I stopped in here for lunch during my short trip to the Triangle Park area...and what a great choice! The place itself has a very nice, inviting vibe with many seating arrangements...and the service was very quick and attentive. I ordered their Kani Salad, Rock Shrimp and Eel Buns...and YOWZA, all three tasted AMAZING!!! It was actually the first time trying a Kani Salad and Eel Buns, and I'm now a big fan of both. Kind of odd how Eel Buns aren't common in other Japanese restaurants. I also tried their $5 Sake, and it was quite the steal for the price...but I will say that the alcohol wasn't that strong. Still, glad I ordered it...as it went well with the foods ordered. Definitely one of the best meals I've had while visiting this area!

I've been to Mass Sushi & Ramen about half a dozen times now, and I have absolutely zero complaints. The sushi is always beautifully presented and consistently fresh, arriving quickly every time. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to greet and help you, which makes the experience even better. It's easily become one of my go-to spots, and I'll keep going back again and again!

Masa is my third favorite sushi restaurant in the Triangle behind Akami and Ajisai. Being third may not sound as good as being first, but don't let that scare you off, this place is really good. And it's a much better value than the other two! I can only review based on sushi because that's all I've gone here for. I forgot they have ramen until I decided to write this review. I usually hit up Noodle Boulevard for ramen but I think I'm gonna have to come here specifically just to try the ramen. This is tucked into a shopping center in Cary/Apex that has a ton of parking. It can get quite busy here during the Friday-Saturday rush so I recommend going any other time than that. I can't comment on lunch because it's too far from me to get there but I've heard it's pretty busy but not impossible. I really love the decor, it's modern Japanese-American fusion. Tables are nice and new and most importantly clean. Nigiri and sashimi are decently sized and all of the fish tastes fresh and isn't warm. The rolls I think are the stars here...they have quite a few but be bold and step away from just your basic tuna and salmon or dragon rolls and go for one of the special rolls. The Lobster roll is one of my favorites, $20, tempura lobster, mango, asparagus, lettuce, avocado wrapped in pink soy paper, mango sauce, sumiso, eel sauce, red and yuzu tobiko. The Amazon is another good one, $16: salmon, apple, spicy tuna, tempura fish, avocado wrapped in green soy paper, eel sauce, spicy aioli, honey wasabi, furikake. It's a bit different and I love the honey wasabi. My absolute favorite that I get every time is the Baby Tako Salad $11 marinated baby octopus with sweet chili sauce. The baby octopus is just so tender and the marinade makes them less chewy. Service is great and what you'd expect out of a nicer sushi restaurant. Definitely worth a try!

Sparse modern interior with a bar and very friendly and patient staff. Very good service. The spicy Tonkotsu was flavorful and spicy. However the Bok Choy needed to be cut into smaller portions. The soft boiled eggs were delicious in the broth. Also, though spicy not as spicy as the Tantan. On the curry chicken, maybe go for grilled chicken instead of breaded even though there is an up charge . While good there are equally as good or better ramen joints around. The winner that will keep me coming back was the Jalapeño Bomds. They were the bomb! I will have to come back and try more of their sushi and maybe skip the ramen. It crowded before we left.

This is really more of a 3.5 review...We came here on an early Sunday afternoon for lunch. It's located in an unassuming strip mall. The inside was clean and simply decorated (I did like the lighting fixtures!) The owner greeted us as soon as we walked and were seated quickly. I ordered the Tempura Shrimp Udon and Jalapeño bombs. The udon came out first which I thought was little odd since the bombs were an appetizer but maybe they didn't want us to wait? I've never had true ramen before so I'm not sure if this was authentic or not. It was pretty tasty but not life-altering in any way. I expected a little more for the $16 price tag. Now the jalapeno bombs were definitely delicious but there were only 4 halves of jalapeno...For $13. Everything was perfectly fine, good even but I wasn't really wowed by anything it was just acceptable. The prices seem a little high for what it was.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I will always recommend this restaurant. I've taken people who live out of state and always recommend the ramen and pork belly buns. The service is always fast and amazing. I typically go when it's not busy. I tried this place on a whim and fell in love. The atmosphere is quiet and very calming it's well-lit and they have beautiful chop sticks!!

I am a big fan of family owned restaurants. We went there on a whim and the place didn't disappoint! The welcome by the owner is genuine and the ambiance is comfy. The service is attentive and prompt. We ordered "the triangle " sushi to share and ramen for each of us. The food is on point. The average cost per dish is about $18-20 - which is the norm these days. We know we will be going here again- there are a lot of good options there that need to be tried out!

We came back and tried their sushi! Very happy with the quality of the sushi! I got the amazing tuna, which is rightfully named. All the flavors were delicious! The jalapeño bombs turned out way bigger than I thought they would be, and the cream cheese on that was rich and tasty. The only downside is that it's quite pricey. Service was fantastic and very attentive. The feel of the restaurant is nice as well, a little more formal than a casual eatery.

This place was so delicious- I didn't know I had great ramen right here in Cary this whole time. It's a cute restaurant with plenty of seating and parking and everyone inside was so nice. I ordered my food to-go but the hostess and servers all helped me with the menu and made sure I was good while I sat and waited for my food. I got the tarheel roll, spicy tantan ramen, and curry chicken ramen. The sushi roll was a 10/10 and my mom and I loved it and wish we got more. The hostess actually recommended it to me. I was happy to see plenty of ramen options without pork or pork broth. We got the spicy tantan and curry chicken ramen to-go, so we got both broths in to-go containers and mixed them together for the yummiest broth ever. Everything in the bowl tasted fresh and the egg in it was tasty. I would definitely come back whenever cause this meal was so flavorful and satisfying and they had a long menu of other items I wanted to try.

We really enjoyed our stop here. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The marvel roll was my favorite with the layers of flavor and textures. We had a great server who gave us enough time to make decisions but didn't hang in the back and forget about us. Very attentive service with refills and the check. We for sure would stop again if we were in the area.

Masa Sushi and Ramen was a random stop along the way back to the airport. I was in a nearby town for work and thought WHY THE HECK NOT!? I had time to kill and knew I could get more bang for my buck eating outside of the airport. And BOY I was right! I came when they weren't as busy and was seated right away. The waitress came over and was super sweet and personable. She was down to explain the menu but I needed no tour guide. Id already reviewed the menu in the parking lot. The restaurant offer a super serene vibe. I immediately felt relax upon entry. The were playing the vibey instrumental you typical hear in spas or nail salons. Lot of natural light. I ordered the Onion Soup, the Tar Heel sushi and the Spicy Kimchi Seafood Ramen. I love a good onion soup. It came to the table steaming hot. The crispy onion still have a crunch and they weren't shy with the mushrooms. The Tar Heel was superb. Like OMG from first bite I was in love. I could literally eat this every day. Its spicy, crunchy and creamy from the avocado. YUMYYY! Now when I initially ordered the Kimchi Ramen I've never had kimchi before. While I didn't love the smell of the dish it was actually delicious. And to my surprise kimchi is wonderful. I really didn't know what to expect. I wasn't disappointed with my experience. Come check them out! You won't regret it.

This is always our go to ramen spot if you ever crave ramen. We got the spicy and non spicy tonkotsu ramen, both filled with rich flavored broth and the spicy wasn't overbearing. Service here is always consistent and spot on.

Great service, quick and happy to serve! They do not skimp on amount of food either. The price you pay here is great compared to west coast. Lots of thick pork, charred, and lots of noodles and toppings. High quality blended chili oil was also a surprise. We'll be back! I ordered Spicy #2 but I think a great order is to try the tonkatsu regular and the spicy #3, order the side of chili oil! Thanks team! Very good job

Nice little shop, fun artwork on the walls themed to the store, simple counter order and they bring it out when ready. Unfortunately for me, they had a lot of options I wanted to try, we ended up with the edamame, some pork belly cheese fries, and since it was warmer we went with rice options instead of ramen. I got the tonkatsu rice bowl and she got the Japanese curry rice bowl. Between the appetizer and the meal we were both unable to finish and I enjoyed it the next day as a left over. They have a great self service option for take away containers which I appreciated, except my skills of 'dumping from bowl into container' were less than stellar. While we probably won't be back often as they're a 45m drive from our normal haunts for a 'whats open after 8pm on a Friday' they were a welcomely pleasant surprise and quite good.

Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! The short rib ramen was good, but the noodles were short, like they were cut or made short on purpose. The shrimp shumai was disappointing. Small bite sized portions, but they were soft. After cutting into one, I found out that they use rice as a filler with a bit of shrimp. I've never seen rice used in shumai, unless it's Shanghai sticky rice shumai. Also got a unagi don togo, it was good, just a bit small on the portion of eel, but it's hard to mess up an unagi don.

The broth had great depth, the spice provided a nice kick, loved all the different toppings but I do think there could have been more pork. - Tonkatsu Ramen (Signature rich pork broth, pork belly, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, green onion, 1/2 seasoned soft-boiled egg, thin straight noodles): Same great broth as the tan tan, chashu was perfectly fatty and tender, liked all the toppings again. The noodles themselves didn't really stand out to me. - Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box (Dashimaki, shrimp shumai, salad, pickles, rice, miso soup): Ehh... this was fine, but I'd definitely skip it next time. For the price, the quantity and quality of everything but maybe the chicken (which was smoky but way too sweet) was lackluster. - Chicken Curry Don (Panko breaded chicken cutlet, Japanese-style curry sauce, potato, carrot, onion, nori): The chicken was crispy, but quantity was so small. Curry was tasty, but inadequately warmed. - Raindrop (Plant-based ice jelly, brown sugar syrup, soybean powder): Such a unique dessert- ofc the visual is great, but the texture was interesting and it was subtly sweet too. Ambiance is nice, but the space is pretty small. Service was fast and friendly. There's plentiful parking. 7.5/10 would recommend!
