 stars. I'm not surprised if folks rated it much lower though because I can easily imagine everything going sideways. Fat cow is a traditional Korean barbecue with the added convenience of being able to order on a small digital screen located directly at the table. During our visit, I found the food selection to be good, but not great, while the bulgogi was great, the sausage felt more like a hotdog, and the Ramen station is prepackaged Ramen cups. Our server was good, but we didn't really see her outside of dropping off foods we ordered through the touch screen. Also I found the induction grills to be a lot slower to cook the meat than the traditional gas grills at most Korean BBQ's. It also felt very much like a pizza place converted to another type of restaurant as almost nothing was changed from its previous incarnation. Overall I feel like Fat cow either needs to up the ambiance and food quality a little to justify the price, but it is nice having a Korean BBQ in Parker, and I expect we will visit on occasion. read more

Went to Fat Cow tonight. Menu is confusing and you have to order everything from the iPad which is connected to the corner so if you want to order you have to reach over the hot bbq. Meat was tough and no flavor, brisket was bland, took us an hour to get our onion cooked and it was still raw. No oil as recommended. 3 small pieces of zucchini came out and sweet potato's very small portions. Rice was gluey and sauces were minimal. Ramen station is just noodles and broth - Safeway has better selections to be honest. I will not be going back. For $120 for 3 people and all I ate was 3 thin tiny pieces of zucchini. I thought this would be another hot pot restaurant, nope. This is a Korean BBQ restaurant. I really like both, so I didn't mind. They just opened up, so I'm going to cut them some slack. This place fills up fast and the wait is about an hour for each party to leave. It's a small restaurant, as you can see, so not a lot of room between tables. They made the best use of the room they had. There's a dip and appetizers bar in the back. I was anticipating some kimchi but it was all gone. I went to the ramen bar. You have 2 choices, clam flavor or spicy "challenge mode" beef. My kids and I regret getting the beef. The directions were pretty simply and easy to follow. How was the BBQ? Great! I enjoyed their meat and veggie selections. The servers were polite and quick to deliver. One huge item, the grill and tables are a bit small. If you come here in a party of 2, then it's perfect. Anymore than that then you are fighting for space. I can't note the bar, as it was still being setup. They have TVs but they are positioned really high. To be honest, who is watching TV at an Korean BBQ place. I thought it was hilarious, watching people check-in and go next door, to fill up with beer. Good luck with that. I'm here to eat. I'll come back in a few months, to see if they fixed some of these problems and I look forward to the improvements. Worth to check out. read more

New Korean BBQ spot in Parker. It has some work to do to be up to par with the Aurora bbq spots but over all it was good. There was only one server for the whole floor and he handled himself very well. The table top bbq cooks too slow. The bulgogi and short rib had delicious flavor. The only down side is some of the meat was too fatty. Restaurant is open and spacious. Didn't feel like we were too close to the next table. read more

Yikes - overcharge much? This place is about what we had anticipated for an AYCE KBBQ, except for the fact that the meat was really tough, rubbery, and generally kinda gross, and there was SUCH a limited amount of options - makes sense for the building size, but damn. Also, the servers were very stiff and blunt all night - not that I'm expecting a blazing smile or anything, but it just felt like our whole service was "Here, damn". As always, wear your lousy outfit when making a trip to bbq, especially ones with no hood and this place is a prime example. Actually had to wash my hair after dinner. Lots of people were talking about this place, especially the location and being in Parker and not having to travel to Aurora. #1. Grill is electric means they can get away with not having to install hood. However grill does work fast and can control over heating faster. #2. Sauce and condiment station was lacking but you can order onions and squash and few other veggies from the table top pad. Oh. All of the ordering is done using the pad. Very convenient. #3. Two hour limit and no wasted food policy. #4. Its bench seating and very tight. You could be rubbing backs with other strangers. Overall definitely needing few improvement, training and updating the app. Few items were out and we were not told until started questioning. The restroom was a mess, employees were not uniformed. Visited a month after it opened. Nice to have a Korean BBQ place in Parker. Good selection of proteins for an AYCE at $38 for dinner. The short ribs and finger ribs were the standout cuts. When I think of Korean BBQ, I also think of all the varieties of delicious bonchon (side dishes) that usually accompany your meal, but non-existent here. What a great evening! Looking for a restaurant where we could linger with friends, for my husband's birthday. Four our group had never eaten Korean food and only 2 of our 8 had ever eaten Korean BBQ. Needless to say, we had to teach. The restaurant staff was so helpful. The ordering screens took a little for our "seasoned" party to get used to, but we were determined to do this. We clued into ordering 2 to 3 serving of each item. We kept ordering, trying so many veggies, proteins and we had a blast! Several of our guests got Ramen and said they needed help with the machine. To say, that our friends enjoyed the adventure is a vast understatement! We read the reviews prior to our dinner and I wanted to make a couple of observations: * Do not expect a quick meal, rather, expect to linger and enjoy your dinner companions. Since we kept ordering, the items came out quickly, we tried quite a variety. * If you want a great experience, plan to go on a 'non premium' time, for example, a Wednesday or Tuesday. * If you are uncertain about BBQ, try eating from the menu. * There were reviews that reflected that the restaurant uses cheap cuts of meat. I thought this was obvious about ethnic foods, but apparently not. Polish, German, Mexican, Greek, Mediterranean, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc. ALL use cheap cuts of meat because that is what common folks used. Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner tonight, and unfortunately, it just wasn't our favorite experience. I understand the restaurant is new and still getting things figured out, but there were no tongs or plates available for at least the first 30 minutes, which made it hard to even start eating. The food itself was also pretty underwhelming for the price. The bulgogi and garlic chicken had almost no flavor, and unlike most Korean BBQ spots, there wasn't a proper sauce bar to help make up for it. They did have BBQ sauce, ketchup, and buffalo sauce -- but those aren't exactly Korean staples. The bulgogi was salty but otherwise lacked flavor, and the garlic chicken was cut too thick, taking forever to cook -- which would've been fine if it had any real flavor once done. On the positive side, the self-serve ramen station was a cool touch, and the service was good. Still, for $35 per person (over $100 total with tip for two), the menu felt limited and the flavors just didn't deliver. Unless you're really set on eating in Parker, you're better off driving 20 minutes north to Aurora for better Korean BBQ options. KPOT Korean BBQ & Hotpot, for example, is $32 for one option (KBBQ or Hotpot) or $37 for both with double the menu size, better sides, and a full sauce bar. If this place wants to stick around, I'd suggest some major changes. It's already in a less convenient location for most of Parker, and right now it just doesn't offer enough to keep people from driving north for a much better experience. read more

Total crap! Read the reviews and believe your eyeballs. Tiny portions of meat. The meat is flavorless/bland and takes a long time to cook because the burners do not get hot enough. The salad bar is not worth your time at all and they offered bbq sauce from king Soopers, not the normal sauces you or side goodies you would get at a normal Korean bbq restaurant. You are in no danger of exceeding their 3 hour time limit because you will not really want to stay for long. The manager refused to come out and talk to us about our experience. Absolute waste of $41 per person. You are miles ahead driving anywhere but here even if you live nearby like I do. read more

Went during the soft opening, so things may be different after it fully opens. We really enjoyed the food, meat portion sizes for us (table of 2) were good. We were able to get more variety vs other places we've been with very large servings per order. They have a little side/sauce bar and a ramen station but the sides offered on the bar were limited compared to what I'm used to seeing - I miss my radish sheets! Service was fantastic, I really can't stress how great all the staff members were. For those who don't frequent all you can eat places, Standard AYCE rules - 2 hour limit, you'll be charged for leftovers so order all you want, but eat all you order. To set the stage, I have traveled around the world including Korea and eaten and several "Korean BBQ Restaurants." In general the Fat Cow is not bad, however the emphasis is really on the meat and not the vegetables. Most international Korean Barbecues have a bigger vegetable selection in addition to meat. It is most likely a USA thing appealing to the all "you can eat" meat idea. The server was really helpful, personally I would prefer a bar over the pad way of ordering, but I'm getting old I guess. The BBQ was electric and my wife and I could handle it being a bit hotter, however I understand most people are used to a microwave over a grill for cooking. The dipping sauces were good, the draft beer good for the price. Overall, my wife and I are not heavy eaters so the value of food per dollar was probably not as good as others. Service is quick and friendly ( will advise on cooking style for all choices ) --- now the not so good, AYCE Raman is instant spicy Raman ( seriously for the cost its a joke ) and the salad bar is really pathetic ( lettuce and cold mashed potatoes ) -- if you are expecting the typical Korean BBQ sides , not here. Very unfortunate review: Went on a Tuesday 6:30ish, almost empty so we didn't wait at all. Everything is ordered by an iPad so little communication with the staff (great for introverts). Ordered 2 32oz soft drinks which were spilled by the waitress all over me (unfortunately not exaggerating). I was Soaking wet and sticky as they rush to clean and only a sorry was given. We live across the road so I let my husband stay and start cooking while I go change real quick hoping that the food would be the saving grace. It was not... Selections are mediocre at best compared to other Korean BBQ's around. Meat was oxidized so most spots on the meat were dark gray which isn't appetizing. The "sauce" bar consisted of soy sauce and hot sauce so most meat was bland without proper seasonings. Our ending bill was around $120 for 3 of us. Nothing was mentioned of the spill, nothing was comped off the bill (not even the spilled sodas) and just a sorry and no manager was brought to our table. Went in on a Saturday afternoon with some friends, total party size of 6. Didn't love the ramen, I felt like it could have been so much more. The food itself was good, but nothing spectacular. We knew in advance that they would charge for food that was ordered but not eaten, but other than that there was no transparency on pricing. We also ordered the 6 piece shrimp multiple times and only received 4 pieces each time. It wasn't until we paid ($100 for my party of 2) that we found out that they charge a 30% large party gratuity. They didn't give us a bill, we just paid on their device so I didn't get a chance to look at what we were charged for before paying. Just discovered this fun, new Korean BBQ restaurant in Parker. I lived in South Korea for a couple of years and found this food to be deliciously authentic. It takes a minute to understand that all the ordering occurs over an tablet located on your table. It's a fixed price for almost anything on the menu. So, its a good value considering the quality of the food relative to other Korean BBQ in the Denver area. I've been there twice in the last 2 months and will go again and again. read more
