    5 Fried Gyoza

I've gone to this place a few times for lunch! It's quick and affordable and the food tastes great! It's always flavorful and you can't beat the lunch prices. I've recently gotten into Ramen so I don't have much to compare it to but it's delicious. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is small inside and quaint but nice.

Love this place! Ordered the fried chicken appetizer. It came with four piping hot, well-seasoned wings. It didn't come with any sauce, but it didn't need any. We ordered the shio ramen and the Kinoko black ramen. Both were flavorful with a rich broth. The chashu they came with was tender. Service was great, and the place was nice and clean. Would highly recommend this place!

They just opened last week, and everything was running smoothly. For lunch today, I chose the Kinoko Black, which was very good! It had smoky undertones, flavorful pork, crisp vegetables, and lots of curly noodles. My friend ordered the Spicy Mala. He likes very spicy food and said that this felt mildly spicy to him, but it was still very good. They'll bring chili oil to the table if you want to raise the spice level. The restaurant was small, clean, and bright, and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices were quite reasonable, especially compared to other ramen places in the area.

The shio chintan ramen was light and delectable. The flavors were subtle. What really stood out was the meat. The chashu is tender and a little smoky, among the best I've had at any ramen restaurant around here. At $13.50 per bowl, it's more affordable than some of the other ramens I've had in the Triangle. It was enough for two meals' worth for me. Ambiance was nice and the server was not very attentive. I like it enough to come back sometime. Also, the takoyaki is a must-try! The fish flakes added subtle flavors to the creaminess inside the takoyaki.

This may be my shortest review yet. This place is inside of a big food court right outside of Raleigh, and they are tossing straight fire out of that kitchen. It was a fusion restaurant but I didn't bother with exploring that side. I decided on a quick picker upper by getting their karaage bun. The karaage was absolutely freaking DELICIOUS. The whole thing was hot, crunchy, full of spice and flavors that all hit you at the same time. This karaage bun was exactly what I wanted and they delivered. Check this place out if you're hanging in the food court, it's worth it!

Bottom line: The Sukiyaki Beef Rice Bowl here was delicious and perfect for what I wanted. The appetizer of fried gyoza was good as well, pretty crunchy as well as tasty. Good service and nice atmosphere. I enjoyed it! The Deets: NOTE: This review is not of their ramen, but of other offerings experienced here. So I was walking over to my favorite neighborhood restaurant and then realized they were closed due to a holiday...DOH!!! However, I did see that Kinoko was open for business these days after a limited closure so I went walking over to try them out. They are now Kinoko Ramen, changing over from sushi format to ramen as their menu offering. I am not a big ramen fan but luckily for me, there are other things to enjoy here. As I walked in, it's the same type of atmosphere and layout inside as before with tables for 1-4 and singular bar-type chairs as well. The appearance is nice and clean, and a nice big wall mural is on the left as you come into the restaurant. I sat down at one of the tables and was greeted positively with a menu with taking my drink order. I started with the appetizer of fried gyoza with homemade sauce and these were pretty good, more of a crunch to them than a pan seared type gyoza. Since I was not looking for ramen, the rice bowls they offer caught my eye. I went with the Sukiyaki Beef Rice Bowl described on the menu as "thinly sliced beef and onion marinated in rich sweet soy-based sauce, garnished with green scallions and sesame seeds" which sounded like it was just what I'd like. I was right. This rice bowl offering was delicious! The vegetable part was cooked perfectly with lots of crunch and flavor, awesome. The beef was also delicious with just enough seasoning to make it interesting but not overdone/saturated with too much seasoning...just right. The rice was perfectly done and textured for eating with chopsticks, which I did with a smile on my face. I had a great meal here at the newly redone Kinoko Ramen and hope to enjoy eating there again in the future.

Third time in 2 weeks! My son and I love coming here! Today, he got the chicken karagge and I got the vegetarian ramen with an egg. The vegetarian broth was lightly rich and the egg was perfectly cooked. The tofu was fried and added delicious texture to the overall soup! Come and try this new place in Morrisville! You will love the wonderful food and great service! Not intrusive at all and prompt. Just FYI: Decor is on minimal side, though I really don't care much a decor. There's 4 TV screens as well, playing various things and not all are family friendly (not R, or MA rated) just not things i would let me 8 year old kid watch.

super cozy place, for family, friends, or just solo! the workers were so friendly and helpful! we ordered takoyaki and karaage for appetizers then each had our own ramen orders. i definitely recommend the kinoko black, the aroma and flavors complimented everything so well! our ordered arrived in a timely manner, within 10-15 minutes of ordering and we had arrived around 6:30p or so and it wasn't too busy yet! i can't wait to try their other menu items next time!

This was my first time at this establishment and it felt like I received the VIP experience! For started I was the only one there at the time, and the staff was very enthusiastic and informative on the menu options. They let me know of the specials and the city wide favorites. First time having Raleigh in the area and it surely did not disappoint, lovely atmosphere!

Best ramen in the area…read more We are from Southern California and we finally found a quality tonkatsu. This pork broth is one of the longer broths to make and you can tell they did it right. Great service, quick and happy to serve! They do not skimp on amount of food either. The price you pay here is great compared to west coast. Lots of thick pork, charred, and lots of noodles and toppings. High quality blended chili oil was also a surprise. We'll be back! I ordered Spicy #2 but I think a great order is to try the tonkatsu regular and the spicy #3, order the side of chili oil! Thanks team! Very good job

The flavors here are rich and comforting, especially when it's cold outside. My go-to orders are the Spicy Tan Tan and the Tonkotsu, both of which are packed with flavor and always hit the spot. The broth is satisfying, the noodles are well-cooked, and it's exactly the kind of meal you crave on a chilly day. This would have been a five-star review for me in the past, but I've knocked it down slightly because the prices have been creeping up. It's starting to feel a bit steep for what used to be an easy, go-to lunch spot, even though the quality is still there. That said, the food itself remains excellent, and I'll absolutely continue coming back, just a little less often for lunch than I used to. Food comes very quickly but very limited seating so keep that in mind if going during peak dining hours. Still a top-tier ramen option in Raleigh.

This week my teen reminded me that a new Ramen place has opened in the same facility so I decided to give it a try. The ambience is cozy, though I found that tables are very close to each other, so it is very hard to keep a conversation going without you either disturbing the other table or worrying about having someone else listen to your conversation menu is fine. I did not care for sushi because I was there for Ramen. Besides, they have a vegetarian Ramen is what I was looking for, my daughter ordered a teriyaki Ramen. My vegetarian Ramen had a lot of tempura in it, which defeated the purpose a little bit for me because it was a little oily. The taste was more or less like a red curry and there was very less vegetables mostly it was sweet corn and one or two bok choy on the other hand my teen, who is very hard to please loved the teriyaki Raman and is already planning to go back this weekend to try the other ones , all in all I gave this place a four star because the umami of the Ramen was very comforting, even though I did not like the taste much

So spirits were high right from the start. For the record, I've been here a handful of times before, usually for lunch, but this was my first dinner visit. Parking was easy and plentiful, and even though the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated right away. Always a nice win. We kicked things off with a bowl of edamame that was perfectly salted. The boys went with miso soup, which was flavorful but came out lava hot. Like, ice-cube-required hot. Tasty, but proceed with caution if you have kids. For sushi, we kept it simple and solid with a mix of one classic and two specialty rolls: Spicy Tuna, Phoenix, and the Crunchy Roll. All were fresh, well-made, and hit the spot. Food came out quickly, service was friendly and attentive, and the overall value felt right. Since we live nearby, this will definitely stay in our regular rotation. A great, easy dinner spot for sushi with family.

Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place is fun and energetic. The music was a bit louder than I prefer, but it didn't take away from how good the food was.
