If they had one or two more waitresses there this place would be running like a top. With the ones who were there on a Sunday trying to hold down the fort, it was a scramble, pun intended! Seriously they were all every which way with the amount of customers at tables and a continual line of more waiting to get one. Those girls were all running their legs off, even still it was hard to get our waitress's attention to get silverware and even coffee and cream refills. Our food was excellent and everything was perfectly cooked. Management, don't run these girls ragged or you're liable to lose them. While you're at it, be reasonable with the AC. It was only 62° out and absolutely freezing inside! read more

It's Waffle House, nuff said I guess not given the character requirement, alas I shall write some more. Food is great, location is clean, staff is friendly and efficient, prices are as always incredibly fair and portions are large. read more

If you're coming to Waffle House, you're not coming for quality. You're looking for that fast, greasy breakfast plate, and this location delivered. According to my BIL, this is a new location. Despite it being new, it still has the same amount of grease and grime as any other WF location. My go-to is always some variation of the hash brown bowl and this time, I ordered the philly cheesesteak one. I was only able to eat half before feeling greasy, so the hash brown bowls would be a good dish to share with someone. All in all, I was happy with this Waffle House experience! read more

I really enjoyed going to this Waffle House location. When we entered, we were seated quickly and the waitress was very nice. The restaurant looked like a classic diner and you could see into the kitchen and watch the cooks make the food, which was pretty cool. We ordered their all star specials which consisted of bacon, a waffle, eggs, and toast/jam and they tasted delicious. The portions were also pretty big so you probably will have some stuff to take home. What I also loved about this place is that you get a bunch of quality food for a great price! Whether you're hungover or just trying to get a good breakfast with friends or the fam, I would definitely recommend this place! read more

For this kind of quick establishment, it was great. They cooked my food as requested and the cook even showed me how to use stainless steel to not burn eggs! read more

Food good, service terrible. Multiple servers (more than 3) saw us waiting for a table to be cleaned so we could sit. No one bothered until I asked for a cloth to clean the tables we could sit. Then we got excuses as it's someone else's responsibility while they were busy talking among themselves. If you don't want to work in a restaurant then don't! read more

I went here for breakfast and it was dirty AF. I was waiting for my take out order and so I tried to grab some packets of syrup to go and the whole box was covered in stick ass syrup! No one cleans the place and it was just sad. The food was ok but I was grossed out that the condiments were dirty and disgusting. Good luck with that! read more

It is truly a waffle home - the service was stellar, even when they were only doing to - go food. that being said, i did not expect any ambiance, and what i received was what i could typically expect with this chain. the staff helped me order and were nothing but friendly. read more

The only staff that was helpful was the Manager that was on site. As she was a working manager. Now for the rude waitress we had. She did not come check on us. She did not make sure we had refills. My food came out last after we had waited almost 40 minutes and my food was cold. Definitely not one that I would return to you in the next time that I'm in Apex, don't waste your time with the staff as they would rather sit on their phones instead of the customers. read more

Don't sleep on Waffle House! My family just had a delicious breakfast! It was on par with restaurants twice the price. Service was super quick. We were in and out in 30 minutes. We enjoyed waffles, hashbrowns, sausage and bacon. All of it was delicious with that greasy diner taste, but in a good way. They even had Simply Apple Juice and Simply Orange Juice, which is some of the best. My husband also loved his coffee so much he got one to go. Not only was the food amazing, the service was welcoming and we felt like family, even though it was only our first time there. Suzette greeted us and was so friendly. Our waitress Patrice took care of us and did a great job. I will definitely be back and will hopefully get the same tasty food and see smiling faces yet again. Had a quick late lunch here with the patty melt plate. I had them make the patty melt on wheat like they used to be before they started using the texas toast - it was great. They did forget the pickles, but not a huge problem. Great service, quick preparation, and the flavor was on point. Waffle House comes through once again! read more

We have ordered online, and both times items have been missing.. Today we ordered 2 of the All star specials, which are supposed to include a waffle -- and received zero waffles for them I ordered orange juice and that was also missing. Tonight the food was cold - not cooled off a bit, but sitting around in an unheated tray waiting to be shoveled into a bag-type cold. Another headache is that they tie the bags tightly, so you cannot even open them to verify contents before you leave. And last, you cannot even call to ask for a refund or raincheck on the missing items. I cannot write this off to being a cheap tipper, because we tipped 20%. This entire experience tonight was the last straw. I am putting negative reviews like this everywhere I can and never going there again. I recommend you avoid this place like COVID 19. read more

I love Waffle House with a passion I am so addicted to the food my first time at this location and I will never go to this one again,I was the only one in there so how do you mess up my order. The guy cooking overcooked my scramble eggs and they were extremely tasteless,I have had some good tasty scramble eggs at other Waffle Houses The Grits at this location is too runny and starchy tasting with no texture,I have had thicker Grits at other Waffle Houses One positive thing is she made my Pecan Waffle perfect but she did not put butter containers in my bag,I drove off to the grocery store and ate in my car in the parking lot before going shopping with no butter for my 2 waffles,I was too far to go back.I went to reach in and grab some syrup containers that they have near the window and they were all extra sticky like several had spilled on top of each other, going back to the other Waffle Houses that make your food right and never forget to give you butter read more

As you enter the place clean and spiritually light. I checked their kitchen floor and I was surprised, it was clean. The tables are spotless. No shadow of the wipes. Q, the Manger led us to our table and introduced Malaysia our server with his exciting happy uppity voice. Q. was so respectful as well as very pleasant. I was watching all the people working, they were all in sync that's the reason why the orders came fast even though they were busy. I was very surprised with Q. I saw him sweeping the floor. Then he went to the counter and cleaned the tables and refilled table napkins. And on a Blink of an eye Q. was cooking. OMG. Thus guy is an all around guy that doesn't care what the job is and is not afraid to do dirty jobs. Excellent MANAGER. Never seen a manager like Q. Most if the manager's I have encountered are bossy to their staff and very condescending to their staff. Very respectful and friendly. I give this guy a 101%. Malaysia, our server was so friendly. Her patience while waiting for my order is phenomenal. I didn't feel rushed. She helped me navigate my order by asking what I want and came up with the order. She was diligent in refilling our drinks and come back to check If we need anything like butter etc. Her smile just makes me smile too. Guess being around happy people are contagious. I'm very picky when I eat out. First thing I check is cleanliness and does my server get my order right the first time. Compare this to a McDonald's, breakfast, just add few extra bucks and you get a whole lot more freshly cooked double the food that will keep you full for a while. Definitely, this will be my GoTo Breakfast Place. I just came back from the Philippines and I gave a 1 Star to High End Restaurant called Vikings. The food was awful. And terribly expensive. Well for the Q. and staff keep it up. ++++++ read more

Just moved to Holly Springs & ordered takeout online from this Waffle House. My order was ready when I arrived and Janine greeted me when I walked in the door. She made sure I had everything I needed before I left and was truly the most kind person I've met. Both of our orders came just as we ordered them and was exactly what we needed after a long move! I will 100% be back to this location because of her incredible hospitality. read more

I usually take 55 whenever I'm ambling through Apex to get to Fuquay, where I spend a great deal of my free time hanging out. I know how that sounds. Whatever. Stopping at this Waffle House will sometimes make you want to take a run to the ABC Store next door too, just to get the hard time off your mind. But, it's mostly an easy outing. Parking is easy and the servers are cool. But this is a bland establishment, no "buts" about it. There's absolutely nothing about the food that sets itself apart from anything I can cook at home. This joint gets by on its convenience and our collective laziness. What sometimes drives me to drink is the occasional slowness of the service. And that's entirely dependent on the person you get serving you that day. This one time, I had a woman taking care of me who was about as slow in doing everything as a one-legged sloth coated in slippery grease trying to walk uphill during a landslide. read more

I went to this Waffle house 6/22/13 at 10:30am and the restaurant was filthy!! I took a few pictures to show how disgustingly dirty this location was, I won't ever go back there! I am sending these to our local health department! Food all over the counters, the pan on the stove disgustingly dirty that they were reusing, hashbrowns all over the counters and down in between the stove and prep line, waffle mix all over the place and dried mix running down everything all around the waffle irons, had to ask for water refill twice, and ask for coffee, my grits didn't come out with my food and they over charged us and had to wait while they fixed it. It was an unpleasant experience! Kim G. read more

Ok. I normally wouldn't review a restaurant like Waffle House but I have to say I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and how attentive they were the entire visit. Not only were we greeted with several hellos at the door but we were readily offered a seat on a very busy Saturday morning. At least five different people took care of us. We ordered the steak and eggs. They made egg whites for Mike and the steak was tender. Very good customer service if you want a fun spot for breakfast, great prices and I actually had a gluten free meal without eating the toast. Restaurant was clean and seats were comfy. Overall, friendly atmosphere and good breakfast for the money. read more

I absolutely love Waffle House, like I defend it to my core. But I recently went there around midnight. And waited 20 minutes for some service. Which I understand cause there's more customers than employees. When our server took our order (food and DRINK) he seemed funny. Kinda scolding us for not ordering anything. But we never got our drinks, and when we asked for them he told us to work with him. Which made me lol. Like I understand being short staffed is ass. But then these mf's charged my card 3 times what the total was. Despite me leaving a 20%. I gave empathy, and hope to Robert, he spit it right back in my face. My advice, drive the extra 15 minutes to the Cary location :( read more

Hate to give a negative review but went here with a total of three other parties in the whole restaurant and sat for 20 minutes and no one came to even take our drink order.
