I stopped at this location as I was in the area and wanted coffee and a bagel. I have recently had amazing experiences with bagel sandwiches and wanted to continue the run. I tried the bagel special listed on the picture attached. One egg with peppered bacon and cheddar with garlic cream cheese spread. The sandwich was good and the pepper was not overwhelming on the bacon. I loved the cream cheese spread and the bagel was soft inside. The coffee was hot but I would like options for sweeteners such as sugar or stevia for my coffee. I don't use artificial sweeteners and that was the only option. The staff were nice and the service was quick which I appreciated. I ate inside and the tables were clean and the place tidy.

Me heating up a 9 dollar sandwich that I waited 30 minutes for. Work 1.5 miles away

I waited for 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich just for it to be cold. I was very patient at the least if your going to make me wait, make the sandwich good. Very disappointed

I'm not sure why this place is so badly rated. I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel and jalapeño cream cheese. So spicy but actually so perfect for a savory breakfast. They have plenty of bagel and cream cheese options. And if you order multiple you get a discount. The coffee wasn't the best actually. It tasted kind of strange. Maybe it was the creamer but there was 0 flavor. Just bitter no matter how much milk or Sugar you added. As for the ambience the restaurant is very nice and well kept but I don't thin it's common for people To eat there. Seems like a to go spot. As for customer service I wasn't a huge fan of most of the employees. There was no hi or hello as I walk up. They seem a little impatient and not friendly. Not to mention the whole time we were eating they were gossiping about work and talking about stuff they probably shouldn't in front of customers

Regular bagel, cream cheese, lox, capers, tomato was prepared well and sliced as requested. The hashbrowns were a cold soggy steamed ball of partially cooked potatoes which were not browned and crispy as should be characterized by properly cooked hash browns Packaging was excellent as delivered by Doordash which arrived early. .

I've had a few different types of bagel sandwiches here. Overall this place is good! So I'll start with the bad. Today I had two different brisket ones. Not as good as my usual favorites. The brisket was over cooked and the peppers would have been better cooked instead of raw. The good. The bagels are delicious. Jalapeño cheddar. Onion. Garlic. Asiago. Even just plain. They're really delicious! I Love the blueberry with strawberry cream cheese.

Heart shaped bagels for Valentine's Day! $7 for 6 bagels and cream cheese.

We have been to this Bruegger's location multiple times and have always had good experiences. Employees are friendly, quick, clear, and make sure your order is correct. I especially like their garlic bagels and their blueberry bagels. The bagels are flavorful, reasonably sized, and affordable. We will continue frequenting this location to purchase tasty, satisfying bagels!

    Better breakfast sandwich open faced.

I haven't been to this location in a very long time and forgot how small the seating area is compared to many of their other locations. They do have some outdoor seating too. The parking lot is also always crammed because La Farm is just a few doors over. The employees are friendly and really keep the line moving so no dilly dallying - know what you want to order! Even if it's a special order they can handle it. It's really loud when it's crowded, so much so that the person taking my order had to just about shout over the volume of noise in the joint! No shortage of variety of bagels and spreads to choose from. The bagel itself could have been a bit crisper, but was nice and chewy inside. Overall a hectic experience if you visit during peak times.

Really tasty bagel. Soft, fluffy and airy. Lots of toppings and fresh ingredients. The bagel seemed a little small but the taste and flavor made up for it. Staff is very friendly

So we pulled off, took out the trusty Yelp app, and this place popped up. Pulling it, it was clear that they were popular and busy. We went in and there was a wait, about 15 minutes. We decided to hang around instead of worrying about "making good time" and are glad we did. Once we got a seat, we received great service. Our server always kept our drink full, and checked on us just enough. We never felt like we were searching for her. Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices were not unreasonable, even though it's a very trendy place. in fact, they had a $10ish lunch menu available with a few selections that even included a drink. I was more in a lunch mood so I went that direction, and got a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time even with a full restaurant, so this is a well oiled machine. For the price, I was pretty impressed. I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

The hotel property is charming and thoughtfully designed, with a mix of tables, sofas, and comfortable chairs that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We arrived 3/4 past noon and chose to sit in the study/library area rather than the main dining room. I would strongly recommend this option. The study is quiet and comfortable, while the main restaurant area was noticeably louder. The proximity allows you to enjoy the ambiance without the noise. The menu offerings felt fairly typical for this style of restaurant. We tried the skillet cornbread. It was served room temperature and on the dry side. However, the whipped butter that accompanied it was excellent. Unfortunately, the cornbread was not warm enough to melt it, which would have improved the experience. The Italian wedding soup was very good and served properly hot. We also ordered the local lettuces salad with chicken. The salad itself was fresh, but the chicken was visibly dry and tasted the same. Interestingly, placing the chicken into the soup made it more enjoyable. The double cheeseburger was average. The bun struggled to hold together under the two patties and cheese. The flavor was acceptable but not memorable. Our server was exceptional. Attentive, professional, and gracious throughout the meal. The service elevated the the mediocre experience. Overall, Peck & Plume offers a beautiful setting and excellent service. For a quieter meal, request the study/library seating. While the food was satisfactory, it did not quite match the charm of the surroundings. Would we go again? Maybe. If we did, we would order different items. But, we would request Brian as the server.

It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.
