Everything we come to this location we look forward to sitting on the patio for lunch. The atmosphere is so nice and the people who work here are very kind and helpful, especially Blain G. He goes above and beyond to make sure that our table is clean, the trash is bussed and that everyone has a smile on his face. Really disappointing but this is the worst Chik fil A location I've ever experienced. Colorado Blvd is 100x better. On MULTIPLE occasions they've neglected to put requested sauces in my orders. Twice now I've ordered the chicken club and the bun is dried out and hard. Management needs to figure it out there but in the meantime when I want CFA I'll just go to the GOOD one. Always order here for lunch since I work nearby. Usually do curbside pickup and I've never had anything but a great experience. My order is always correct & always good. Okay, so this is Chick-fil-A, not some fancy, schmancy restaurant. Their food it predictable and that's part of what makes it good . . . always tasty, well prepared, etc. But what really makes Chick-fil-A distinctive is customer service. Better than any fast food place. Period. Always. Friendly people who are glad to serve you. Help if you need it. I ordered drive thru breakfast & I ended up getting the wrong order. I ordered two chicken biscuits & ended up getting the sausage biscuit. I woke up so early so I could surprise my daughter & husband with breakfast & it's such a bummer to come home to the wrong breakfast. I don't live close by so it was a drive. I tried to call ahead to make sure that they still had the seasonal peppermint milkshake as I knew it was expiring today and I would've gone to another location if they didn't have it. Unfortunately, they let the answering machine pick up so I assumed they must have it since it was on their menu to order for pick up so I placed my order. (it's important to note that the owners other location in Pasadena, had removed that flavor from the menu, so they have the ability to do that when they're out of some thing.) When we got to the drive-through, my mom was in the driver seat and saw that the milkshake was white so she asked if it was a peppermint milkshake and the guy who gave her the order, said that it was. I didn't see it wasn't pink until we got home; I tasted it and looked at it and could tell that something wasn't right because I'd ordered a peppermint milkshake from another Chick-fil-A a few weeks prior and I know what they're supposed to look like (pink with chips, like the photo.) It also didn't taste right at all. So I called them back and NOW (when it really didn't matter as much because there's nothing they can do now after I wasted my points), they DO answer the phone! :-/ They told me they had run out of the pink mix with the chips so had to use peppermint "flavoring" in the milkshake (which is definitely not what it tasted like). so I ended up with what looks like a vanilla milkshake with peppermint syrup, and no chocolate chips. They told me that the employee who gave us the milkshake, should've told us that and that they were offering chocolate chips with a milkshake, but the employee did not offer us anything, nor did he even seem to be aware that this was not the usual milkshake (which is pretty scary considering this is supposed to be one of the nicer fast food restaurants out there). This is not something that they can remedy because it is the last day of the promotion. Given they'd run out of the mix, I asked why it was even available on the app as the Colorado Pasadena location had it removed from their app. The employee claimed they "can't do anything to the app" and yet SOMEHOW, the Pasadena Colorado location (with the same owner) was able to. so the excuse doesn't really ring true. Also, they charged me $..25 for an unbuttered bun for my sandwich that was supposed to be free from a survey I filled out. Seriously? Charging for NO butter, makes NO sense, and so much for my "free" sandwich. (That's the last time I spend my time to take one of their surveys!) according to the person, I spoke to there, it's a glitch with the Chick-fil-A system (that has never happened to me at any other Chick-fil-A) but they told me that when placing an order online, if you remove the buttered bun and add an unbuttered bun, they charge you as if you're adding an extra bun. I tried to get them to explain the rationale behind that to me, and they again tried to blame the app but I've never been charged for an unbuttered bun before except by this location today. Both Pasadena locations which are owned by the same person, now let the answering machine answer most of the time and tell you to leave a message or "send a text." (?!) I did send a text and it wasn't returned. I saw later that someone called me back on my phone three times and didn't leave a message; apparently that was them. Why call and not leave a message? It's ridiculous, considering what they charge. Letting calls go to an answering machine is not some thing any other Chick-fil-A does, so given all of this, the CFA Pasadena locations do not provide the level of service and quality I've come to expect from the years of eating Chick-fil-A. And now I have to wait an entire year to get another peppermint chip milkshake because this Pasadena location couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone or remove the product from their available seasonal menu like their other Pasadena location did. I would've just gone to the one in Glendale at the Americana located five minutes from my house (which had the milkshake) but there's nowhere to park there so I drove 20 minutes to go to a drive-through. The company also makes it a laborious nightmare to get a hold of someone when you have an issue with your order. Calling Chick Fil A Cares doesn't solve the problem usually. In my case, they didn't even file a complaint with the store. I had to call the store myself and speak to three people before I got it addressed. The worst part it's the only one close to me. I asked for my bacon egg & cheese biscuit sandwich without cheese from the drive through. Received one with no egg. Parked the car, went in, returned to car with a biscuit sandwich that when opened had only just bacon. That's right just biscuit and bacon. Went in again. Returned this time with just biscuit a cheese. This is a special kind of stupid. When they finally got it right I was given a gift card. When I tried to use the gift card the only sandwich I order was NOT included on this card. I spent 20 minutes waiting for my curbside order (with a projected wait of 4-9 minutes and supposedly 'on its way' three minutes into the wait) before sticking my head inside. There was a gaggle of people waiting to have their orders taken by the lone man at the register. One person is running orders to tables while four people are taking it easy at the drive thru window, making light conversation with idle hands. I advocate for slacking off when it's not busy, but this wasn't the time. How was that fair to the two guys trying to keep the boat afloat? How was that fair to the people waiting to order? To the owner. Replace your management! I placed an order in the drive thru. I ordered a South Western Salad and got a Cobb one with no dressing. I checked my bag and walked inside with the receipt and bags. For one, the young person working in the front was clueless and so was the supervisor. He was so excited to walk over with confidence, but had absolutely no idea how to rectify the situation. He had the audacity to accuse me of switching out the salad. Hello Chick-fil-a, I'm not a worker but I miraculously went behind the counter and took a different salad. Seriously!!! The two idiot excuses for supervisors are Dakota who stares at you with a blank expression having to request assistance. Zack is the person who Dakota kept referencing when he was accusing me of stealing and switching out the salads. When asked to speak to Zack, I was told "he went on his lunch and was off the clock so we could speak to another person or wait." Dakota couldn't do anything. He claims to be a supervisor but is clueless and has no authority .After standing there a few more minutes, you could tell Dakota isn't respected by any of his workers. All of them (either) ignored him and rolled their eyes when he was giving them direction and instructions. By the way, a young woman was so kind to try and assist. Her name is Monica. My husband saw a Frosted coffee on the menu and asked Dillion at the pickup window what it was and if it was good. Dillion said it was his favorite drink and he get a few a week. My husband said next time I'll order that. Dillion then said hold on. He handed my husband a free Frosted coffee then noticed we had our foster dog with us and ask if he could get her something. Dillion brought out a dog cookie in a napkin. Way to go the extra! I could get an Arnold Palmer at 20 different places in town but I can't get service like this unless I go to a Chick fil A.
