Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Hands down the best vegetarian ramen in the area!! I have been looking far in wide in the triangle area for vegetarian ramen especially with all the winter weather that keeps hitting us. I have finally found THE one. Noodle Boulevard is an unassuming place that's hard to find but you will be glad you did. There is plenty of parking and even though the inside looks small, they have fit many seats there. The menu had a vast array of appetizers, rice bowels and ramen. I got the vegetarian spring rolls and the Tofu Curry Ramen with udon noodles. The service is FAST. We were in and out within an hour. The spring rolls were fresh, you could tell they didn't use the frozen packs that many restaurants have. The Tofu Curry Ramen was packed with flavor. I got medium spice level and found it spicy, so watch out. But either way, I couldn't stop eating because it was savory, peppery and perfect richness. Several of my friends had recommended this place to me and I just got around to trying it. Let me tell you it was completely worth the wait. The Ramen is so customizable and they have great vegetarian and gluten-free options. I've traveled to Japan and had some amazing Ramen all over the world and I thought this Ramen was great. The broth was so flavorful and their spice level was perfect. My tiniest critique is that the pork in mine was 90% fat and 10% actual meat. The portion sizes are pretty large. Even on a weeknight the restaurant is pretty busy so if you're coming with a larger party of 4 to 6 people I would expect to wait. I will say I will not be returning, it doesn't seem to be authentic with celery in it. although I'm sure the local people enjoy it, they probably don't go out much. My short rib was tender but flavorless. Also when asked to replace the with black garlic the server said it would be an additional 17 dollars for the already 20$ bowl. Later to circle around and tell another mate at our table that he could just add black garlic for no charge since it's an oil. So I'm not sure how that was a question that was confusing. Absolutely love Noodle Boulevard~ stumbled on this place by review searching a few years ago and it never disappoints. The older Asian lady who seems like an owner/manager is ever so kind, she's so warm and efficient. If you come here and think "wow, it's packed", just remember, they clear people out quite well, without the feel of rushing you. We are never deterred by how packed it is. The parking situation though is a bit cramped but you can always park down the hill by the other establishment. The fried enoki mushrooms are one of my favorite along with the Tonkatsu. What I also love about this place is they are very flexible on adding toppings. Location is great, its by lots of nearby shopping which makes for a great lunch break while youre in Cary. Overall, Noodle boulevard is always solid win. Actually except for the fact they are closed on Mondays (boo hoo), oh and also be mindful that they close during the day from 2PM - 5PM. Very important. My friend is a huge fan of their vegetable ramen with the tom yum broth. For myself, I get the chicken curry ramen and add enoki mushrooms and corn. Please try this- you will not regret it. The broth is literally exploding with flavor and it was enough food to give me ramen for lunch the next day too. I will always be in the mood for this dish. For appetizers, we've tried the chicken yakitori, chicken karaage, shrimp shumai, croquettes, and spring rolls. I have no idea how they make those croquettes but I could probably eat 10 of them. This is my favorite ramen spot! And it's evident because I drive 30 mins to get here. The ramen is always hot, fresh and delicious. The service is always great, I don't like that they no longer have the paper menus, I'm cool that it's online but tell me everything that comes in the bowl online. I shave to ask the server which I feel is stressful for them and me. It's a very small place and there is always a line; with that being said I think there needs to be some kind of policy on how your on the list. This is my friends FAVORITE place to get pho/ramen. So much so that when we sat down the waiter and owner knew exactly who she was. This place is cozy the only thing I would say is that parking can be a bit of a task at times. Other than that this is a dope spot. My friend ordered the Spicy Seafood Kimchi Ramen(level 5) and I asked the waiter to surprise me and I ended up with the Hangover Seafood ramen(level 2). As ramen enthusiasts (thanks to my wife), we've tried a lot of ramen, but the dishes at Noodle Boulevard may have outdone them all. Our first attempt to dine here was thwarted by a line out the door--it was freezing, and with a little one in tow, we decided to come back the next day. When we returned, it was just as busy, and the only hiccup was that they wouldn't seat our party until everyone had arrived. For a Ramen place the ambience inside was nice and it was a rather large restaurant. I will say that our server was a bit slow and because they were so busy she would often forget to check in on us, but with a place as busy, you just have to deal with it. Once we were seated, the experience was worth the wait. The ramen was absolutely fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. While I can't recall all the names of the dishes, each bowl looked--and tasted--amazing. Notably, my wife ordered the beef braised ramen, and it was the standout. The meat was moist, tender, and literally falling off the bone. It's rare to find ramen this good, and if you're a fan of authentic, high-quality ramen, this noodle bar is a must-visit. I came here for dinner based on a recommendation from a coworker and I am so glad I stopped in for dinner with a couple other people! Even though this place is a first come first serve basis, we waited only about 20 minutes for a table for 3. You can choose a spice level of 0-6 with each dish, which I thought was such a neat concept. I ordered the Chicken Curry Ramen Bowl with a spice level of 5, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The spice level added a perfect, silent kick without overpowering the rich flavors of the curry. The chicken was tender and flavorful, all the flavors of the soup just soaked into each piece. The ramen bowl included: fresh greens, a soft boiled egg, crispy wonton strips, crisp bean sprouts, pickled mustard greens and a lime wedge. All the flavors went harmoniously together for the best umami experience. The noodles were also cooked al dente which is exactly how they should be! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and friendly, and the staff were so kind and very attentive.
