Classic Reuben ordered and delivered October 6 via Door Dash. 1. 'Classic' means it is Grilled. No grilling. Don't offer classic if it is not at all classic. 2. The Sauce is vital to the combination of flavors. If there was any dressing, I couldn't taste it. The sandwich was large, so the proportion of 'dressing,' was way out of whack, if even present. 3. When ordering there is no way to enter a request or comment. In that light, should you order this, have them put the dressing on the side. 4. If you are in restaurant, remind them to Grill the sandwich and to be generous with the dressing. I made the dressing for the second half of the sandwich. I don't mind paying the price, however, at least provide what you know is proper service and cuisine. read more

The server Brianna was very courteous and friendly. I truly appreciated her customer service and smile

It was fine if you want a sports bar with a lot of tvs. My burger was done well and the tater tots were standard. My son ordered a hot chicken sandwich with fries, and the sandwich was good but the fries tasted like 'dirty water.' Fortunately, they allowed him to swap out the fries for tater tots. My daughter ordered chicken fingers and some were burnt. Our server was really pleasant and we appreciated her hospitality. All of the tvs had the games labeled and it wasn't too loud inside so you could enjoy conversation at your table. I don't think we would ever go back for the food because it was a little pricy and average (or below average) quality. Maybe a good place to grab a soda and watch the games though. read more

Andi was amazing and so attentive!! She was wonderful to my family and I who were here celebrating a birthday. The food was great as well!

The winge were awesome and we had phenomenal service with our server Andrew. we will definitely be back soon.

This is your typical sports bar venue. Lots of screens with various sports. Subdued lighting to support tv viewing. A warm welcome and seating by the hostess. Our server immediately engaged and received our beverage order. She was both helpful and very pleasant. The menu had reasonable choice for a sports bar. My wife picked the Cobb salad, I opted to ask for the ribeye and broccoli as my side. The Cobb salad was well put together and covered every item expected, to include chicken strips. I was immediately disappointed with my plate. The broccoli was in a cup on the plate with a minuscule amount. The steak was thin for the $28 price. The steak was medium, not rare as expected. It was barely warm to eat. The server immediately exchanged it for the Cobb salad I requested. The manager did come by and apologized. He appreciated my candid feedback and was very gracious. This was rated over 4 stars in Yelp (how I always find restaurants to try). I rate it slightly lower on the food only. This is more of a salad/sandwich/burger place to eat in a pinch. I would recommended it for drinks or the sports bar vibe expectation. read more

Zoai is an amazing server. I'll come back just because of her! The food was really great as well.

We love the Hickory Tavern. Today we were a party of four and we had a wonderful server named Zoe. She was really attentive and had a super attitude. You know she likes her job and she was great with my 85 year old mom. The food was as good as usual too. We had a couple different burgers, chicken tenders and a Buffalo wrap. The pretzel appetizer is big enough for two whole meals ( we always order this) and the fried pickles are always yummy. Service was quick and my water glass stayed full. Next time, if we remember we will ask to sit in Zoe's section. She was that good! read more
