Horrible experience here. The food was the same as at every Chilli's as expected. However, they have the worst staff and had only two people working. The host was sitting at the back of the restaurant and made us wait a few minutes at the front desk a few minutes before getting up to seat us. The only other person working was one waitress who never made eye contact, got our order wrong twice and never checked on our meal. When we finished our meal she told us to use the computer on the table and never came over to give us doggie bags. Finally, we hunted her down across the restaurant even though there was only one other table seated in the place. Her attitude throughout was belligerent and dismissive. Curbside was a JOKE tonight! Food was to be ready between 754 to 759, arrived before 8:00 PM, waitress said our food would be ready in a few minutes, she came out 10 minutes later asked my name again, said it would be a few minutes said they were a little backed up, she seemed stressed but very pleasant, at 8:30 she brought my food, drinks were watered down because ice melted. I asked her what the deal was she said they had a big party come through, I told her I had a coupon to use she said I'll get the manager, another 10 minutes passed and the Manager came out looking disheveled, waist of his jeans down close to his knees, he acted like it was just another Wednesday. I asked him what the problem was he said they had a party of 50 come to dine in without any notice, I said I gave my notice & I was promised my food at by 7:59 and I waited over 30 minutes. Plus there was no salsa in with my chips, he brought some & the coupon would come off of my balance around 3 AM in the morning... Weird but OK. I told him if someone would've called and explained, I could've gone elsewhere. When I got home there were no straws, no ranch for my salad, no utensils. Won't be back. read more

I ate at Chili's with my sister and a friend, ordered the pork and chicken fajitas and it was delicious! The waitress was kind, bathroom clean. The next morning my sister wanted some blackberry syrup to put in her tea. She called Chili's and asked if there was any way she could come pickup a couple of ramicans of blackberry syrup. The lady said they don't open until 10:45 and my sis said she had a break at 10:00 am. The lady said they were not supposed to let people in until 10:45 am but said she could park by the Togo and she would run the syrup out to her. The lady brought out 7 ramicans of blackberry syrup. When my sis tried to tip, the lady said not to worry about it. I thought that was very good service and that Chili's went the extra mile to please their customers. Who'd have thought that at 69 years of age with tons of travel under my belt that I would have the most incredible dining experience of my life while passing through Amarillo TX...at a Chili's of all places?!?!?! Yes, the food was good, BUT the service...WOW & WOW! We were greeted like we were world famous VIP's. Our waitress Taylor arrived with the same amazing attitude. Halfway through the meal, I had to tell her how blown away we were by the service. She proceeded to tell us what a great manager Shannon is. Shortly, we saw why as Shannon passed through, giving every guest VIP treatment. Guaranteed I'll be back anytime I'm back through. Would not recommend this location!!! Service was slow, food came out wrong. How hard is to cook what is on your menu?

Follows Chili's business model: dirty, smells like a mop bucket and offers slow and mediocre service for a price you wish you'd spent on groceries and stayed home. There was a total of three tables occupied when I sat down. Bartender saw me looking at their selection and thought I was staring him down so he hollered that he'd be "right with" me. Waiter eventually took my order. Bartender shouted for clarification on my drink order twice from the bar while I worked at my table on the other side of the room. Kicked the French fries out from under my table so the guy who was sweeping could sweep it up. Waiter took order for a second drink and an appetizer - appetizer took long enough for me to wonder if he'd actually placed the order. It finally came (finger food) without napkins. I absolutely love this restaurant and their servers. I went out to go have dinner with a friend approximately an hour and a half before they closed. My waiter was a very handsome and all-around enjoyable human and I love him with all of my heart. I actually never found out what his name was and I regret it to this day but if I ever find you just now, you hold a special place in my heart.I'm not gonna docs points for the ass but my only issue is the price which then again it is their own restaurant I chose to eat there I cannot control the price. But are you kidding me for an appetizer which would I got where is the spinach queso my mail rounded to a total of $11. I think that is a little bit Ludacris to pay for you know a tray of case so and chips that I could've bought at the store made at my home for about five dollars but the experience was terrific. I will be coming here every week I cannot get enough of this place and they're amazing servers with, might I add, hot bodies that I would love to see you maybe after my meal if you're saying this and remember me do you know who you are my server, you're hot and I love you. Food was very good but the best part of our meal was the server, Tristan. He was very attentive and was great with our two boys. Didn't talk down to them but called them "boss" and was patient as they ordered their own food. My husband says it was the best service he's ever had (and he's usually very critical). New Waiter. He asked us three times in the first 10 minutes if we wanted to order. No. You haven't even got our drinks to us yet. Relax. Then, when we did order; he didn't get our app order turned in, so we never got our "New, Cauliflower Bites". Burger was good, so was the other entree. The manager came by and checked on us. We told him about the missing appetizer, and he made sure it wasn't on the bill. Typical Chilis experience; okay; but a reminder why I don't visit often. read more

Usually when I come to this Chilis, the service is decent and so is the food. However, today (3/15/2015) the service was awful. We were seated and our waiter took over 20 minutes to come and at least get our drink orders. He actually never came the manager did. For compensation for the wait, the manager promised us free chips and salsa, which we also had to ask for 3 different times. A couple came in about 15 minutes after us, got an appetizer, their entrée, and left before we ever got our chips and salsa. When we finally got our food, it was cold, and my mother's wasn't cooked throughly. Among several, emphasis on several, other things that marked this as a terrible experience with Chilis, I nor my family will be returning to this specific Chilis establishment. Very disappointed. I LOVE chilies!!! One of the best places I have been to!!! It's family friendly, they are also very cautious about allergies like tree nuts, gluten, soy, whey, and eggs. chili's happnens to be one of the few chain restaurants i like to eat at. i was driving through and wanted something to eat, and wasn't feeling like trying anything new (too tired after a long road trip). i looked up chilis and headed that way. walked in to the bar (as they directed me for to go orders) and waited several minutes to even be noticed. the bartender didn't even ask if i wanted anything, it was a waiter that was passing by. i ordered my fave boneless buffalo chicken salad with no bacon. got my salad within 10-15 minutes. went back to my hotel to eat and noticed that literally EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF LETTUCE WAS DISCOLORED. i was pretty annoyed seeing as that i did not want to drive back over there. i basically ate the chicked off the salad and through the rest out. read more

Can you give zero stars? If I could I would and that would tell you that the only place for this restaurant to go... is up...because it couldn't possibly get worse. That is my thoughts after visiting there today during lunch. A friend and I showed up around 11:45 today and was greeted by a nice young man, who handed us one of those electronic gadgets to notify us when our table was ready. Normally that would have been okay, but today there were only about 10 patrons in the whole place, lots and lots of empty tables, and NOBODY waiting, except us! I asked why we were getting this and the young man tried to explain that the servers were quite overwhelmed, needed time to catch up, and that if he seated us they would feel rushed to get to us quickly, and we would actually save time by waiting at the front rather than at a table because the wait at the table would be at least 10 minutes and we would only have to wait 5 minutes at the front. Huh?????????? It made no sense. First of all, are we supposed to be catering to the servers...or isn't that supposed to be their role to us? Secondly, if they were overwhelmed with the whole 10 tables they had, then I shudder to think what it must be like on a BUSY day! Third....what the heck was that kid talking about...saving time??? And last...couldn't someone other than a server (maybe one of the other at least 7 people I saw while waiting for the electronic gadget to go off) take us to a table and serve us some water while we look over the menu? Come on...I looked at my friend and said...are we on one of those hidden camera shows? We waited a few minutes longer while we watched servers and other restaurant folks chit/chat, and then agreed this was just too much of a lack of service to deal with. I took the gadget and gave it to the young man and told him we were leaving. He didn't say a word, but a young woman approached from the bar area and said, "I can seat you in the bar." I just couldn't even dignify that with a response and instead just put up my hand in a "no thanks" kind of wave, and promptly left. I thought...you can seat us in the bar at a restaurant where there were at least 35 open tables??? C'mon Chili's!! This is beyond bad service...this is ZERO service. I won't return. read more
