We have tried sushi Iwa in Apex but this is our first time trying this Morrisville location and it is equally fantastic. The staff is super nice and welcoming, the food was delicious, and came super fast, and my little one loved her kid's chicken lomain

Bottom line: I enjoyed the sushi at Sushi Iwa with the "My Love" specialty roll definitely being my favorite of them. They do have BOGO sushi here. The broccoli with beef was adequate but not extraordinary, wishing the sauce packed more flavor. The starters of steamed gyoza and veggie spring rolls were both good. Service both visits was great and positive. The Deets: Seeing Sushi Iwa opening up in the Grace Park neighborhood of Morrisville, I've made a couple of visits here. It's located on the roundabout near Starbucks and Woody's in Grace Park. Going in, it appears to have the same layout and footprint that the previous occupants had at that location. Being solo each time, I was sat down at the booth next to the main doors/entrance upon each visit. There is a sushi bar in the back corner, regular bar on the other side and plenty of seating with booths and tables. With my visits, I had a good variety of menu selections. My first visit started with steamed pork gyoza and it was a good appetizer choice. For lunch, I went with the Chef's Selection of the broccoli dish with beef added for my protein choice. This entree was adequate, but not extraordinary, pretty much how you'd expect from any beef/broccoli dish dining out. I actually wished the brown sauce had more flavor to it. The house salad with ginger dressing was good, nice portion for a side salad. I wanted to see how the sushi was though, and even though they are known for their BOGO deal even with specialty rolls, I went with one roll of the "My Love" specialty roll with spicy tuna, salmon, cream cheese, spicy mayo, and topped with red roe (one roll is 8 pieces). I found this roll delicious! It had a lot more cream cheese than expected (not complaining) and I enjoyed all the flavors coming together in this roll. I made one more visit, this time to enjoy the BOGO deal they are known for, but first ordered a couple of vegetable spring rolls for starters. I had to use a fork as they were extremely hot just out of the fryer as well as still a bit oily, but they were not bland flavor-wise and I liked them. For my BOGO sushi, I ordered the "White River" specialty roll (yellowtail, avocado, tempura flakes, topped with white tuna, orange caviar, and spicy mayo) and the "Cherish U" specialty roll (spicy tuna, avocado, topped with salmon). I enjoyed both of these sushi rolls, as I went back and forth over which one I liked the most...finally the flavors within the "Cherish U" roll won out but again, both were good to me. Throughout both visits, my server Victor delivered great service with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed throughout the meals. I think I like Sushi Iwa for their sushi and appetizer selections, glad to see them in the neighborhood.

Was visiting for a wedding and decided to try this place. The food was very good and the service excellent. My husband and got the Julianne's moon, Loren's, special salmon and sweet dreams.

The menu seemed pricey but the ambiance and food quality more than deserves. It is nice tranquil environment. The service is quick and respectful and they are not shy in guiding. I had eggplant dish, which I have had at multiple chinese restaurants before, but haven't seen this style of creation. It looked and tasted awesome. I wish they had more vegeterian items on the menu especially for the dinner and that has held us back from visiting. They had nice chinese jazz music playing. I enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit again. I asked the server for vegeterian options during dinner, he said they are willing to accomodate e.g. fish with tofu. So we will be here again another time with family.

Pretty cool incorporating high end Chinese food, and the atmosphere was fancy but cozy. Don't forget to look around, they have lots of cool decorations! As for food, I was a bit underwhelmed. We started with the salt and pepper calamari which had a great balance of mala spice. It was delicious and set high expectations for the rest of the meal. We mainly came for the Peking duck which was honestly just ok, especially considering the price. I thought it'd come with more meat, most of the duck was skin which also seemed to be sweeter? than usual. We also got the century egg Napa cabbage which seemed very overpriced and under flavored. Our waitress mentioned it was a new item, so it may be refined in the future. Giving 4 stars for the experience. Missed our waitress' name, but she was great and made the experience even better. I think this place is worth trying again, but probably for another special occasion to justify the price range!

So, of course, I ordered one. A minute or two later, it was in front of me - a goblet filled to the salty brim with a well balanced blend of tequila, lime juice, triple sec and ice. Everyone else at the table followed suit, but the service wasn't so instant. More on this later. We were a group of 9, with reservations. The table was nicely located and not off in a corner. There were 2- and 4-tops all around us. Another long table, this one bar height, butted the end of our regular height table. The servers soon separated them for easier access. Goji y Agave is the product of a partnership between a Mexican chef and an Asian one. There are two menus for food, but you can mix and match between them. Several of us ordered a little from each. Few of us could finish our entrees, the portions were so plentiful! An early snag was placing an order for nine drinks at once - the bar was overloaded, and the servers couldn't get them out together. This created a bottleneck where we could see them on the bar, but could not get to them. Folks were thirsty! This repeated when bringing out food. Once the food arrived, it was amazing, but it was a long wait getting all the orders for a large party together and out at once. Fortunately, it was early on a non-weekend night. Sadly, things were still delayed. But I still recommend going, just maybe don't take the whole gang at once!

The space is very bright and has the unique feel indicated by the name, a little bit of Latin and Asian fusion. For dinner, I chose the red thai curry. It did not take long at all for them to get my food out, which I am very thankful for because I was very hungry. The red thai curry is delightfully flavorful and spicy. There was a decent amount of red thai curry and rice leftover for me to take them home for lunch the next day. The staff got me in, fed, and out the door in about 45 min.

Highly recommend the Evil Noodles; zippy, spicy sauce, grill charred mushrooms and veggies and the super wide, pillowy rice noodles. I used to dislike mango when I was young - I've since grown to be ok with it in my adulthood - but the Mango Tuna Crisp roll exceeded my expectations. The passion fruit definitely provided a nice contrast to the sweet mango that made it really delicious. Also, the spicy duck sauce with the spring rolls was a 10/10! That's the way I always want my duck sauce from now on. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars because the wait time for service and the check during our meal was very long. We came in when it wasn't busy and it became moderately busy while we were there, but it still was a long time between the times they checked in on our table.

In my eyes, Morrisville's strongest qualities are their Chinese and Indian options. Low and behold, Inchin's Bamboo Garden, a Indo-Chinese restaurant. I think the concept is cool, but they have some room to improve for sure. The quality of the food is pretty average, with no real outstanding flavors coming through. I wouldn't pick this place over a traditional Indian restaurant, nor would I choose this place over a traditional Chinese spot. I think one of my favorite items here is the chicken 65 fried rice. It is a good coming together of the Indian appetizer with a traditional fried rice. On the other hand, the mixed Cantonese noodles were a bit confusing. The noodles themselves where Chinese, but the flavor was spicy, a little sour, just, kind of a weird combination. I feel like this was an instance where fusion of cuisines created chaos in my palate, I didn't really know what I was eating! The cauliflower manchurian is also interesting, the sauce itself is decent but the flavors are again, kind of all over the place. I couldn't really tell what exactly I was eating and what flavors were in my mouth. I certainly love the creativity with this restaurant and think the concept is unique and fitting with the area. However, I definitely prefer sticking to the single cuisine and doing just the one thing great.
