    HUNGRYMAN is so good.

Awesome place with Bagels like you find in Manhattan. I ordered the Hungry man sandwich and it was amazing. Service is also excellent.

Great spot for bagels! They have lots of options for both bagel and cream cheese flavors. Their bacon, egg, and cheese was solid but wish I got two eggs instead of one. I've tried their asiago, everything, blueberry, plain, chocolate chip, and french toast bagels. No complaints! For a sweet option, their chocolate chip cream cheese on a chocolate chip bagel is amazing. My boyfriend loves the scallion cream cheese on everything and the strawberry cream cheese on blueberry as well. Service is quick and staff is friendly. Check them out!

Great bagels, quick service, with a bustling yet cozy ambiance. There is no need to over complaint a good bagel shop and I won't do that with this review either. Pro tip: the line was consistently out the door so get there early. Especially if you want a plain biscuit ;)

Egg Taylor ham and cheese on everything. Skimpier than ever
    Alex M.

Used to be my favorite bagel place in the area, came back for the first time in a few months and was heavily disappointed. The price went up, bagels got way skimpier, at over $8 for a single sandwich id at least expect the same or better quality as it has been in the past. I mean just look at past reviews and pictures, this bagel looks awful compared to others. If this is how it will stay I can't say I can ever recommend or return again.

First time visiting and won't be the last. Good customer service and they fill the orders quickly. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a everything bagel. The bagel was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Plenty of bacon and the egg was cooked perfectly. I also got an onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese to go and a plain egg bagel. The onion bagel smelled so good I ate it when I got home. I think the jalapeños might be pickled cos not too hot, which was fine. The onion bagel itself was delicious.

Lox bagel. Excellent taste it's the best place I've found for bagels in the Raleigh area. It was very well made.

    Less than 5% lox
    Christopher J.

As a ex New Yorker, I can say this place is a joke. Lock cream cheese and bagel turned out to be a big slather of soft cream cheese with tiny bits of lox mixed in. I estimate 5% locks to 95% cream cheese. When I tried to buy a piece of lox the manager wanted to charge me over $12 for a sandwich that included lox but also tomato and onion which I did not want. The coffee was barely better than what you'd find at a Waffle House. Otherwise the sesame bagel was fine.

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel through DoorDash. there was mold in my bacon and I got extra bacon so I'm not sure how many pieces it was in. DoorDash refused to refund my money twice, so I called the restaurant. When I called about the order, the manager was dismissive and insinuated I was lying. I informed him I took pictures and showed them to DoorDash And I had no reason to lie. He didn't care and refused to give my money back. I told him don't worry about it and he wanted to keep arguing with me so I hung up. Will never order from here again.

Came here on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and they sold out on most of their bagels. I ordered a sesame bagel with lox spread. I was hoping for a thicker amount of cream cheese, and my daughter noted that her bagel was doughy. Clean restaurant and helpful staff.

Decent bagels but not what I would consider as good as some of the other top rated places in the Triangle.

Their bagels are wood fired so they're not your traditional style of bagels and are a bit harder and chewier. Their variety of cream cheese flavors is what really sets them apart in my opinion - they very dense and creamy. They also have a very unique menu with many different seasonal offerings that rotate frequently. Over the years, I've fine tuned down my order to a couple things each of which I think are 10/10 and some of the best breakfast options in Raleigh! - Grits bagel with dulce pecan or fruit cream cheese (I prefer the grits bagel over plain) - Poppy bagel with spiced honey cream cheese (warning the poppy bagel can be a little messy but worth it) - Breakfast sandwich with sausage and American cheese (sausage is the best - a little sweet and spicy) Every time I go, the staff is always very nice and provides quick service. It can be busy during the mornings and weekends, however they do offer online ordering where you can easily pick up your food and avoid the lines. This location is in transfer food hall, which has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, however they also have a new standalone location that recently opened. If you go to that location, I definitely recommend trying the coconut caramel latte!

Restricted from choosing bottled soda of any of the fountain drinks. - Asiago bagel tasted Plain. I could barely taste the asiago. |Final Thoughts: There is almost no reason to choose NC Bagel over Panera or other bagel shops if you just want bagel. The hard texture is a huge letdown. I've never experienced this bagel issue in Breugger's, Panera, anywhere really. There are other breakfast options I haven't tried here so might be worth exploring but right now the only reason I'd return here is if I am craving for a Reuben sandwich for breakfast. And that mostly makes up the 2 stars I'm giving it. Really hope they improve the overall quality of their bagels. This breakfast deli spot has great potential to be "The Breakfast Spot" but it won't be able to accomplish that if their bagels are as hard as rocks. | Overall Score: 2.4/5

It took some time to find parking as the surrounding parking lots were full, but I found street parking around the corner. The ambiance is warm and cozy. I ordered a cookie butter latte and an oatmeal raisin cookie w/ walnuts. Both were absolutely delicious, a great combo. When I finished my latte, I dipped my cookie in the cup to get the last of the foam...so good. The baked goods are from Ninth Street Bakery in Durham. How amazing local supporting local. Overall, the little coffee shop is cute and has a little bit of outdoor seating which I liked but is expensive for being so mid in my opinion. I ended up paying almost $7 for a blueberry latte. Overall, my latte tasted like a regular latte, even though it did have a seasonal blueberry syrup added to it. I know that blueberry is very light in flavor compared to coffee so I asked for more than the allotted amount of syrup and their response was that they had a certain amount added to of syrups added. So I said ok thinking they would take that into consideration but when I got my coffee, guess the amount they added didn't matter because it tasted the same as a latte regular. Unfortunately, at the end of my coffee (like the last 20%) had what I assume to be bits of berry in it? The texture made me toss the remaining amount. With the high prices and the location right on a busy street / no parking I probably wouldn't be back but I did enjoy being about to sit outside under an umbrella and the service was nice / fast. All the stars would go to the servers and overall cleanliness honestly.
