Strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba

When we walked in, we were seated right away. The dining area was nice and open. The drinks and food came out pretty quick. The onigiri was good, but crumbled as soon as I picked it up, so I was a little disappointed at that. However, the flavor was good. The ramen was delicious and comforting on a rainy day.

We were in the mood for ramen, and didn't feel like drinking to Cary(about 30 mins away) so we decided to give this place another try. Last time we had the wrong noodles, so we made sure we specified which noodles we wanted. We ordered our normal beer, Asahi beer but they were out. The waiter, very nice guy suggested a different kind, it was okay. We started with the Karrage chicken, it was good. We also ordered the edamame, which was the best edamame we have had. I had the tonkatsu ramen and they only give you half an egg, I've never heard of that, so I ordered an extra egg. My friend ordered the shoyu ramen and changed the meat to the ground pork, she also ordered an extra egg because we are not accustomed to just a half of egg. We both agreed the broth was just not flavorful. We kept adding soy sauce and chili pepper to add flavor. We probably won't go back.

Tasty Ramen, great karaage, light perfectly fried squid, excellent boba, great service and a trendy ambience! If you're still reading you should be headed there because you'll need extra time to find parking. It's not the easiest there's a bank wasting all the prime parking spots a for their business lol smh. But once you find a place to park you'll be happy for your effort. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. The ramen was good, the karaage and squid were as well, the homemade chili oil was , and the boba was excellent. If i were local I'd def keep this place on my lists of spots to hit so if you haven't yet hit it up!

This is a nice restaurant, the server was helpful and efficient. The food was good. We ordered the Shoyu Ramen, Miso Wings and Fried Tofu Buns. Each dish was very tasty. The menu did not have too much variety. Overall a nice place to have a quick bite.

Came here with two friends on a Saturday for an early dinner around 4 PM. The place wasn't crowded or noisy, which made for great conversation. The service was excellent. Our waiter, dressed like a character from Jujutsu Kaisen, checked in on us multiple times without being intrusive. I ordered the Iso Iso Ramen with braised beef instead of ground beef. I appreciated the option to customize the protein with any ramen choice. The ramen was spicy and delicious. I ordered the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea. It was just okay for me; it felt more like a dessert than a drink to accompany my meal, so I saved it for later. Note: They no longer offer sushi, even though it's still listed on the menu. Hopefully, they'll update the menu soon. I was initially disappointed but the ramen was so good it made up for it. Overall, great spot, great service, and really good ramen. I'll definitely be back for more.

Food was good as usual but they are really cutting back costs at the expense of the customer. Portions sizes are smaller, what used to already come in the ramen is now sold for an extra price. And they don't even sell sushi!!! They also don't give out to go bowls anymore, just quart containers

I love the interior - very bright and open. I met one of my daughters here for a quick meal before a play at NCSU Theatre on a random Thursday evening in February. She had picked this place because they have sushi (to accommodate my carnivorous habit!) and ramen because she loves it and there are great veggie options. Imagine my surprise when I ordered the two rolls I had picked out from their online menu and am told the sushi chef is not working tonight. I told the hostess she should have led with that, when I walked in and asked for a table. ("Hello. We have a full ramen menu but the other side of our menu- sushi, sashimi, and poke - is not available.") I wanted to leave and go elsewhere, but didn't want to embarrass my dining partner. I ordered a beef ramen and pushed down my disappointment that I'd not be having a rainbow roll and a Philly roll. The ramen was fine (I've never had it before, other than the instant ramen I lived on in college), but I really wanted sushi. There's a lot of stuff in the bowl beside the noodles, but no rice or raw fish. (Sigh) We shared a bowl of edamame, which we couldn't finish. It had a nice coating of salt and chili seasoning (a la Tajin). We'll probably visit again, and maybe they will actually have the full menu available, but I'll be sure to call first. Ramen is a poor substitute for sushi. A few other things that gave me pause: it's 2024, but there is no public wifi, despite two routers with the company name available. The staff suggested I connect to the coffee shop next door. Translation: "We don't care enough to serve you wifi like every other modern restaurant, but you can steal it from our neighbors who do offer this expected service to their guests." When we arrived, there was a setup at each place with a single, thin paper napkin. The server was quick to bring more when asked, but really? You're serving soup. One napkin isn't enough to wipe your mouth during this type of meal. Why so cheap?

Solid ramen spot outside Cameron Village. I enjoyed the Iso Iso ramen, which was spicy and flavorful. The husband reported that the Tonkatsu ramen was solid and also enjoyed the cha siu rice bowl. They also offer boba, and while tempting, I was more into indulging in the return of pumpkin spice at the Starbie's nearby. Service was nice and attentive. The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation. They don't have any designated lots; the closest lot is for the Chase bank only. It's also within an apartment complex, and it was unclear whether the parking there allowed for non-residents.

ISO ISO Ramen did not disappoint! Soon as we walked in, we were greeted by their friendly staff . The place is spacious with an option to eat outside or indoors .The interior and decor is super cute with the Asian flare . Our waiter was super friendly & helpful . He constantly checked on us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I got the shoyu ramen and it satisfied my cravings ! The shoyu ramen came in a creamy chicken broth with braised beef . The braised beef was so tender and delicious . I can't stop thinking about the beef! I really loved the portions and price point at this establishment . I find that a lot of ramen spots have just a small portion of toppings that come with the ramen and you always have to add on the extras. By the time your done adding all the good toppings , your looking at a $22 plus bowl of ramen . But with ISO ISO , the toppings you crave & want are already included. I only added nori (seaweed sheet) with my shoyu ramen. Our food came out quick & we were slurping the ramen in an instant . I can't remember the last time I actually finished a bowl . The table came with spicy oil that you can add to taste and just a little dabble made my broth so good. It wasn't too spicy. We were told to also try their sushi but we didn't want to be too full as we were headed to an outdoor music event . We will definitely be back to try the sushi and other ramen options !

This was my first experience having Ramen so admittedly I don't have much to compare it to, but this place is pretty good! It's a very cute and quaint little spot in Cameron Village in Raleigh. I went with a group of friends on a Monday evening and they easily accommodated the 5 of us. My friend ordered their version of an espresso martini and she loved it. I ordered a Japanese style beer and it was good. I'd love to check out some of their other cocktails. We all ordered a version of Ramen, I got the Iso Iso Ramen with shredded beef (a welcomed recommendation of our lovely waitress to cut some of the spice, I was so grateful!) it was super spicy but really good. The broth was extremely flavorful and the noodles were great. All in all this was a good first experience having ramen and I'd definitely try it again. I think, with my limited expertise, this is a good option in Raleigh with fair prices and great service!

I had the Iso Iso Ramen with Gyoza. Everything on the ramen was excellent, though I shouldn't have substituted the beef for chicken. The Gyoza was excellent and I loved the chilli sauce that it came with. I also had the Thai Boba Milk tea which was just the right amount of sweet.

Delicious!! This was…read moremy first time having ramen, and my friend suggested we go here, and I'm so glad we did! Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! I did ask them to cut the meat up but they were "not able" to accommodate that request. Every bite felt warm, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place is fun and energetic. The music was a bit louder than I prefer, but it didn't take away from how good the food was. If you're craving a great bowl of ramen in a lively atmosphere, Noodle Boulevard is absolutely worth the stop.

The shredded chicken was tender and generously portioned, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, jammy yolk. A friend ordered the Spicy Tan Tan, and I tried a few bites. We also shared a hand roll, which was a great addition. Fresh, well made, and nicely balanced, with good quality fish and seasoned rice. A solid bite to have alongside the ramen. Overall, everything was filling and genuinely delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh, portions were generous, and the flavors were thoughtfully done. We had the spicy miso ramen that sported a lot of chicken and a delicious broth. Very bold yet balanced flavors. As for the three hand roll set that we ordered we found out we are not real fans of hand rolls. I should have looked up what makes a hand roll a hand roll. (It's the nori, the seaweed wrapper, that sets it apart in the world of sushi.) The salmon, yellowfin tuna, and crab were so fresh that they tasted fishy to us. Again, I believe it's user error that this dish didn't fly with us. We used the soy sauce mixed with wasabi to disguise the fishy taste. Lesson learned.

Five stars, no hesitation…read more I heard about Sono Sushi through Resy and finally made it in. It's located in downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street, right next to the ABC 11 studios, easy to find and a great spot if you're already downtown. The ambiance is great and fits the food well. There's a nice mix of seating, tables along the windows looking out onto the street, high top tables, traditional dining tables, and a sushi bar if you want to sit up close and watch everything being made. It feels lively without being loud, and works well whether you're there for a date night or a more casual meal. We started with the Aburi appetizer, torched salmon belly, ooba, salmon roe, Japanese seabream, yuzu kosho, and ponzu, and it was outstanding. Everything worked together perfectly, rich, bright, and balanced. I also ordered ikura and ebi, even though I meant to order ama ebi, but no regrets there. Still excellent. We shared the Poke Roll with wakame, avocado, cucumber, mango, tuna, salmon, hamachi, and Sono poke sauce, and it was very good, fresh, flavorful, and well composed without being overdone. My wife ordered the spicy miso ramen and loved it. The broth was the star, deep and comforting, and the pork chashu pieces were massive, in a good way. I went with the chicken katsu curry, panko fried chicken thigh with house curry and koshihikari rice, something I haven't had since Little Tokyo in LA a few years ago, and it tasted like home. Comforting, familiar, and exactly what I was hoping for. For drinks, I ordered the "SONO? SO-YES!" entirely because of the name, but also because I love blood orange. Casamigos Blanco tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, coconut cream, simple syrup, and blood orange juice, it was excellent. My only complaint is that I wanted more of it. My wife got the Okinawa Spritz, a play on an Aperol spritz with passionfruit, and it was even better than the original. We finished with the yuzu cheesecake. I debated between that and the ube cheesecake, but since this is a Japanese restaurant, yuzu felt right, and it absolutely delivered. Overall, everything from the food to the drinks hit.
