Yum ! We were kind of skeptical but this place is nice clean and the set up makes it look spacious. We came in on a Saturday night and honestly was surprised it was not packed . The service was great as soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated and I am now thinking he might have been the owner . They have a bogo buy one get one on the sushi . We got 4 rolls . The Thai coconut soup ramen with mushrooms and beef . Thai chicken wings with chili sauce . Coconut cake and fried ice cream with banana . Everything was mouth watering .

Found this restaurant on my day off and loved it. They have a large variety of sushi options, which for someone who only will do crab and shrimp, was amazing. Staff was very friendly and the place is lovely and very clean.

It's sushi time bitches So first and foremost, I'm a whore for Thai food, let's make that clear. I have a routine when I try a new spot. It consists of getting pad se ew, green curry, and one appetizer, usually summer rolls. I was alone for this outing and you know my ass got all three dishes. The server said you go girl. I loved the respect I got from it. So I got the three things I mentioned earlier, and 2/3 were hit it out of the park. I was super impressed with the noodles and the curry, and I enjoyed eating the leftovers over the next few days too! The summer rolls, I can't say the same. I wasn't too pleased with them. The roll itself wasn't bad, but the sauce ruined it, and that dipping sauce will make or break a dish. Some other things I would like to touch on are the bento boxes they have for lunch. I haven't tried them but if I see one on a menu I'm gonna have to get it. I love having options (if you couldn't tell already). Also, I had recommended this place to my friend and she got sushi. She said it was really good! All in all, I loved this place and I'll definitely be going back!

The restaurant was very clean. I was greeted when I walked in. The manager is VERY pleasant. I enjoyed his personality. Brice was awesome He was attentive. Checked on our table, refilled our glasses, etc. I went for my birthday. I enjoyed the sushi with my friends. We all agreed, it was very fresh & delicious. I would definitely go back for the bogo sushi. We also had the Thai chicken wings and crab rangoons. They were good. I ordered the Choya plum wine. It came in a small bottle, almost like an airplane shot bottle. So don't expect a regular amount of wine. But you do get a plum in every glass. :-) The Wonton soup had lettuce in it. That was different. I would recommend ordering it without the lettuce. They offer plenty of parking in the shopping center.

I came here right when they opened and there were a few patrons inside. I parked in the shared parking lot out front. Once inside I was greeted by two servers and seated right away. The restaurant is spacious with several tables and booths inside. The restaurant has a large menu that offers items such as lunch specials, sushi, Thai food, desserts, and cocktails. There is BOGO sushi everyday. Today I was in the mood for Thai food so I got pineapple fried rice. My food came out in a timely manner and was served hot. I was provided with a nice portion size and the presentation was appealing. There was large pieces of chicken and pineapple, and shrimp in the dish. The dish had fresh ingredients but the onions were really large. Overall I enjoyed my entree and had leftovers for later. While eating one server (trainer) came over once. I waited for some time after I finished eating for the server that was training to come over. He (trainee) seated another party nearby and I had to ask him for my bill and a box at that time. I would return to try their BOGO sushi.

I had heard lots about Sushi Time from friends and IG posts. We arrived on a quiet Sunday evening around 8. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot, it's next to the nail place on the side. We were seated right away. They have plenty of seating, lots of booths, tables and the sushi bar. There were maybe 2 other tables of people there when we arrived. The same young man that seated us brought us water. Once our actual server came to take our orders, we ordered with ease. So they have BOGO sushi which is a huge perk for sushi. No substitutions as per usual with BOGO, but fortunately you can have things omitted. We both ordered Miso soup as our starter and 2 sushi rolls. They have a nice sized list to choose from of sushi, along with lots of appetizers, soups, salad and several good looking entrees. The miso soup was fine. We both ordered the Sweet Dragon roll as is, and both felt the sweet sauce was too sweet and overwhelming. It would've been perfect with a drizzle of eel sauce. My other roll was the Philly roll. I asked that they omit the onion, otherwise it was a good Philly roll, which is one of my favorites. The service was ok, they were pleasant. We didn't finish our rolls and I thought it was kind that the guy who waited on us kept making sure everything was ok. I'd go back and try other things, but I won't rush back. We love sushi and have definitely had better sushi and better service. Everyone has an off night, maybe both Sushi Time and I both had off nights.

I wanted to like this place more. I won't judge them on this, but the restaurant is in a terribly built shopping center that's hard to navigate. We were greeted and seated promptly at 6:15. It wasn't too busy at that point. Good amount of seating (it used to be a Mexican restaurant). Since they just opened they were running a 1/2 off alcohol deal so my beer was only $3. Their beer selection is pretty nominal compared to the wine. My chicken pad Thai lacked any kick or spice, so that was disappointing. If they turned up the heat just a smidge I think that would help a lot. My friend got some sort of sushi roll (I don't eat seafood) that was B1G1 and he said it was good. Unfortunately, there were also some language barriers that caused some issues when paying our bills. The waiter seemed a bit impatient with us despite it not being our fault that we were redeeming an Offline offer.

Sushi for two- fresh and delicious

The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived and we got a nice booth in the middle. It is clean and nicely decorated. We had hot sake which was good and then sushi for two which was delicious. It was fresh, nice sized pieces, good variety and yummy. The service was great, our waiter was sweet and professional. Great sushi in a great environment. Was reasonably priced too. We didn't use the BOGO but there is for the rolls.

Don't let the name fool you. They have tons of Sushi options but just as many non sushi options. The Pad Thai was amazing!! All the other dishes at the table looked delicious as well. The menu has so many wonderful options and I can't wait to go back and try so many more. The food came out very quickly and the service was incredible too. They are very friendly and kind. Definitely a new fav for Asian food!

Nice and clean inside, delicious food and very friendly staff. The Thai cashew nut with chicken was very good but wish it could've been bigger!

I found this place while looking at a map to find a restaurant near a shop my husband and I wanted to visit. My husband loves sushi and I very much do not, but I adore Thai, so I thought this might be a good option for us. We didn't have high hopes when we saw how empty it was, but it was clean and comfortable, and the waitstaff was great. I had the tom kha ramen on our first visit and it was absolutely delicious! Huge portion (I have a big appetite and I took half of it home) and it was packed with delicious vegetables. My husband loved his sushi. We've been back several times since and it never has many people dining in, but the service is always lovely and the food amazing. I'm rather addicted to their vegetable pad Thai. It is delicious and this is my current go to place any time I crave it. I haven't tried any of the sushi and can't vouch for it, but the rolls are substantial and BOGO. My husband has tried several at this point and hasn't been disappointed in any of them. I really love this restaurant! If you like Thai or sushi without a ton of noise or people, it's a great place to eat!

Went here after the restaurant we were going to was closed. We ordered to go and sat at the bar and had my favorite beer, Asahi that was on draft and it was so good and cold. The restaurant is fairly new, plenty of parking and the wait staff was so nice. I had the sushi rolls that are bogo, which is always a plus. My friend had the ramen and she said it was good. We would definitely go back and dine in.

Been here a few times already food is delicious but service was horrible on my visit today. Came here around 1:45 and was greeted rob ht away with servers sitting down. They came up toward me and sat me in a booth by the window. Upon looking at the menu two servers came to my table I'm assuming she was training. She seemed very timid and prob a language barrier as well. The guy training her wasn't pleasant at all. While ordering my food he rudely told me to wait a minute. Which I found rude and impolite. He's attitude seems very rushed, and forced. Food came out quickly. After dropping off my food he walked away and came back in less then a minute to tell me that we close in 20 minutes!!!!! I hadn't even took a bite of my meal yet. And needless to say my apple er of spring rolls came out at the same time as my lunch. I was off put and immediately asked for a togo box and paid and left. Food is good but I won't be back because of the customer service. I don't like being rushed or cut off and told to wait while I was ordering. Server definitely needs to learn customer service and not rush us patrons as we are paying customers. Treat people nicer!

The restaurant is "cute," with neon, sushi cats, and TVs. Quiet when it's empty, loud when there are large tables. Both the tonkatsu and shoyu ramens tasted fine if a little too salty. Salt was, in fact, the primary flavor. The broths had nowhere near the richness and depth of flavor that should have been present. The noodles were appropriately bouncy and were well cooked. The appetizers were also just okay. It's hard to screw up edamame and they didn't. They were served hotter than usual which was actually very nice. The furikake fries are overrated. The fries themselves are good and beautifully crispy but that's due to the light coating of cornstarch or rice flour on the fries. That helps give them that extra boost. The furikake itself doesn't stick to the fries and just falls to the bottom of the dish, adding absolutely nothing to the fries. The restaurant seemed understaffed. The server did his level best but was spread too thin. All in all, decent food but Miso Ramen by the bus station is much better.

My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! (It's the nori, the seaweed wrapper, that sets it apart in the world of sushi.) The salmon, yellowfin tuna, and crab were so fresh that they tasted fishy to us. Again, I believe it's user error that this dish didn't fly with us. We used the soy sauce mixed with wasabi to disguise the fishy taste. Lesson learned.

It's located in downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street, right next to the ABC 11 studios, easy to find and a great spot if you're already downtown. The ambiance is great and fits the food well. There's a nice mix of seating, tables along the windows looking out onto the street, high top tables, traditional dining tables, and a sushi bar if you want to sit up close and watch everything being made. It feels lively without being loud, and works well whether you're there for a date night or a more casual meal. We started with the Aburi appetizer, torched salmon belly, ooba, salmon roe, Japanese seabream, yuzu kosho, and ponzu, and it was outstanding. Everything worked together perfectly, rich, bright, and balanced. I also ordered ikura and ebi, even though I meant to order ama ebi, but no regrets there. Still excellent. We shared the Poke Roll with wakame, avocado, cucumber, mango, tuna, salmon, hamachi, and Sono poke sauce, and it was very good, fresh, flavorful, and well composed without being overdone. My wife ordered the spicy miso ramen and loved it. The broth was the star, deep and comforting, and the pork chashu pieces were massive, in a good way. I went with the chicken katsu curry, panko fried chicken thigh with house curry and koshihikari rice, something I haven't had since Little Tokyo in LA a few years ago, and it tasted like home. Comforting, familiar, and exactly what I was hoping for. For drinks, I ordered the "SONO? SO-YES!" entirely because of the name, but also because I love blood orange. Casamigos Blanco tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, coconut cream, simple syrup, and blood orange juice, it was excellent. My only complaint is that I wanted more of it. My wife got the Okinawa Spritz, a play on an Aperol spritz with passionfruit, and it was even better than the original. We finished with the yuzu cheesecake. I debated between that and the ube cheesecake, but since this is a Japanese restaurant, yuzu felt right, and it absolutely delivered. Overall, everything from the food to the drinks hit.
