Half full of fries.
Ryan L.

This location has nice staff and decent parking. But the food is not good at all. Cold, old and always short. Today was the final straw and I am tired of paying for large fries to not even get small fries.

This location is blah. I never really feel that "their pleasure" is sincere. Lol. The food is barely ever piping hot. The nuggets & strips are rarely ever fresh. YET, I go back. Smh. Trust me, it's only because we love my son. He loves CFA. The parking lot is small. The drive thru is slow. It is located in a busy shopping center near Target, Harris Teeter, & other restaurants. I won't tell you not to visit. I will simply tell you to check your food BEFORE driving away & make them give you fresh food if you have the bad luck I seem to have here. I love CFA. This one just needs work.

This has to be the absolute slowest chick fila in the 919. I swear they never fail to win the slowest award. If I come to this location I have to be prepared to put my vehicle in park no matter what time of the day it is. Smh!!!!!!

Ordered a "large fry"
Rebecca P.

This Chick-fil-A does some very odd things that don't make sense at times. We ordered a large fry and this is what they gave us. A small fry in a small box and then placed it in a large box. How is this common sense. Also, one time I ordered salad with ranch dressing and they gave me ranch dipping sauce instead. Which was extremely inconvenient and gross. I know this location gets busy but please think about the meals you are serving to your customers.

Medium fry

Is this really considered a medium fry? Not sure if it's a supply chain issue or just my area but the serving size seems less than usual and the meals are more expensive than ever

This is probably my favorite Chick-fil-A. Very nice and clean setup, super friendly people, and a relatively convenient parking lot. Not sure what I can add about the food - everybody knows it and it is good, especially for fast food. I personally find it too salty, but that doesn't mean I ever say no to Chick-fil-A. :-)

They were in the process of training a new hire at the time, so the line took some time to move through, but I still got my food pretty quickly. I ordered the harvest crunch vegetable which had all of my favorites - the mushrooms were so flavorful and my favorite part. The only two critiques I had was that 1) I asked for half/half rice and romaine and my bowl had way too much romaine, it really overpowered all of the other ingredients that came in the bowl and 2) the tofu was not my favorite - it wasn't crispy or as flavorful as I would like it, so that's something for the plant-based community to keep in mind. That said, I imagine all of the other animal-based proteins taste better! If their tofu was improved, I would absolutely return to try some of their other unique bowl combos.

I got a wheat wrap with some steak, spinach, and mushrooms, while my wife got a mixed grain bowl with chicken and bacon. We were both very happy with our meals, and while the food wasn't cheap (about $15 a person), I didn't feel ripped off either. The website mentioned that the ingredients were high quality and that the dressings were made in house, and it definitely tasted like it! Overall, I'd definitely come back here to get a healthy meal.

In fact, we find them generous and a hearty meal, including a post-workout meal on a Sunday afternoon. I asked the cashier at the front about it and she told me that there are lids under the drink station. I guess she was too busy to get them for me and tried to make me do it? I couldn't find them so I gave up. She did eventually come out and replace the lids though but never told me that she did it. They also ran out of broccoli and had to drop some more but never told us how long it was going to take. So I was waiting for 5-10 minutes for my girlfriend's food to be ready as my food got cold. Wouldn't have been as bad but they never told us how long the wait would be and we were both getting hungry. There were also a good amount of flies in the restaurant. We tried to sit outside but there were a lot of flies there too. Instead we walked to the brewery where the flies seemed to leave us alone. My food was seasoned well enough and had a good flavor but it didn't really taste that fresh. Not sure if it was from the wait but I'm sure it didn't help. It seemed like the ingredients may have been sitting out a while. I don't think I'll be back which is unfortunate because I was excited to find a healthier fast food restaurant.

The croissant sandwich was yummy but wish it had a little more bread, buttt we know some heavily prefer more filling to bread. The side salad was fresh and light and complemented the sandwich well. A little pricey in general but not out of the regular range of a smaller cafe, and the food you get is decent size and I was definitely satisfied at the end. Nice atmosphere and ambiance with flowers and giant teddy bears decorating the inside. I did wish the wooden benches and chairs had some cushion since it seemed like a lot of customers were doing work here. The parking is a bit annoying since it is right off the road and sometimes hard to exit.

Service is very friendly, and as quick as possible, considering that stuff seems to be made to order. I ordered a chicken kebab platter which comes over a bed of basmati rice, possibly with saffron. Whatever the rice tasted great and it wasn't dry like at a lot of places. The chicken was marinated in a tangy yogurt-spice mix, grilled and topped with a tahini sauce. Delicious! "Bodega-like Mediterranean Grill & Grocery in Parkwood area of Durham"…read more This place is WAY off the beaten path for most, but I'm so happy to have gotten to try it out. Nestled in a little strip between a Muslim school and a mosque is this grill and grocery. We came on a Wednesday evening, and almost every table was already taken by diners. You order your food at a counter, and it has the Middle Eastern foods you'd expect-- kofta, shawarma, gyros, falafel, baba ghanouj, hummus, baklava, etc. I opted for the lamb gyro sandwich with a side of baba ghanouj, and my dining partner had the falafel sandwich. They call your number when it's ready. Food took maybe 10 minutes to receive, so we browsed the market area. It's not a huge selection, but very traditional-- nice seeing so many labels in Arabic, and along with standards (e.g., canned fava beans for Ful Medames), they also had things like frozen chopped mulukhiyah leaves-- that's definitely a rarer sight. Lots of good spices too. The food was EXCELLENT. The lamb was juicy and perfect (unlike what another Yelp review said), the tzatziki sauce was delicious, and the baba ghanouj was perfectly cooked and textured. I had a small bite of the falafel, and it was indeed one of the best I've had in the US. Price was fair, too-- the sandwiches are all under $10 before tax and tip, and making it a combo with side and drink cost just something like $2.50. And service was friendly-- although they called out numbers, they did walk out with the food to try to find and bring you your dishes. And while it was an older space, it was overall still generally clean. Overall, I'd VERY happily come back.
