    Spicy Garlic Chicken

I was pleasantly surprised! I have been looking for good Korean fried chicken in the Triangle for 2 years. I really enjoyed the Spicy Garlic! It was very flavorful without being overly or underly sauced. The cashier was nice. I also appreciate that your chicken is made to order. Ambiance was chill. It's literally a chicken shop inside of a grocery store so I wasn't expecting much "ambiance" just good food and that's what I got! Great place to stop and get a bite after you have grabbed your groceries from H Mart.

Came here hoping for some really good Korean fried Chicken. I got a 10 count of drumsticks, half spicy garlic and half soy garlic. I really wanted to like it, but it simply put it just didn't have any flavor. It was incredibly salty, and no hints of garlic, spice, or really anything else. It was moderately crunchy, the thing you really look for in Korean fried Chicken - maybe just slightly more crunchy than Kentucky fried Chicken is the best way to describe my experience? I've had Korean fried Chicken in other places, so I know what the standard is. Unfortunately this was not it for me. The service was fine, but it did take around 20 minutes for my order to be complete. I don't think they were that busy at the time, but I was willing to wait provided that it would be good! It's inside the H-Mart cafeteria, so it's got good location. I'm looking forward to it getting better in the future!

This place is SO delicious and just like the chicken place it replaced, which was called Soo chicken. I was so disappointed to see it go so when I came in and saw a new chicken spot I had to try it. They have all types of wing flavors but the best of course is the soy garlic. However, I got a side of honey garlic today just to try it and it was delicious as well so I would recommend that too. I poured it over my rice because the white rice and soga chicken combo is undefeated. I love this spot and paid around $17 for half a chicken and a side. It took around 18-20 minutes to cook but so worth the time because the chicken tastes so fresh and crispy.

While visiting the area, we stumbled into h mart and were very impressed by the food court options. For my main course, I chose chicken bee. I got the small boneless chicken in honey garlic sauce with a side of rice. It was more food than I thought it would be, definitely a great portion for the price as well. The food came out extremely hot and fresh! The chicken had great crunch, were large pieces and were juicy. I also really liked the sauce, and felt that there was just the right amount as well. The screen at the top doesn't display when the food is ready, so just have to keep an eye out.

The Service was okay, cashier was a joy! However, the food was way too pricey and too forever to come out.

Chicken is well fried and the sauces are great but when you bite in it's bland. The chicken itself needs some seasoning.

Lots of different options, my favorite was the different pork bellies and the LA Galbi was great as well. Also really enjoyed the little side dishes (반찬). I really love the interior, they seem to have a good ventilation system for each table with a grill, there's a bar and the tables are fairly huge. Not super loud either, each table is spaced apart thoughtfully. Now, I have to praise the staff here for their AWESOME customer service. If I could give a 100/5 for customer service alone, I would. This was like Michelin-level elite service. They refilled my drink, changed my grill for clean one, brought over sauces, Really loved the energy and personality of all the staff that I interacted with :). Also my main hostess, Samantha I think was her name, was next level service like better than some of the Michelin star restaurants that I have been to. She assisted in grilling some of the meats whenever she brought them over and it was outstanding, I was just awestruck by the service provided this evening.

From check in to being seated, the experience was seamless we only waited about five minutes. Our server, Talaya, was incredible and provided outstanding hospitality throughout our visit. While the food was delicious, what stood out most was the teamwork among the staff. My water glass never sat empty, and sauces/sides were always replenished without us having to ask. The ambiance was relaxing, welcoming, and perfect for a casual meal. It's also very kid friendly, which I appreciated. I can't wait to bring my little one on our next visit. Looking forward to coming back!

Grabbed lunch from here recently and enjoyed myself!…read more The staff were polite and helpful throughout the meal. My wife and I ended up splitting the kimchi pancake as an appetizer, and we both got the beef bibimbap for our entrees. We didn't end up getting any interesting beverages this time, but there were a few draft and bottled beers available as well as soju, sake, and other variations of alcohol :) Anyway, our kimchi pancake arrived pretty quickly, and it was very tasty! I liked how the green onion was integrated throughout, and the dipping sauce was very flavorful. It looked like it may be a bit spicy but in fact was sweet-ish :) Our bibimbaps arrived soon after, served in hot stone bowls. In addition, they provided six different small side dishes, all of which were very tasty! I really enjoyed the variety, as they ranged from pasta salad to kimchi. Honestly, the bibimbap was maybe my least favorite part of the meal, which surprised me. It wasn't bad at all, with plenty of tasty veggies included, but it didn't blow me away. Maybe I should have added more of the bottled sauce they provided :) Overall, we both really enjoyed our lunch at Okja and would definitely come back!

It was a calm day, not too many people in. The space is nice and clean. The waiter was welcoming and nice. We let them know there was a birthday and they bought out a piece of cake and sang happy birthday. I paid for myself and my partner but wanted it on one check to prevent my card from being swiped twice. There's a slight language barrier so I don't think what I was saying was conveyed due to my card being swiped twice. Not a huge issue. Overall experience was great. We will be going back and maybe even trying out the karaoke room they have.

Love that there's a restaurant conveniently inside a market…read more For the restaurant, don't expect table service. There's a place to grab your own utensils and complimentary water/tea. I was good with that because the food was delicious and such good value. Shared 3 dishes between 3 people: seafood stew, ddeokboki, and spicy LA galbi. Loved all of the dishes, all delicious with substantial quantity and amount of veggies. Perhaps what stood out the most was the ddeokboki since that's the best value dish I've ever seen at any restaurant--large in quantity that doesn't shy away in the amount of mix-ins (fishcake, cabbage, green onions, etc). Definitely will be keeping this place in mind for the next time I'm in the area.

While the selection is limited, especially if you're looking for hard to find fresh produce, the restaurant has you covered for standard Asian products. Our go-to (only order) is the Korean fried chicken. The restaurant serves a whole cut-up chicken for approximately $20. If you've not experienced Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) previously, you're in for a treat. We typically order plain, as we've found (KFC) can veer too sweet for our palate - but we are definitely in the minority. The crunch factor is hard to beat. On this particular occasion we mixed, original with a flavored option. I love original/plain but did find the plain to be under seasoned and the chicken weirdly cut up. At any rate, it was still delicious and would recommend. We've tried KFC prior and would order here again, but there is a chain restaurant on radar. KFC: 3.8
