Korean Corn Dogs - Cheese & Hot Dog Potato
Bethany K.

Located inside of H-Mart along with many other great spots. The food court is on the right when you first enter. I don't like American corn dogs but these are amazing! You can get them plain but they normally come sprinkled with sugar and drizzled with ketchup and honey mustard. The potato one is my favorite. Really good quality cheese and dogs. Out of everything in the food court Ktown and Chicken Bee are probably the most kid friendly if you have a picky eater. If you have never had Korean corn dogs it's definitely a must try. I've had them at other places but this is the best so far.

This is located inside the H-Mart and let me tell you, you don't want to miss out on this place. We had the mixed Korean Corn Dog and the kimchi ramen and edamame...Everything was amazing! I am a K Corn Dog freak and this was the best one I have ever had. The Kimchi ramen was so fresh and full of flavor! Don't let the fact that this food court is inside a grocery store fool you. It's amazing quality!

Service was wonderful, check in on the Yelp app ahead of time so you don't have to wait as long…read morebecause this place gets BUSY! For a good reason as well. Even though this time we did not see the robot which is always cool we did have excellent service. Our waitress was quick and attentive, she always helped in any way she could and make great recommendations. It's pricey but for a nice before surgery for my kiddo, totally worth it! Food is wonderful, we did the AYCE silver meals, the youngest did not eat enough for that to been worth the price but the gentleman made up for it. I would love for them to offer more side options or sauce options. The place was pretty clean, busy and a great place for date night, family night, or group get togethers

I came here when I was visiting my in laws, so naturally, I wanted to expose them to KBBQ. Unfortunately, I picked this place because a lot of reviews said its the best and allat, when in truth, this place is one of the worst KBBQ I have ever visited. Not only they stopped serving lettuce wrap (sure, they have it in the menu but they didn't stock it because their lettuce supplier increased the price or whatever), they did not offer any other wrap options like a decent kbbq should have (rice wrap, radish wrap, or shisho leave...etc). The meat quality? It's the cheapest cut you could ever get. The kalbi cut is so thin and tasted old (spoiler alert, they should be thicker and higher quality..), the other unseasoned meat cut is lower quality too. The seasoned meat were so bad I had hard time enjoying it. The bulgogi did not taste like a propee bulgogi and once again, tasted old like it has been in the fridge for too long. The spicy bulgogi was so grainy and not spicy at all, almost like they're using low quality gochugaru. Honestly, you will be much better off buying your own ingredients at h-mart or any asian grocery than going to this place. The only saving grace was the kind server who tends us often. 10/10 will not recommend.

Great spot in Cary for comfort Korean food! The menu is fairly extensive, so there are lots of…read moreoptions depending on what you're craving. Bonus is they have lots of seating, so great for large groups! We ordered the seafood pancake, donkatsu, and tofu soup. Everything came out delicious, well balanced in flavor, and the portions were generous. The seafood pancake had a nice crisp and was a large portion with loads of seafood, the donkatsu was satisfying, and the tofu soup was comforting and flavorful. The owner was super sweet as well and kept refilling our water which was a good sign. Overall a really solid meal and a great place to stop if you're looking for hearty Korean comfort food in Cary.

It was enough for two meals for me, and the price is reasonable! ($13 for the entree, $2 for extra rice) The wait staff is always really nice. All around good vibes here! Edit: when my boyfriend and I came in at 5:30pm on a Sunday night, the service and food were both impeccable. We will likely come more often due to this! The kalbi jjhim is fantastic. The meat was very tender, and the sauce is so flavorful. The only reasons I put down four stars for service was the most recent time we visited, our servers were relatively inattentive. The atmosphere is nice, but the temperature in the restaurant is always just a little too cold. The pork bulgogi lunchbox is well worth the price! I love the way they season the bulgogi, although it is on the saltier side.

Grabbed lunch from here recently and enjoyed myself!…read more The staff were polite and helpful throughout the meal. My wife and I ended up splitting the kimchi pancake as an appetizer, and we both got the beef bibimbap for our entrees. We didn't end up getting any interesting beverages this time, but there were a few draft and bottled beers available as well as soju, sake, and other variations of alcohol :) Anyway, our kimchi pancake arrived pretty quickly, and it was very tasty! I liked how the green onion was integrated throughout, and the dipping sauce was very flavorful. It looked like it may be a bit spicy but in fact was sweet-ish :) Our bibimbaps arrived soon after, served in hot stone bowls. In addition, they provided six different small side dishes, all of which were very tasty! I really enjoyed the variety, as they ranged from pasta salad to kimchi. Honestly, the bibimbap was maybe my least favorite part of the meal, which surprised me. It wasn't bad at all, with plenty of tasty veggies included, but it didn't blow me away. Maybe I should have added more of the bottled sauce they provided :) Overall, we both really enjoyed our lunch at Okja and would definitely come back!

I associate Korean cuisine with pure comfort, and Okja certainly delivered that! The banchan (side…read moredishes) were plentiful and tasty. We also got the: - Seafood Pancake (crispy flour pancake with squid, shrimp, crab meat & scallions): Definitely my favorite dish- perfectly crispy and simultaneously fluffy, lots of well-cooked seafood. - Tang Soo Yook (battered deep fried pork, drizzled in sweet & sour sauce): I've never had this dish before, but I will admit I imagined it a bit different. It was more batter forward so the pork did get lost, but the batter itself was super chewy and almost tapioca-like, which was interesting. I liked the sauce, but I wish it came separately for dipping as the pork did lose its crunch. - Bi-Naeng (cold buckwheat noodles with pickled daikon, cucumber, pear, hard boiled egg, beef & spicy sauce): So refreshing! Loved the chew of the noodles and how complementary the spicy sauce was with the sweet pickled toppings. The beef was on the tough side with not a ton of flavor though. Ambiance is really nice and spacious, there are two sides: one with the bar and booths, another with wooden benches. Service was surprisingly fast. Lots of parking. 8/10 would recommend!

We were seated right away, and the customer service set the tone from the start. Our server was warm, attentive, and especially great at explaining how the dim sum works here. She did not just tell us; she actually demonstrated it, shared cooking tips, and made us feel completely comfortable jumping in. She checked on us often, and the rest of the staff was also wonderfully attentive without being overbearing. The food came out quickly. One of the best parts of the meal was being able to order steak, chicken, shrimp, and lots of vegetables, then cook everything just the way we liked it. It made the meal feel interactive, fun, and special. For my daughter and me, it was not just dinner -- it was an experience we got to create together. A heads-up for first-timers: there is a two-hour table limit since it is all-you-can-eat, and they do charge a fee for excessive waste. As long as you are reasonable and order what you can realistically eat, you should be totally fine. $39 per person. Thanks to Five Spice for a memorable mother-daughter experience.
