Chimi Steak Scrambler

Eggs Up is still one of my favorite breakfast places and we always hit it at least once when we visit here. This time was no exception. I had perfectly poached eggs, bacon and delicious sourdough toast. I love how you can sub fruit for potatoes and it's great, not just a little bowl of melon and grapes. My husband tried the chimichurri steak and eggs special and he loved it too. I'd love to come back and try the breakfast burger, it looks amazing. Service is great and it's a super friendly place for everyone.

Im always greeted like family when I come here! From greeting, to being seated, to being served, throughout the duration of my meal and thereafter, im always looked after and attended to thoroughly for whatever I might need to make my visit that much more unforgettable! I always try something different every visit and have not gone wrong on choices thus far! On this visit, I got the corned beef Benedict accompanied by home fries & strawberry oj mimosas! The ambiance of the restaurant is always clean and neat! It can get pretty chilly in here no matter the time of the year, so ensure that you bring a light jacket to help you enjoy your experience!

Lots of menu choices logically laid out. The corned beef was one of the best I've ever eaten. I recommend saving some to throw into the grits (if you like grits). Emily was friendly and attentive.

We went for a family birthday brunch (mine!). The restaurant is clean and inviting. We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. All the food was delicious! I ordered a mimosa flight, not realizing it was 4 full sized drinks!! For 5 adults and 1 child, just under 100. Great prices, and they were not stingy with the food. A definite place to go back to!

We had a great breakfast/brunch this morning. We arrived and had to wait about ten minutes which wasn't bad and expected anyways. My Dad had a birhbday coupon and enjoyed his red white and blue waffle with a side of sausage. They came out with a candle and sang to him. I missed it as I was in the ladies room. Totally bummed but oh well. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich of a BLT and the raspberry salad. Great deal for $10. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. We always come here when we are in town from NJ. Wished they were open later.

We checked out Eggs Up Grill for brunch. Super cute diner style restaurant. Our party of 5 was able to be sat right away even though it was a pretty busy Sunday morning. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The mimosas we ordered were ok. I ordered the egg bomb blt. It was yummy! A little disappointed in the French vanilla cappuccino- it was delicious, but after a few sips, it was very obviously a powered mix.

If desire friendly service with great food, you want to visit Eggs Up Grill. I have enjoyed the entire staff. Today was my first carry out order but still the food was just as amazing as if I ordered it from the booth. Item ordered: Texican Bowl Oh my tummy says yummy each time.

First time here, found it a while ago and booked marked it. Decided to try it today since we were in the area. It's a pretty nice set up and ambiance is cool, it's more of a modern looking diner. It's clean and family oriented, pretty unpretentious. Our waitress was sweet and helpful, had no complaints. Food wise, if you're expecting the quality of First Watch, this isn't it. The prices are very reasonable however the quality isn't quite there. This is above a Denny's or IHOP however if you're desiring a healthy take on breakfast this may not fill your need. Had the shrimp and grits bowl which was very filling, we also had the waffles with eggs and bacon. The quality could improve along with getting real Maple Syrup on the tables... Would only come back if I didn't have a choice. Hopefully it improves in the future

Food was great, so was the ambience. I would not give 10/10 for the service because one of the items of my order came very late - and only after the waiter realized after 10-15 mins that she actually forgot what that was. Overall a satisfactory & relaxing experience!

I was hesitant ordering the crepe because of that but luckily the crepe ended up being massive. That definitely made up for the price. The savory egg sausage crepe was by far my favorite. My wife very much liked the sweet chocolate crepe. Other than the Crepes I was disappointed with how much the sides and coffee cost for what we got. Also the staff seemed very rushed and aggressive for a tip. That is the main thing stopping this from a five star. If I were to go back it would definitely be for the Crepe!

Okay this is my new favorite crepe place. Plus it's a locally owned restaurant! The crepes are incredible and make quickly. Perfect texture and flavor. The ingredients are cooked appropriately and the crepes are large. Plus they are presented well and are gluten-free. I chose the Le Champignon crepe with English breakfast tea my first visit and the same crepe with Earl Grey Tea my second visit. It's so good I haven't been able to choose a different crepe haha. Even the tea was presented well and steeped perfectly. So many places are serving hot tea in disposable cups even when dining in. It was such a joy and relief to enjoy the tea in a nice cup and saucer with the pot close by. The cafe is empty around 8 am and picks up around 8:30 am. They play low jazz or pop music and have ample tables that seat 2 or 4 customers. The wi-fi information is posted near the condiments, water dispenser, and trash. It took about 10 minutes for an employee to realize I was there. She was friendly and efficient. I believe she is the only one working (during both visits) so some indication that customers are ready to order would be useful to save time. She interacts well with customers and takes orders and makes the food. Overall, I had a great visit and recommend this cafe to others!

The toasted sourdough was a nice touch for sopping up bites. The fried okra was a standout--lightly battered, bright green inside, and not soggy (a minor miracle) The chicken tenders had a peppery cornmeal breading that stayed crunchy and paired well with the dipping sauce. But the most nostalgic part was the warm biscuit split open with peach jelly--sweet, sunny, and the perfect finish! It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.

Food, service, and ambience are all 10/10!…read more I did a shared plate afternoon adventure with my friend. We got the scones (I would recommend the honey and chive butter, she preferred the sweet cinnamon sugar). We also split the French onion Mac and cheese. I love that they use cavatappi (sp? - corkscrews) so the sauce is in and around every noodle. The crisp onions on top provided a perfect crunch! We also split the crab and avocado sandwich with house salad. The house salad dressing was amazing as was the crab and avocado. It was so good I asked for a catering menu for my next event. The décor is absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent. We visited during Christmastime and truly loved the festive decorations. Our drinks were perfect and well-crafted. For dinner, we shared the chowder, which unfortunately was underwhelming--the croutons were the best part. We then ordered the chicken, salmon, and mashed potatoes. The salmon was dry, the chicken was on the bone with very little meat, and the mashed potatoes were surprisingly disappointing. I even took them home hoping I could improve them myself. I will likely return to the Tea Room because I enjoy supporting local businesses and genuinely like their drinks and small bites, but I would not come back for dinner.
