Stopped in for an impromptu solo dinner and had a great experience. The host was very friendly, and even though there were a few parties ahead of me, I was seated in under five minutes, super efficient! My server was welcoming and attentive, and once I ordered, everything moved quickly. The tonkotsu ramen was outstanding & beautifully prepared and easily in my top five anywhere I've had it. The broth was rich, perfectly hot, and I loved that all the toppings were included and balanced so well together. Excellent food, friendly service, and I would absolutely return. Inside felt a little bit like a sports cocktail bar lots of bustle, the focus was less than the decor and much more on the food but this food speaks for itself and that's why you're there!
Arrived shortly after opening. 2/3 of the tables were already taken. Simple Ukiyo style paintings/mural. Very clean place. Food was very tasty. Good place for warm soup on a cold day. It was over 30 minutes between order and food arrival...
Despite a roughly 25-minute wait on a busy Friday night, the experience was absolutely worth it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. We ordered the spicy edamame, shoyu ramen, and chili garlic mazemen--each dish was delicious, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. The server was also very sweet and attentive, even though they were very busy!
We had a great experience and tasty, hot noodles on a cold day. The general consensus from our table was "Delicious, if you love garlic!". All of the dishes, but especially the broth in our ramen/udon tasted like someone had a field day with a bag of garlic cloves. We're team "no such thing as too much garlic", but we also know people who would think our meal today was unedible, so, tread with caution if you visit here. As a side note, the spicy edamame description on the menu lists "sesame seeds" only, but to us the garlic sauce tasted, looked, and smelled like peanut sauce, similar to a satay. One of the people on our table has a peanut allergy, and thankfully didn't eat any before the rest of the table tried it. Nowhere on the menu does it list that the sauce is peanut based. Overall, we would come back and try more things, we thought it was tasty, just very generous on the garlic
Tried Miso Ramen and loved it. Great vibe, not cramped, and Alex was an amazing server--knew the menu and gave solid recommendations. Chicken ramen pictured and it was incredible. The broth was insanely flavorful, the egg was perfect, and the veggies tied everything together. Also had the chicken wings (huge, slightly sweet) and beef skewers both so goooood. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The table next to us had the pork belly fries. I would definitely be getting that next I go back. They loved them. Hands down the best ramen I've had in the Triangle. 10/10.
I discovered Miso Ramen Bar through Offline (the restaurant club), and it instantly went to the top of my list. I tried to go on my first day but the line was wrapped outside the door--which told me right away this was the spot for ramen. I decided to come back on a weekday when it was less busy, and I'm glad I did. The menu is small but well thought out, and I really appreciated the flexibility to swap out proteins. A lot of ramen spots lean heavily on pork, which I wasn't in the mood for, so being able to customize my bowl was a big plus. The flavor was absolutely amazing--rich, balanced, and comforting. Easily a 10/10 on the ramen. I sat at the bar, and the bartenders were very attentive and provided great service. That said, the place does get very busy and packed, so be prepared to wait--especially if it's chilly outside. Overall, the food and service were excellent, and I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to Offline for the recommendation--this one did not disappoint.
Phenomenal ramen. Super flavorful and full of depth. My husband had the Tonkatsu ramen and subbed the pork for chicken. The broth was so delicious. I had the Chili Garlic Mazemen noodles. They were really good. The sesame flavor came through and the spice level (spice level 2) was perfect. Enough spice to taste it but not so much it overpowered flavor. I would definitely come back and try some more items. The ambiance is a little lacking. It doesn't feel super inviting but the food definitely makes up for it. Service was good, wish they had physical menus instead of QR codes.
The star of this show is not the service, it's not the variety of items, it's THE RAMEN. I could probably drop this to 3-4 stars because of how I felt with the service or the edamame, but the ramen blew me so far out of the water that it's easily a 5-star worthy restaurant. Let's start with the ramen. I ordered the Tonkatsu with a level 1 spice (You can choose up to 3) for a little kick on top of a classic pork broth. Every ingredient in this biowl of ramen complemented one another. Mise en place was practiced when they cooked up this bowl of ramen, as the presentation was BEAUTIFUL. The broth was creamy and full of punchy flavors bursting out of it, the soft-boiled eggs perfectly cooked to a creamy near-gelatin inside, and the pork belly was by far the best pork belly I've had in a bowl of ramen. It melts into your mouth as if it was made in a high-level barbecue restaurant and transported immediately into this bowl. 10/10. No issues with the ramen, this was the most stellar bowl of ramen I have ever had, and I've been to LOTS of ramen restaurants around the Southeast! When it comes to the downsides, they were so minimal I decided to negate them, but I'll bring them up anyways. I came in at an early time, and I understand from restaurant experience that it's hard to go the extra mile for every guest that comes in. I got my order taken pretty quickly, the waitress was friendly, and I got the check in a timely manner. The times that weren't my favorite were when my drink was empty for several minutes without offer of a refresh, and it wasn't a busy time when it came to how many guests were dining in. Nothing wrong with the base-level service, but nothing over the top to where it really stood out to me as great service. The second was the edamame, while the top and outer edges were piping hot, the edamame in the middle was quite cold, telling me the way it was reheated wasn't exactly ideal. Since they're just soybeans, it wont affect my 5-stars. I know this has been a long review, but bottom line, GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! If you love ramen, this ramen will love you back. That's a promise.
Broth was delicious and flavors were good overall! Pork, in my opinion, was very overcooked and fatty and noodles were clumped together so kind of hard to get a bite. Service was quite slow as well but it was a Friday night so definitely busy. The place itself is very cute and not a bad bowl of ramen, just not my favorite in the area.

I was surprised at how busy the parking lot was (plenty of spaces, just lots of people that day). Our server was friendly and attentive. I got the pork belly buns (delicious with a little bit of kick) and the chicken curry ramen bowl. The ramen bowl is pretty large. I don't use chopsticks, so I was struggling a bit to dig into the noodles with the spoon, so eventually I gave up and asked for a fork (yes, I'm that person). The broth and chicken were very flavorful and I was full by the time I finished. Will definitely be back!

I recommend arriving a bit early as there may be a short wait (reservations are not accepted), but there is bar seating available. Upon arrival, you can add your name to the waitlist, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is consistently busy, yet always well-maintained with clean facilities. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and go the extra mile to ensure a welcoming experience. Whether dining with friends or adults, everyone can find something appetizing on the menu. Here is what we order on our most recent visit: Karage Wings $12 Pork Belly Buns (2) $9 Kids Miso Ramen with Chicken and Eggs Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl $12 The food was delicious overall, and I particularly enjoyed the wings and the pork belly bun. A tip to keep in mind: it's best to finish the wings while you're at the restaurant. If you have any leftovers and take them home, they don't reheat well.

As someone who loves ramen, I can confidently say this is some of the best ramen I've had. I've worked my way through several ramen options on the menu... from the Shoyu, Tonkotsu, Chicken Curry, and Miso, each bowl is very flavorful so there's really no wrong choice here. One thing you absolutely should not skip are the wings. They are so delicious and a must order item every time I go. The food alone would be enough to bring me back, but the experience is made even better by the quick, friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. If you're in Raleigh, this is a spot you have to try! read more
Visited Miso Ramen Bar for dinner on a Wednesday. It was pretty busy, but people were coming in and out, so we got seated quickly. Service was excellent, they were quick and efficient. I tried the shoyu ramen, along with an order of the takoyaki. The takoyaki was good. It had a crispy outer shell, with a creamy batter like inside. The shoyu ramen was also good. The broth was light, the toppings were cooked well, and the noodles had a good chew. Service was the best part of this dining experience. We stuck around awhile and did not feel rushed to leave at all. I would return. read more

I love edamame, so I always have to order if it's on the menu. I will dream about the spicy garlic edamame! It was literally so delicious and the best edamame that I've ever eaten! Food- I ordered a spicy tomato miso Ramen for all the people who don't like spicy food this is for you! You can add for spiciness to it too. It was around 17 dollars I think a little cheaper for a kids size but it is definitely worth it! It taste like a mothers cooking. Service- it came out in like under 15 minutes so pretty fast. The lady was nice but I don't know her name. Ambiance- it's nice and chill in there and it smells so good in there! Would recommend comming here. read more

My daughter chose Miso Ramen for dinner this evening. We arrived around 6:30 and it was pretty crowded. I realized they aren't open on Monday's, so possibly that's why it was so busy on a Tuesday. They mentioned they had a huge lunch crowd as well. We sat at the bar, and Joe took great care of us. We ordered yummy cocktails and appetizers first, of course asking Joe for his suggestions. We ordered the pork belly fries and the wings, but they were out of wings due to the high volume lunch crowd. The pork belly fries were absolutely amazing. I couldn't stop eating them. For entrees she ordered Ramen and I ordered a noodle entree. We both enjoyed our entrees, but were so full from the pork belly fries, we only ate a little and took the rest home. The ambiance was cool, it's dimly lit, lots of tables, mostly all close together, and a few booths. There's about 10 seats or so at the bar. The overall service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. I'll definitely go back to try the wings, other cocktails and other items on the menu. Great choice! read more

I've been to Cary location of Miso Ramen bar before but this was the first time trying the Raleigh location. We got a bunch of stuff including cocktails, appetizers and ofcourse Ramen. Everything was delicious and fresh. I'd definitely go back to either location again. read more

I have been searching for the best ramen spot in Raleigh since I moved here and I think I've found it! I ordered takeout, so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant itself. However food was fresh, hot, and delicious when we got it. The food was ready at the promised time as well! Now, the food. WOW! We ordered the edamame, tonkatsu ramen, and curry ramen. The edamame was good, but the real star of the show was the ramen. Both dishes had exceptionally fresh components including lime, bok choy, and mushroom sprouts. The jammy eggs were cooked to absolute perfection. Both of us had pork in our dishes, which was amazing and not too fatty. Now, the curry broth was absolutely phenomenal. The warm spices and creamy texture was to die for. I got it at a spice level 2 out of 3 and felt like I definitely could have gone up to a 3. For reference, I usually prefer a medium to hot level of spice. My husband got his spice level 3 out of 3 and also wanted more. Just something to keep in mind when ordering! The tonkatsu was incredibly flavorful and savory. Overall, the ramen was the best I've had in Raleigh so far. My only qualm is the lack of spice, but I will just know to order it hotter next time! Yum! Everything we had was so delicious! My husband had a Sapporo draft and I had a Miso Peach and a Hello Kitty and both were really good cocktails. We then ordered the buns as an appetizer and...also great! The cucumber in the buns gave it a perfect fresh crunch. We had the Tonkotsu Ramen; the broth was sooo tasty, the pork belly so tender, and the noodles were the best!!! Our server was very attentive and helpful! We will be back! read more

Came here for dinner one day during the week and it did get a little busy but I sat at the bar. Had to scan a QR code to access the menu so wasn't a fan of that. I got the curry chicken ramen and it was pretty stacked with a lot of things. I could only eat about 1/4 of it and took the rest home. You definitely get your moneys worth. The curry broth was good and had a little spice to it. Might try this spot again. read more

I want to start off by saying I always order a Tonkotsu Ramen from every Ramen shop, it's the Original. Miso Ramen Bar was amazing I have been to 10+ different Ramen shops From Indiana ,Chicago,Minnesota,Pennsylvania,Georgia And now North Carolina to the list. When traveling for work I always have to try a Ramen shop in the local town. I normally rate the food by how much of the broth I am able to finish. Out of all the Ramen shops I've been there was only one time where I was able to finish the broth and that was Chicago at Arlington Heights in Mitsuwa Market at Hokkaido Ramen. Miso Ramen Bar was amazing I finished every last drop of the Broth in my bowl. Service was excellent. Everyone was nice and friendly. The Ambiance Was cool from anime to watch while you eat to catchy songs to hear in the background. I would totally go back again if I travel to Raleigh,NC in the future. Overall I would place Miso Ramen Bar tied with Hokkaido in Chicago for 1st on my list out of the 11ish shops I been to so far. read more

Try the kaarage chicken wings here!!!! Definitely my favorite thing I tried here. Great flavor, crunch, and freshness. The remaining items we got were good as well, but not at the same level as the wings to me I really didn't love the chili garlic noodle entree, as it really just tasted of pure chili oil and the noodles were all stuck together. If you love chili oil, it could be for you though. I was just hoping for a bit more depth of flavor. Otherwise, I do appreciate the portion size! read more

Miso Ramen bar is located in a shopping plaza with other businesses. We came in the evening after the restaurant reopened again for their evening hours. We were seated right away and several other patrons dined in at the restaurant soon after we came. There were several tables inside with nice colorful decor. There is also a bar inside. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. It was served in a large bowl with pork bone broth, eggs, corn, chasu, enoki, scallions, bok choy, and nori. We were given hot sauce to add some heat to the ramen. I only needed a little to really elevate the dish. It was really good and filling. The restaurant also offers kid size ramen servings. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our waiter was very kind and inviting as soon as we walked in. The restaurant has animated ramen art that helps you feel welcome and invited. The spicy tan tan ramen was incredible and filled with umami flavor. I spent six years living in Hawaii and I have experienced some of the best ramen you can find outside of Japan, this ramen bar meets the mark in every category. The music, staff, and energy in the restaurant makes you feel comfortable and assured that every need you have will be filled. When we ordered they offered to give us small portions of broth to try before we ordered. The drinks were very good and would love to try more of them. After enjoying our meal the general manager came out with two complimentary wings to try and they were crispy and filled with flavor. I live in Jacksonville and I will be returning very soon just to eat here again. This is the gold standard of what you should expect in a restaurant when it comes to food, service, and company. Finding restaurants like this are few and far between, other owners need to take notes from this establishment. read more

The broth was flavorful, the pork belly was tender, and the egg was perfectly jammy. Bonus they also have coke zero (far superior to diet coke). The menu isn't huge but it actually has quite a variety. If you aren't in to ramen they do have a few other main dishes as well. Parking is super easy! They are in the same plaza as Union Special and Mordecai Brewing. read more
