The order was a chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese, fries and a chocolate shake. Then I presented the QR code for the free sandwich that I ordered in addition, a spicy chicken. The total was to be 19.29. I told them the last sandwich was free, they told me to tell it to the next window, Which i did and they in turn said move up to the window, which i did. Meanwhile lots of vehicles were lining up behind me. The guy at the window looked at the code and saw the sandwich should be free and that the 1 meal to pay for should not have been close to 20 dollars. He told me to move up, which I did. He brought the order, had to go back for the chocolate shake that he forgot. I ended up paying for the free sandwich as well as the order that I was planning to pay for. This location is blah. I never really feel that "their pleasure" is sincere. Lol. The food is barely ever piping hot. The nuggets & strips are rarely ever fresh. YET, I go back. Smh. Trust me, it's only because we love my son. He loves CFA. The parking lot is small. The drive thru is slow. It is located in a busy shopping center near Target, Harris Teeter, & other restaurants. We went to this location earlier in the week after having multiple disappointing trips at the location off of high house. Everyone of the staff were cheerful and welcoming and our drive thru order was perfect. I heard multiple my pleasures and received the kind of service Chick Fil-A is known for. I think it's important to tell companies when they get it right and when they get it wrong. This is now our go to. I also see that the owner cares and responds to reviews which is consistent with a culture of client care! Did I mention our waffles fries were hot and service was quick! read more

In town for a conference and this location was close to our hotel. There was barely a line when we got to the drive through at 8:00 am, so we were pumped. Normally at our locations back home the lines are around the building. This location was so unlike any chick-fil-a experience l have ever had. I had to repeat my order several times, just to get to the window and be told my order could not be found. There was one car in front of me! I was really confused. I repeated my order 2 more times at the window and still the lady had no clue where my order was. So what should been a quick experience turned into me waiting 20 minutes to get food. This Chick-fil-A does some very odd things that don't make sense at times. We ordered a large fry and this is what they gave us. A small fry in a small box and then placed it in a large box. How is this common sense. Also, one time I ordered salad with ranch dressing and they gave me ranch dipping sauce instead. Which was extremely inconvenient and gross. Chick Fil A I've read the recent articles about the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru lines being the slowest in the industry, but I've honestly always assumed these concerns were about some other locations or they were just small differences related to not having a separate window for payment. But now I have to say, if you go to the Parkside Chick-Fil-A, there is a significant risk you be stuck there for a VERY LONG TIME with no way to leave. This happened one evening last month when they had the outdoor crew taking orders. Just after they handed me my receipt about 8 cars from the pickup window, the line completely stopped and did not restart for 10 minutes. I waited so long, I found the phone number on the receipt and called the restaurant and asked them why I was stuck there. The person who answered said they were short-staffed and were giving out gift cards as compensation. This didn't explain why nothing was moving at all. The line will definitely move if they hand food out the window, so apparently this was not happening at all. When I eventually got to the pickup window, I was handed the food along with a gift card for a frosted drink. I was very inconvenienced and very wary about going there again. And the compensation was hardly worth it. In that time, I could have driven to the Stone Creek Village Chick-Fil-A drive-thru line, which is also not known to be speedy but it does flow, and still saved time. The other night it happened again. Warily approaching the Parkside Chick-Fil-A on 10/7/19 at 6:30 pm, I saw cars waiting in both order lines but unwisely talked myself out of heading somewhere else. I try to be an optimistic person, but sometimes I go too far. Shortly after entering the enclosed line area (i.e. the part with no way to exit), I realized this was a stupid decision. Nothing was moving. Even if they are busy, the line should move AT LEAST A LITTLE. What happened? Did someone order CHICKEN? Six long minutes later, the line started to inch ahead, but it still took 20+ minutes to get through the entire line. When I finally got to the window, I complained about the wait and the explanation was "we had a lot of orders". I asked the employee to tell the manager this was not acceptable. By now, this restaurant should know its own traffic patterns and should not be caught by surprise, if this excuse even makes sense. And the design of the drive-thru lane with no way to leave should require them to give priority to drive-thru orders if they care about their customers. Their poor performance caused me to be 15 minutes late to pick up my other call ahead order at another restaurant. Chick-Fil-A, I think of you as unique in the fast-food business. Maybe it is because of your smart hiring of intelligent people which results in polite service and consistent food quality. But if you are in the "fast food" business, you are only getting it HALF RIGHT if you ignore the word "fast". At Parkside, the performance is bad enough that I feel you have an obligation to warn people entering the drive-thru line what the current drive-thru time is. It is guaranteed I would not have entered the line if I had known the wait was so unreasonably long. Now I have learned to always assume it will be. So much for optimism. read more

I'll be honest with you, I am not a huge fan of fast food, but this place is solid. It is right down the road, and it is quick and consistent. The kids love it, and it is a nice quick jaunt over to parkside to get a good chicken sandwich, wrap, or salad. I like the fact that even though I love the waffle fries, I can get a fresh side of fruit with my meal. I have to say, the one thing that they do the best, is customer service. If you had a bad experience and didn't say anything, then that is on you. If you do have something wrong, they will fix it immediately. They are uber polite and friendly too. Please be aware - if you are a first responder, or simply anyone who doesn't like to have their time wasted, be very careful about using the drive thru at this location. Once you enter their drive thru lanes, you can not exit. You have to wait for everyone to order, and then receive their order, until you can finally exit. This has gotten me a few times and I have missed calls because of it. Overall, my rating of this place is a 2.5. Just average. Sometimes the experience is great, sometimes it feels as tho I'm in the drive thru lane of a McDonald's. The last time I went, I was greeted with an unfriendly "what do you want?" It threw me off, but honestly was not a big deal. I'm sure I wouldn't be in the greatest mood standing out side at night taking orders in the freezing cold, when they have a perfectly good drive thru speaker box that never seems to be utilized. read more

This is the 3rd or 4th time in a row going to this chick fil a where something was left out of my order.

This location is the worst in the area and I've given them multiple tries. Is there even a leader at night at this place? Ordered a salad, paid, instructed to pull forward and waited for it (had already been waiting 15 in drive thru), then the employee comes out and says "sorry we don't have any salads." AFTER I had already paid and waited! So, although I didn't want anything else I had already been waiting... so I ordered something else. Finally, received my order and kid says it's all in the bag. Irritated, got home to unpack everything and we have NO SAUCE. The sauces were listed on our receipt. Three nugget entrees and a sandwich with no sauce after a 15/20 minute wait. And nuggets were overcooked and looked like pulled off pieces of a strips. This location continually fails in their quality and customer service standards and it shows. I've never had problems with a Chick-fil-A franchise as much as this one. They need some leadership and revamping big time. read more

It's usually very fast service, as I come here often. Very disappointed today to say the least when I remained in line for almost 25 minutes, and when I finally arrived to the front, I had to wait another 5-10 minutes to receive my food.
