My father took me to Panera Bread for our final meal before I head back home to Indy. Panera Bread has always held a special place in my heart, because it was one of my late mother's favorite places to eat for lunch or dinner when I came to visit for the holidays. The food is always fresh every time we order it and the service is wonderful as well. The ambiance is nice and upscale, with a nice decor to it , and makes you feel like you are right at home. My Dad and I each ordered the pick 2 combo. I ordered cup of creamy tomato soup and half of the grilled chicken and avocado BLT sandwich with an apple and a passion papaya green iced tea. My Dad ordered the cup of chicken and wild rice soup and half of the harvest chicken medley salad with a side of chips. He loved it very much and I loved my dinner as well. The creamy tomato soup is my personal favorite. It is always a winner for me. My mother loved the creamy tomato soup as well, and enjoyed the coffee. I always think of my mother when I come to Panera Bread. It bring back good memories. She lost her battle with ovarian cancer over seven years ago, but still think about her every day. Honestly, I'm a little mystified at the rating here. My family ate here tonight and it was really good! We ordered our food on-site using the tablet and it was prepared quickly. Everything on the sandwiches tasted fresh - it was honestly one of my best Panera experiences. As a caveat, they did forget to add the arugula to my sandwich, which would normally annoy me, but I didn't even care because it was very tasty. I would definitely come back here! read more

They consistently miss the orders. 1/4th of my pick up orders don't have what I ordered. Half the time it is they are out of stock and other half they forgot. It's ridiculous. And then when I call them they say we can give you the missing bagel if you come back and that takes another half an hour time. At this point if they make it like a grocery store for people to go pick up the bakery order - it might not be a bad thing. read more

We stop here occasionally hoping that things have improved, but we are always disappointed. The sandwiches are inconsistent; sometimes the ciabatta breakfast sandwich is too small, other times it is larger. The mask wearing woman behind the counter is less than ideal; she's abrupt, has a negative attitude, and dismissive. Most people do not want to be greeted by someone wearing a mask. Is she ill? Go home. Is she afraid? If so, why is she working where she has to interact with others. It is ridiculous. The restaurant was fairly clean, but also fairly empty. read more

3.5 Stars I've always enjoyed dining at Panera Bread. It's been over a year since I have eaten at Panera Bread, so I wanted to try the flatbread pizzas. We received good customer service and got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I thought the flatbreads were pretty good and my niece thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich she ordered. Come on now, Panera.... This location could use some serious quality control in the kitchen.. I ordered take out and when I got home found my "Smokey Buffalo chicken toasted baguette" to simply be bread nearly devoid of chicken or other toppings. This is not the first time I have had poorly prepared food at this location. I always check my orders before leaving when getting take out to make sure everything is there. I guess I'll have to start checking to make sure they include the filling in the sandwich next time. Edit: After this review and filling out a survey from Panera, they reached out, were apologetic, and refunded my meal. That is very good customer service. Sigh...this location is way better than the other one on Miami Blvd. However, they can stand to improve as well. We order the value duet with a half a tuna sandwich and soup. As well we got a bowl of corn chowder and chicken noodle soup. We spent about $20 for all. The ten vegetables soup was good as normal. Nothing to really update there. The tuna sandwich looked more to be a quarter instead of a half *side eye* The corn chowder and chicken noodle soup - they should have stated broth not soup. This was thin and somewhat watery. The flavor was good but the texture - no sir/ma'am! Or was this the bottom of the pot 'leftovers' *questions, I have questions* Anyways, the staff was friendly and the ordering via the app was easy. Drove through here one morning to grab a bagel before heading to the office. I was working out of town so this was right next to my hotel that I was staying at. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a sesame bagel. It was great and hot. Just went through the drive thru to place an order that I have placed plenty of times through the ordering kiosk and they made it exactly how I wanted it. But when I tried to place it through the drive thru, the lady on the other end didn't understand what I was saying so she was like no ma'am we don't do that, so I told her it's fine I'll come inside and place it (inconvenience #1), then I went inside to place it exactly how I did multiple times before and waited for it and after I took it and drove away, when I opened it, it was NOT what I ordered, they didn't make any of customisation that I clearly requested on my order, just made it as listed on the menu. So, I believe they messed up my order to prove a point. If I ever go back to that store, I'll make sure to check my order before leaving, and that's my advice to you too. read more

This location is fairly big compared to some of the others. Its located in a brand new business complex in Cary. If you love their food, you already know what to expect. This location does a great job holding up the Panera standard. The service is always award winning and the staff is always helpful. I personally love the sandwich and soup combos. Be careful to not eat with your eyes here because you can rack up a pretty bill. read more

When I ordered a strawberry smoothie, there were white tray pieces in there! The food is great but don't ever get the smoothie!

Decently clean place. Food was ok. Unfortunately we did not have a positive service experience here. The person at the counter rang up the wrong order missing an item that a member of our party had ordered and heard confirmation verbal for when they ordered. They went to inquire about it, then the manager started tensely yelling when they asked about it, saying they didn't pay for it, when all they did was politely ask and not demand anything. They would have gladly paid for what they thought they were ordering. I know that service work can be hard with actual rude customers but that does not mean you should treat all customers as such at the slightest inquiry. It's hard to find something new to say about a Panera. It's a chain and everything that could possibly be written about it already has. For me, this is the first location I've been to with a drive-thru. Admittedly, I don't go to Panera a lot, so perhaps that's why I've never noticed one before. At first I thought it would be a little too ewwww, but this Panera has done well with it. The drive thru area is not visible from the ordering counter or the dining area. I didn't hear any of the standard beeping or garbled orders. The counter is smaller that most locations, the kitchen and pickup area are separated visibly from the counter, and the dining area has the modern-feel that older Paneras are trying to emulate with their remodeling. Although it was too warm to eat outside, for me or anyone else, the outside seating is nice -- on a relatively shady side of the building -- and there's a lot of seating available. The front of the store has a few single tables under the awing. Other than the drive through and outdoor seating, Panera does what it does the same here as anywhere else. For that reason, just like for every other location, a person will either love it or hate it. read more

Now I know why this location has cars in the parking lot whatever time I drive by! It's a really nice, new, and and a larger place than most others! Stopped in today for a take out and did a quick glance in the dining area. Much different than any others I've been to. Roomy is the word! I like that the order area is very separated from the dining area. If you don't want to wait in the order line they have i pads on the wall opposite the coffee urns to order and pay by credit card. Then go find a table and wait for your order to be called. I did the regular line and quickly found out it was a little slow to order as new people were being trained, but otherwise same product I've come to know and enjoy at their other locations. read more

I ordered curbside, through the app. Unfortunately the customization did not go through correctly so I called to see if I could get the correct breakfast sandwich. The person said that I can get the correct sandwich but would have to pay for it since they do not accept returns/exchanges on food. I ended up trying the incorrect food--it felt like it had sat out and was moist (disgustingly so) and so it was thrown out. The other sandwich's bread was burnt and hard and the egg was very small so it felt like it got lost in the bread. I have had Panera breakfast sandwiches before and they used to be delicious! So I am not sure if it is a change in quality overall or this particular restaurant. I was not happy with the service (if you get incorrect food, shouldn't it be replaced?) and the quality of the food was bad. The one positive was that the service was fast. read more

I want to like Panera, but this location is so inconsistent. They mess up the order about half of the time. We went there today and ordered take out. The receipt was correct, but they gave us wrong sandwich, and my wife's salad was terrible. She had to throw out half of it due to bad slimy old lettuce. How hard is to make a cold sandwich, five ingredients on average. This is poor management, get your game together. read more

It's a bit perplexing to me the vast differences between this store and other Panera franchises. They should maybe re educate this facility on the proper practices and procedures. This place is damn good. After staying for an hour or so I fall in love with it for its decent atmosphere and food. It provides free drinks all day long to keep you stay too. As a teacher in the area, a Panera Bread nearby is a definite plus. The quality of the food is similar to most Panera's I've attended, which is both reliable and tasty. This particular store is in a very busy location, yet the staff manages to tame the madness of lunch hour quite impressively. I have found that most of the staff at this location are kind and helpful, except there have been a few circumstances in which the cashier seems "less than happy" to be there. Either way, I trust this Panera Bread location while ordering in store, in the drive-thru, and with delivery! read more

I think it's time I update my review. I've been getting great service consistently. All of the employees are courteous and you always feel welcome when you visit. One thing to improve on is that sometimes, their tables can be a bit sticky due to food residue. That's kind of expected since get a lot of kids but I still think they can do a better job of cleaning up the mess. To be fair, parents should bare some of the burden. My parents always taught me by example to clean up after yourself. read more
