Really great local spot to watch sports and chill. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good service. I had the ribeye which was very good. Good crowd. Manager came over to ask how things were. read more

Have you ever wanted to eat out... but not actually dine out? So you order takeout and immediately get that little feeling of apprehension like, "Please let this food be as good as it would've been in the restaurant." Well, that was us today -- and Bubba's 33 absolutely delivered. My husband ordered the smash burger, and I got the New England-style fish and chips, plus a full order of their hand-breaded, hand-cut onion rings that are honestly to die for. We picked everything up just 15 minutes after ordering, and every single item tasted like it had just come straight from the kitchen to our table. The onion rings were perfectly crispy with that fresh-from-the-fryer crunch and flavor. The fish had that classic crunchy beer batter on the outside while still being flaky and tender inside, and the garlic mashed potatoes were clearly homemade with just the right amount of garlic. Now let's talk about the smash burger... it was HUGE. Seriously, it could feed three people. My husband practically inhaled it before I could even take a picture! What really impressed me wasn't just the portion sizes -- it was the attention to detail. The onion rings were packaged separately so they stayed crisp, and the savory Bubba's 33 sauce paired perfectly with them. We each ate several onion rings and STILL had leftovers. Even the side salad was incredibly fresh. I'm obsessed with those little crispy potato straws on top, and the homemade ranch is the perfect finishing touch. Honestly, it was refreshing to order takeout and not have a single issue. Nothing missing, nothing cold, nothing soggy or stale -- just an exceptional meal from start to finish. Huge shoutout to the cooking staff and online order prep team at Bubba's 33. You all absolutely crushed it tonight. We will definitely be ordering again and again! read more

Very Nice! Really Good Food! Music Rocks! Wonderful Atmosphere! Great Waiters & Waitress! Open Till 11:00! We will be back! Again' For Sure! read more

Visited on Monday, 5/23. We did have a large party (12), which caused a long wait - but this was to be expected and no concern to us. You can only do online reservation for 6 or less. Called to get our name on the list, waited over 12 minutes to hold music and no one came to the line. Hannah was our server - very friendly and attentive - good service. Drinks were consistently filled. The reason for the low review: The food is mostly HORRIBLE! Chicken from California chicken - the chicken was hard to bite through, made crunch sound when biting, yet it was grilled chicken. Possibly undercooked? The queso was served on a skillet but not warm, like not at all. It was like they used a hot skillet, put a cold spoonful of queso on it, expecting the skillet to heat it up. it was cold, clumpy, simply gross. Pizza was beyond basic - you would be better with a frozen pizza cooked at home. If debating on other restaurants in the area, go with something else. Taco Villa and Burger King are better and will have safer fully cooked food. read more

The takeout was DELICIOUS! Both my husband & I got the salmon over rice with broccoli & it tasted so good. Hands down the best food I've had since being here. Will definitely be eating there again. read more

Our waitress Karissa was so sweet. She was warm and friendly, and accommodated everything we needed. FIVE STARS FOR KARISSA!!! The rest of it was so disappointing. My daughter and I both ordered a chicken sandwich and the bread was SOAKED. I'm not sure if it was the grease from the chicken or if the trays were dried problem but the bottom bun was soggy and falling apart. I talk to one of the managers, he's cool. Tells us he's going to take it off the bill and we end up grabbing something else. Awesome. While we wait for the to-go orders (they were so busy today that we waited forty five minutes for our food already so we just wanted to get it to go) we decided to order dessert. One of us got the Oreo brownie sundae, the other got the cookie sundae. They show up and both of them are HARD AS A ROCK. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated but I'm still be super cool about it. I loathe complaining. As someone with experience in the service industry, I sympathize with service staff. Again, I talk to the manager (different one this time) and this one offered zero accommodations other than giving us another one to go and that he will tell them to HEAT THEM UP so they're not hard. Ice cream. To go. It's 109 outside. Honestly, I didn't care about having it removed from the bill, I just wanted to go home, but I don't think he truly HEARD what I was saying and instead just brushed us off. The only reason I said anything was because they're feeding bricks to my kids. Our waitress was more empathetic than the manager. Honestly, she was great. I wish she worked anywhere but here because I'd love to be served by her again. Anyway, all that to say we won't be back again. What a mess. EDIT TO ADD During our meal, we ordered a sandwich to go for my husband with the fries. Just got home. Zero fries read more

Easy choice for lunch since there are lots of options . I opted for strawberry quinoa salad in a baby lettuce mix with an add-on of charbroiled salmon. It was good and filling, providing protein energy necessary to take me through my other chores. Companion had nachos and deemed them cheesy and spicy enough with the chopped jalapeños. Wish list: sriracha sauce. Staff were pleasant, tending us frequently enough to get everything we needed. Great place for a meal. BTW, I always wear earplugs in here. Super loud for me; earplugs do the trick. read more

Servers are nice here. Food is average-ish, sorry Amarillo the quest continues. Appetizers weren't bad-

Zero stars! Used to be my favorite place, now I'll never go back. I have never been more insulted in my entire life then I was there today. Extremely offended!!! Ruined that place for me and all of my people! I've spent a lot of money there over the years. Family gatherings and such. Lost many excellent customers today! read more

We eat at Bubba's 33.frequently. I order the pina colada every time.. I was told the manager took the blender out of the bar. It was the best drink they made. I wish they would bring it back. And please clean the table top and benches. Our check was placed on the table and it stuck . Gross and sticky! read more

Macaroni side was very dry. Couldn't finish it. Chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful. Cole slaw wasn't the best I've had. Shrimp was a little less done for my taste. I'll know to order something else if there's a next time. Would like to see the Hawaiian burger brought back. read more

08/03/2025 What an amazing place. This is our first time eating here. Julie had strawberry iced tea and hamburger cooked perfectly medium rare and a little side salad. I had Shiner Bock beer and California chicken dinner. Both of us had crooked fried cheese. Everything was delicious and hot. Our server's name is Tuesday and she made sure that we had everything. The supervisor's name is Sierra. She introduced herself to us when we sat down. She came back near the end of the meal to ask if we had any questions. Bubba's is a great place to eat because they make sure that you are happy. It was almost like having a home cooked meal at home. read more

We called in for takeout and they delivered the food to our car. It was kind of neat because they direct you (via text message) to park in a numbered spot then text back. When the food is ready they bring it to you and wait while you confirm everything is there. The food was excellent as well. read more

We pull up at 8pm on Sunday night, plenty of parking and see empty tables on the patio... so we go in and request that and the hostess says "no we don't have anything available". And without a second breathe she says "Follow me" without asking for preferences. Completely dismissed. Went elsewhere for great service! read more

I visit Bubba's quite often. The food and service are wonderful. They have numerous brands of beer for beer drinkers; but, only two red wines, Cabernet & Pinot Noir which are $9.50 & $12.50 per glass, too expensive!. Saturday They were out of Cab, and the Pinot was old so I just had water. Manager needs to try better to satisfy all customers!! read more

Yall I have gone through Amarillo once a year and can't believe I never know about this place. I always complain this city has no good food. Boy was I wrong! This place is fantastic!!! I got the cheese steak Minus the cheese but I'm the weirdo one. It was amazing! And honestly I didn't feel gross after eating that much meat. It was tender nice pieces with mushrooms peppers and onions. The fries r seasoned perfectly and make sure u get the Bubba sauce! First off the Philly Steak sandwich is delicious, as well as the Avocado bacon chicken sandwich. Bring an appetite, portions are huge. We sat on the heated, enclosed patio because we had our dog with us. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Even the managers came out to check on us.
