Overall: Meet Xi An I think will fit the bill if you prefer a cleaner taste. But if you are craving a heavy and strong flavor this might not be the place for you. Food: I think Meet Xi An caters to a specific taste. Meet Xi An isn't just any other Chinese place, the flavors and dishes here are clean, just as if you were making it. What that means is that you are getting cleaner food, which does not compare the same way as food that includes additives and lots of seasoning. Overall I think the food here is solid if you want something cleaner. Service: Ordered to-go, food was packaged well and ready in an appropriate time.

I visited this place on 4/17. The space is nice and cozy, and I ordered my food on a kiosk and it was delivered to my table when it was ready. I had pork buns, pork soup dumplings, and a spicy beef burger. Overall, the food was very tasty. The spicy beef burger wasn't too spicy, and everything I ordered was flavorful.

Very tasty small spot. You order on the screen and they bring things out to you as they are ready. We had the pork soup dumplings, potato burger, cumin beef fried noodles, spicy cabbage noodles, and scallion noodles. Also had the iced lemon tea. All was fresh hot and tasty.

I got takeout from Meet Xi An -- the food was ready quite fast. I got the corn and pork dumplings in sour soup as well as the beef noodle soup. The beef noodle soup was very clean tasting - not too much flavor, but the meat was tender. The dumplings in soup were good, but next time I'd probably order the dumplings without the sour soup. It had an almost medicinal taste to it that I didn't enjoy. Overall was a good experience.

It was okay. I did the extra bokchoy for $2+ only to find out I got 2-3 extra pieces of bok choy LEAVES. Not a whole Bok choy...I'm talking about the LEAF. It's a large bowl of soup but they do cheap out on ingredients and give you less than the standard amount (ground meat, noodles, etc.). Flavor was pretty nice but if I'm paying $18-19 bucks for a bowl of soup and small bits of meats with 5 pieces of leaves and some spices. Not even the devil will dine here. Oh and when you're paying with the automatic kiosk it automatically adds 18% as tips. lol. Make sure you check what you're paying.

Wonderful little addition to west Cary specializing in homemade dumplings and hand pulled noodles. Like many quick service places now, you order at a kiosk & the food is brought out to you. The interior is clean & bright with both table & booth seating. The food overall was very good...fresh, flavorful & well made. They will tailor the spice level & in the case of my tea, the sweetness level. The hand punched lemon tea was outstanding as were the sesame balls. Prices are a bit high. It was $2 more to add 2 pieces of bok choy to our noodle dishes & $6 to add the beef that you see in the veggie noodles. Other than that, it was a good overall experience.

Sooo delicious! This is a new spot, so the interior is very clean, bright, and comfortable. The employees are so nice! Order at the counter or use the digital kiosk, then seat yourself; the staff will bring your meal to the table. Everything was fresh, hot, and well seasoned. Some items come in original (mild) or spicy, so be sure to check the menu. I had the noodles in bone soup and couldn't stop eating! We will absolutely be back!

Flavorful Asian spot. Self order and they bring your meal to the table. Particularly loved the soup dumplings!

Best western Chinese food I ever had. The environment is a little basic, but food is amazing. Flavor is perfect. Homemade dumplings, Chinese hamburger, beef noodle soups are must try

We were ravenous, but had an intense Chinese food craving, so we ordered Chengdu 7 food from Uber Eats. Food did not disappoint! We ordered sesame chicken, chef special fried rice, chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef*, shrimp fried rice, and everything was delicious! Fan favorites were the Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice, but honestly EVERYTHING was good. And you can tell a lot from a place by how they package your food: food was delivered in tightly seeled packs and labeled! It sounds minor, but is so helpful when you're feed 2 dozen hungry people. All in all, Chengdu 7 you truly made me a fan of you. I will most certainly be returning for more!

We enjoyed so many different dishes - hot and sour soup, scallion pancakes, egg rolls, hand pulled noodles with beef, kung Pao chicken, cumin beef, beef with vegetables, crag rangoon, and pork dumplings. Every dish was wonderful. And for anyone who has not tried the hand pulled noodles here you really must try them - they are a highlight of a meal - incredibly delicious with a wonderful texture. The flow of food to our table was great, not too fast or rushed and not too slow. Our waitress was wonderful and ensured that our group had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.

Room for probably 3 diff groups of people to eat. There were tables to seat 4, two tall stool seats by the window facing the parking lot, and a tucked away spot with a folding chair beside it and had cups of utensils on it. I ordered the cold flour noodle with sesame sauce and the shaanxi mutton soak buns. Both were tasty and the cold noodles were refreshing. The employee described the mutton soak buns dish as a soup soaked pancake which is pretty accurate. It reminds me of a rice porridge but with chopped dough instead of rice. The restroom is in the back through the kitchen which is kinda cool because you can see them rolling out all the round flat bread that they use for the dishes. I'm guessing it's what they use for the rougamo (I've seen it at other Chinese restaurants described as a Chinese hamburger) and the shaanxi soak buns. It almost has a gnocchi type of consistency. It isn't your average fried rice and stir fry type of Chinese restaurant so if you're looking for something like that it might not meet your expectations. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. Also, get the plum juice. It's delicious!

Our meal started with a scallion pancake. It was very good, with just the right amount of scallion flavor but was a tiny bit too dense. Next we tried the pan-fried pork and celery dumplings. They were clearly just handmade, steamed, then finished off with a light panfry. I've never had this particular variety of dumpling before and these were delightful. The accompanying dipping sauce had a bit too much vinegar in it for my taste. Highly recommended. We shared the minced pork and eggplant for an entree. Wow! This was fantastic. The Japanese eggplant was very tender and the finely minced pork perfectly complimented the eggplant. We will definitely order this again. Adding steamed rice to this entree incurs a $1.95 up charge which seems like gouging on a $16.95 dish. Service was friendly and helpful, but not especially attentive or detail oriented. I got the impression that the restauranteurs in charge were highly experienced and showed a level of finesse that most similar restaurants in the area just aren't capable of. Beijing Cafe definitely warrants return visits.
