First time visiting Hud's and sadly won't be returning. The drive thru employee did NOT speak english so I had to repeat my order MANY times to STILL have our food come out almost all wrong. Very frustrating to not be able to order food for our very large hungry family. read more

HUD'S is just around the corner from us.I go mostly for there Cherry Limes. I ask for sour so good. There coke cola's aren't consistent with the syrup. Went in for lunch so good. I finally tried their hamburger . Pretty Fran good. You better get there soon after opening or after the lunch run. Lots of construction clients and AHS students so. It is all very hot when I got mine. Made right not beef prepared before under heat lamps. At least I didn't see lamps. Got some fried squash. Yummy! Very lightly breaded. So good. I did notice while I was waiting for them to call out my order the drink lady was very frustrated with customers ordering. I guess she needed to do something else but like me I just bought Drinks so to come inside was different for me and to see her agitated was a bit odd. I will be back because of their fresh made burgers. It is small inside but most use the drive thru except the kids. They were kids but very nice and not highly loud. I appreciate that! Just a good ole burger place with a pretty big menu. Trackers would enjoy HUD'S both off 45th Bell about 3 1/2 miles down south on Bell or of off I-40 exit Coulter turn North and they are behind Toco Bell less then a couple blocks off Coulter exit towards the hospital district. I used to love Huds! The last several orders the breakfast burritos have had very little meat in them. I've even asked for extra and paid for it, but nothing was different. I've switched my order up trying to make sure I wasn't just getting it wrong, but still no change. read more

So bad. Looked and tasted like it was made by someone who hated me but was too cowardly to poison me directly. We got onion rings, and hot dogs, cheese sticks, and one other side that proved inedible. I couldn't eat an onion ring. They were raw. I ate my hot dog meat after the soggy bun fell off. One greesy cheese stick later, and I'm done trying to salvage the money they stole from me and my hungry family. Rude. Lazy. Dangerous. Avoid at all costs. read more

The best breakfast burrito in the world. My go-to breakfast is a breakfast burrito and I've tried them across the country. It never fails that Hud's is still the best. I live out of town but whenever I visit Amarillo, I will buy a couple and bring them home to refrigerate and eat later. I recommend the sausage potato, but bacon and potato is also delicious! And I love that their salsa is handmade. Pair it with a vanilla Coke or vanilla Dr Pepper and you have a breakfast for champions. I will always make time for a visit to Hud's- except for Sundays when they are closed, which does make me a little sad because this would be a great hangover breakfast after a night out. Ordered a cheeseburger and they forgot the cheese and the burger. Good one, Hud's! How does this happen? Huds does make good Burgers and their service is typically good but I will never get fried halapenios as they charge 75 cents for Ranch... Next they will be charging for ketchup. Chicken express gives 1 free ranch with their fried pickles. If u do ask for extra they only charge 30 cents. 75 cents is excessive and I for one refuse to ever pay for simple condiments that should come with your order. This goes against Texas tradition and Huds should know better.... read more

Terrible customer service! Ordered chicken dinners that were all missing salads and ranch and the manager (Elaine or Stacy)-not sure which one because she hung up on me when I asked her name, says not her fault. She can't do anything about them running out of salad that night. All they had to do was tell the customers they were out of part of the order. I will never go there again. Go see Kathy at the HUDS on the Blvd and Coulter. She said she will be happy to replace the orders and was sorry for the inconvenience. read more

This is a nice little place that serves a variety of simple foods. They do breakfast (burritos, biscuits and gravy) or lunch and dinner (chicken tenders, corn dogs, burgers etc.) I recommend the corn dogs and Dina bytes! These people are RUDE!! The food is a 2 star except for the fried jalapeños. The only reason people come here is for the drinks!! They make real cherry limeades and they are bangin'. Do yourself a favor and swing thru the drive-thru for one of these perfectly sweet and tangy drinks. But remember to skip the food!! This use to be one of my favorite spots for breakfast burritos. My mom and I would go almost every morning and we got really close with the workers. I'm vegetarian and they know that but they still had the audacity to put sausage on my burrito. Eh. Rude rude rude employees. Didn't even let me know my drinks were ready... They just sat at the counter for who knows how long. I was literally the only one in the whole place and they couldn't even bring me my food. The food nonetheless is nothing to write home about.... I'm honestly not even impressed with the cherry lime. Best cherry limeade I've had. The burgers were cooked at the time of order so it was hot and the fries and tots were great. We enjoy eating here but go out of our way to enjoy the cherry limeades. read more

Girlfriend orders a plain ham & swiss, and the first time it came out, it was covered in lettuce, tomato, onions, and plain American cheese. She politely asks for a remake with Swiss, and to have just cheese and ham on the sandwich. When the cook personally handed over the remade sandwich, we had the Swiss, but still had lettuce, onion..etc. My burger was pretty delicious, but the girlfriend felt like she was eating a sub par BLT.
