I placed an online order for a Club Sub. This location is notorious for forgetting to add the bacon so when I got to my vehicle, I checked my sub- NO BACON. I went inside to kindly explain the dilemma. The young man with locs, who I initially thought was joking, rudely replied, "we ain't got none" and later told me to "come back tomorrow and ask that" when I asked about them being out of bacon. I requested a refund and once it was completed, I asked if he wanted to toss the sub or if he wanted me to do it, to which he replied, "you can do whatever you want with it." If the location was completely out of bacon, that's totally fine and there's a way to convey that. Or better yet, when you receive an order for a sub that calls for bacon, why not give the customer a call before proceeding with the order? Not sure what type of day he was having but I wish him the best and I will not be returning. read more

I stopped in to Jersey Mike's subs tonight and there was only a man and his daughter waiting for their order. The guy took my order and as I was standing there, I realized I had a coupon for a free sub, so I let the guy know and somewhere my order got lost in translation because I ended up with two regular sized subs and I paid for a giant...Somebody please help me understand why this was difficult for two people to handle. I'll be there bright and early tomorrow at lunch time to find out what happened to the rest of my Giant sandwich **Update, I followed up with my issue and Kudos to Stee (I think that's her name) who after listening to my issue and seeing the evidence said the person(s) who were present that night made a mistake. She promptly remade the sandwich and refunded my costs as well. BTW, BOTH sandwiches were delicious and I absolutely recommend this shop when you are in the mood for a great sandwich stop in and make sure you have a ruler. This location never fails to disappoint. No matter the time of visit it is always severely understaffed. If customer service is a part of their staff's training, they failed. The only person working ignored several folks standing in line. After chatting with another staff member on break, the working person apparently collected a stack of online orders to complete, then continued to ignore the in store patrons. The sandwiches are adequate, but the disdain these employees show for being at work bleeds into the customer experience. Management needs to set higher expectations and actually put effort into training. read more

Great experience from Briana, Ericka and the GOAT... that's what they call him. My sub was awesome. Great temperature and awesome ingredients that were fresh and flavorful. I used a coupon from my area circular that made the price great as well. The team of young people accommodated my sub request and didn't treat me as if I was a bothersome. Came here for dinner before grocery shopping and didn't really have issues. No one was in the restaurant so when we entered I heard an employee in the say "ughhhhh" as the door beeped when we opened it. I felt really bad for coming in but I think someone else came out to help us. He was quick and pleasant. I got the original Italian sandwich (cold) and it was pretty tasty. My bf got the cheesesteak. It was also really good. It did take about 10 minute for my partners sandwich to be made but we weren't really in a rush & the guy who made it was friendly. Soooo, I went into this establishment today at 12:20 pm to order for takeout, and this is what I saw. (See photos) How sanitary is putting the receipt on top of the sandwich, especially when between making sandwiches and touching appliances, there was no changing of gloves by anyone??? The young guy cutting the bread DID NOT HAVE ON A MASK!! Everyone else did. I think I'll find a more health-conscious, Pandemic-conscious, more sanitary Jersey Mike's to patronize. Parkside Town Commons, the shopping center where Jersey Mike's is located, has been around for a little over a year now and every time I'm in the area they're putting in new businesses. Jersey Mike's is another great lunch option that has been added to the center. Large, open establishment with plenty of natural sunlight, in addition to all the "regular" Jersey Mike's features (large, bright murals on the wall, a TV in one corner, easy to navigate sandwich line, etc). Jersey Mike's is definitely my favorite "fast food sandwich joint" in the area. They cut all their meats when you order and while they have less toppings than some of their competitors, everything is always fresh. Mike's way sandwiches come with tomato, lettuce, mayo, onions, vinegar, salt, pepper, oil and oregano. I highly recommend ordering the roast beef and I have slightly partial to "Steve's Way": light lettuce, tomato, light mayo, extra pickles with salt and pepper and make sure to ask for wheat bread! **note: if you ask for your sandwich Steve's way, they'll have no clue what you're talking about--purely a shout out to Steve A. but you SHOULD definitely try it! Didn't have to wait too long, probably only 5 minutes. One thing that always stands out at this Jersey Mike's is the service. Everyone working there has a positive and warm attitude. This location is very close to where I live and I have been here twice and my wife has been here twice as well. The first time I went was a few days after it opened, you could tell the staff was still being trained and was not exactly sure what was going on. They accidentally charged me an extra sandwich. I discovered this on the bill when I reached home, I called them and the manager without hesitation corrected it and apologized. The 2nd time I went was last week, the staff was incredibly efficient and well trained, I was very impressed and I plan to go here every other week. About the food: I always loved Jersey Mike sandwiches and consider it to be the best among its competitors (Subway, Quiznos, Firehouse subs). read more

Don't waste your time if you want good service. Ordered online and they forgot to put half our order in the bag. Then was told, I could come get it if I wanted my food. Would be ok with that if this was the first time, but this is the second time in the last month. Stopped by today to pick up a sandwich after work. I walked in to see the entire staff wiping everything down, sweeping the floors, and organizing the store. It's very important to me that places that sell food keep things very clean. I was joking with the girl behind the counter that I felt bad that she had to make my sandwich after the place looked so good! I find Jersey Mike's to be MUCH better than Subway or the other places. I visited this store on a Sunday morning. There were three employees behind the counter and we were the only ones in the store. A lady was carrying potato chip bags from the back and greeted us when we entered. She was wearing gloves, and proceeded to start making our sandwiches with the same gloves on she was carrying stuff from the back of the store. I asked her to change her gloves, and the employees attitude clearly changed. An older gentleman was preparing boxed lunches. He took his glove off from his right hand, wiped sweat off his forehead, and then put the glove back on. He then proceeded to make the sandwiches for my family. I was too shocked to say anything. The staff had difficulty wrapping the sandwiches, put the wrong bread top on the wrong sandwich (wheat on a white), and lacked friendliness. I paid for my sandwiches but promptly had to throw them in the trash (see sweaty hands above). The employees at this store do not follow NC code regarding glove changes. This can be a hazard to your health, especially with food that is not going to be cooked before you eat it. "Enjoy" at your own risk. read more

I visited the store 25 minutes before closing and was denied service due to grill being cleaned before closing but there was meat being cooked when I requested a #16. I went to my car and proceeded to watch them prepare other meats on the grill after denying me. When I entered the store I was not greeted. I walked to the order sign and was ask what did I need and I said I wanted to order. The cashier just stood there and looked and me and I asked was he ready to take my order and his unprofessional response was, I'm waiting on you. I've been here for 55 minutes. They're short staffed, they have young people working, I get it, I've been in the restaurant business a long time. Young staff needs training. This is worse than a subway, wait wise. Dinosaur moves. Each ticket has been about 8 minutes, on the best ticket. Never again...this was my 4th trip to this location and ordered online so I wouldn't have to wait in the restaurant and yet AGAIN I had to wait at least 20+ minutes after the online said it would be ready and all of my food was wrong! Every time I go the food is never ready, the cold food is warm from sitting out and tonight my hot sandwich was so cold when I got home (I live about 5 minutes way depending on the traffic lights) that I had to put it in the oven- this was the sandwich I was supposedly having to wait on?!?! Also again I ordered extra meat and cheese on this sandwich and it was not there. Every time I ask I get some kind of excuse. I work in healthcare and have been trying to support our colleagues in the restaurant industry but this is inexcusable - especially 4 times. I went in and got an attitude from the girl who made my sub because the poor thing had to take the top back off of the sub to add mustard that I had forgotten to ask to add. When I went to pay, the girl at the register asked her quietly if she should add the 50 percent off that they were running and she told her she didn't really care. Little did she know I already knew about the discount. So they essentially tried to charge me double what I was supposed to pay all because the poor thing had to take the top of the sub back off??? The first thing that impressed me was the way in which the staff communicating with the customers, it was very friendly and warm. Alongside that, the meal was very good. And I was disgusted to find two large pieces of grizzle /bone in the ham.
