Why are Chick-fil-a workers so much better than those at any other fast food restaurants? I mean, as far as fast joints are concerned, this chick fil a deserves solid five stars (obviously it's not the same as five stars I'd give to a Michelin star restaurant. It's all about the context!) All the workers are friendly, efficient and polite. The place is clean for a fast food restaurant. The manager(?) even goes around from table to table to see if everything is alright. The deluxe sandwich with pepper jack cheese is delish. Seriously, McDonalds's and Wendy's should learn from them. read more

I normally wouldn't write a review for fast food because we all know what to expect- greasy, salty, fattening food that tastes oh-so-good. Chik-fil-a stands out for its service. I am dumbfounded at how they continously find people that provide fast food service with a genuine smile. It's like beng at Nordstrom but with chicken! Is it possible to be in love with a sandwich? I say yes because I want to marry the spicy chicken sandwich! I love that it actually has some heat to it and it's so crisp and juicy. Waffle fries are yummy and Chik-fil-a has something that A LOT of fast food places don't-- Cherry Coke!!! And free refills!!! I was going to give them 4 stars but decided to give this location the 5th star just for being across from the movies, which allows me to sneak in their food. "When the vegetarian eats the chicken...you know it's good." That pretty much sums up my feelings on Chick-fil-A. I was practically dragged here by a friend from Georgia (the home of Chick-fil-A) and informed it was, BY FAR, the BEST fast food joint around. I heard praise about the chicken nuggets and prose about the peach milkshakes. I thus had very high expectations upon walking into my first Chick-fil-A. I noticed the little flowers the put out on every table and the friendly staff who walk around and check to make sure everyone is happily enjoying their choice of chicken (sandwich, nuggets, strips....). Being the on-and-off vegetarian that I am, I of course opted for the chicken nugget meal (delicious nuggets that actually resemble chicken), complete with cole slaw (yummy but average), waffle fries (can never go wrong with these) and an upgrade to the peach milkshake (A...MAZING). I tried every single sauce they offered but somehow missed the BBQ (polynesian, honey mustard, Chick-fil-A sauce (like a BBQ meets Ketchup meets Honey Mustard-just do it), buttermilk ranch, and buffalo sauce. I was in heaven and that's all you need to know. read more

Busy location however employees made their best effort to move lines fast during lunch time. Clean, nice, convenient location however cashier kept pushing for meal, large chips, large soda etc but the food was not enough for 11 dollars I spent. 6 nuggets and cold potato fries made it not so good. Will try again but not something what I expected from chick-fil-A. read more

It's Chick-fil-A and it's delicious. You can expect good service at this location. It is also prime-located near the Regal Cinemas 20 and other Silver Spring shopping. It is my go-to fast food when I go see a movie downtown. Great value, taste and service for about $6/meal. They have a kid's night and they are generous with sauces and condiments (some places aren't anymore) The bathrooms are clean and the staff is smiling and upbeat most of the time. read more

Incredible service this business offers! Personalized from the beginning until the end of the eating experience. People here are guests and people are called by their names, and not numbers, when order is ready. The food is offered with a smile, eye contact and a thank you for coming to Chick-fil-A. I came to his location on a Thursday evening. I did a mobile order for a Deluxe Chicken Sandwich w/ Bacon (hold the tomato). They did not put the bacon on my sandwich, so I basically I spent an extra $1 for no reason. Unfortunately I did not realize until this until I got home. I know they saw bacon on the order screen because they held the tomatoes like I requested. My guess is they probably didn't have any bacon left, and instead of being honest and giving me my money back or offering me another option, they thought it would be best to keep it moving and rip me off. The evening crew members at this location are unprofessional and lack customer service skills. They come off as lazy, inattentive, and unconcerned. You will not get the usual pleasant and positive experience at this Chick-fil-A location. A lot of the staff needs retraining. Go to the Tech Road location in Silver Spring if you want a better experience (they have 4.5 stars on Yelp for a reason). Also, the renovations they did at this location were a waste of time. The old setup was attractive and cozy. All they had to do was replace some of the booths since some of the cushions in the booths were starting to rip from wear and tear. The new renovations consist of hard and cheap looking plastic-like chairs (no more comfy booths) and "wood" tables. It's really tacky looking. read more

The 2 stars are to be nice. The staff was rude and they forgot to pack my child's drink & a spoon with her meal. She had an ice cream cup and by time I noticed, we were too far gone and I had to compensate with a fork from a beer by chipotle. She couldn't eat it the whole thing. Such an inconvenience. Cleaning personnel argued with me that she closed off a section to eat for the night. I told her "where can I sit with my child to eat if all the tables have been taken?" With an attitude she walked away. It's ridiculous that she stood there arguing with me about not letting me sit in the small table for 2 people to eat. This is the only non-food court Chick-fil-A I've seen, and I love it. Located in the heart of the very eerie, straight-out-of-the-mold downtown Silver Spring, the customer service at this place knocks my socks off. These people are so incredibly friendly, and they give you your order right away. There are plenty of seats. Been hooked since their opening. I got those get a free meal cards for a year for waiting all hours of the night before the grand opening. Well....I didn't actually wait, my mom, brother and sister did. I was in high school, meaning I was broke all the time and hungry. Chick-Fil-A hit the spot after school with friends. The classic chicken sandwich seems plain at first sight. Only comes with a couple of pickles on top but its pretty damn good. McDonald's now has their own version, the southern style chicken sandwich and man does it suck. I had a Chick-fil-A cobb salad delivered by DoorDash today, among other items. The salad was missing the boiled egg, charred tomato and red pepper slices. I was a regular, mostly from the proximity to my job, until I bit into a moldy breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, I swallowed what I bit thinking that mold taste was in my head. When I peaked inside, I found mold on the eggs. I was already at work and in about 30 minutes I was shaking and nauseous. I returned with a coworkers assistance and the managers tried to tell me that was just discoloration from cooking the eggs. Huh? You see me white and shaking when just an hour ago I purchased a burrito and ate what discoloration?? I guess mold is an acceptable ingredient in their food. It both looked and tasted like it. The day I discovered there was a Chick-Fil-A relatively easy to get to for me was one of the happiest days ever. I'd previously only eaten it at Montgomery Mall but seldom got to go there. So, after seeing someone's yelp review, I decided to go and get my favorite nuggets and waffle fries. The place was clean and friendly. The chicken was nice and juicy and the waffle fries were awesome. Near the end of my meal, one of the employees was walking around asking customers if they needed anything and asking how their service was and even removed some trays for customers who had already finished and were just talking. When he stopped by my table, he offered a refill of my drink as well without me having to go to the counter to ask for it! I was happy. Great customer service on top of great food. read more

I love love love chik- fil- a, and the fact that there are none in dc makes me sad. this one is tucked away behind a sub par mall, and so in four years of living in the district i just discovered it. Clean, friendly staff, and a delicious chik-fil-a, this is certainly one of the better examples of this super yummy chicken-based chain. Very busy with kids racing all over the place. They also don't understand what "not spicy" means. I explained 3x that I didn't want the spicy check sandwich just the regular and even after the guy confirmed for me that he understood I still got spicy. This is probably my favorite Chick-fil-A location. The associates are incredibly friendly, even though this is a perpetually busy location. The dining area is always very clean, as is the bathroom. Your food order comes out pretty quickly and they bring it out to you, which I love. read more

What I experienced today was unacceptable and I was chocked the store operator continued to run his business under that terrible condition. It was extremely cold when I walked into the restaurant, there was a long line and there was one cashier (Jaz) at the counter taking orders. If the HVAC system is down, I do not understand why the store operator couldn't make a sound business decision to temporarily close the store until it was repaired. The employees were cold and it seems like they were under staff as well. Jaz literally have to warm her hands with her mouth at the counter in front of customers in order to keep warm and continue to take orders. I feel sorry for the girl and I hope she finds a better employer with better working condition than I saw today. The restaurant operator himself seems to be under the weather as well, with no gloves on while serving its customers. I have eaten at 3 restaurants, this is the worse I have seen. First time! There was a long line but they kept it pretty efficient. I wish the waffle fries were more salted, because otherwise a bit bland. Got several different types of chicken and they all lived up to expectation. No frills chicken sandwiches that focus on the salted, battered chicken. Wanted to get a shake but their machine was broken so had to get a refund. All in all, pretty good! If you're driving and in a rush, there is a Whole Foods lot nearby that you can probably quickly park at and run to. read more
